Commentators: Chris Russo, Byron Saxton, & S. William Regal. Ring announcer: Caylee Turner.
Benicio Salazar vs. Rick Victor(w/ Sofia Cortez & Paige Knight): One of these guys might just win a match...though Victor has two new factors in his favor. YAY WRESTLING~! Salazar tries to go aerial with a rana only to get powerbombed to the mat...a flying European uppercut off the ropes(Canadian Lifter) is enough to finish the job.
Backstage: James Bronson is choking out Dean Ambrose with a rear naked choke! Wrestlers and referees arrive to separate the two, but the damage has been done.
Bo Rotundo vs. Big E Langston: Bo tries for the direct attack method on Big E...um, no. Regal draws the comparison between Langston and Mark Henry, wondering if Henry would be a good mentor for the young powerhouse. THE STRAPS COME DOWN but Rotundo avoids the big splash and starts his comeback. Langston tries to maneuver him into the Big Ending, but Bo hangs onto the ropes to avoid the move only to get unceremoniously dumped to the mat. Big E sizes him up for the kill...but he takes too much time and Bo spears him out of nowhere for the three-count!
Adam Mercer is coming soon...
General Manager Summer Rae(w/ Rob Naylor) enlightens us...next week, Richie Steamboat defends the FCW 15 Title against Antonio Cesaro with a thirty-minute time limit. Also, Jim Ross will be at the broadcast booth to call the match...tremendous. Summer calls Cesaro and Steamboat to the ring for a "photo op"...she's more interested in posing for the camera while the two combatants exchange harsh words. Richie offers a handshake but Cesaro walks away from him and leaves the ring.
Nick Rogers vs. James Bronson: Bronson says Regal can't have Ambrose yet because he(Bronson) isn't done with him...oh boy. Rogers is in the odd position of being the underdog face...he tries to pummel Bronson in the corner only to get powerbombed into next week. Bronson quickly catches him in a modified figure-four leglock and Rogers immediately taps out...but Bronson's not done as he grabs Rogers in the rear naked choke. The referee can't break up the hold...so Regal leaves the broadcast table to pummel Bronson! Regal locks Bronson in the Regal Stretch...but that's broken up by newcomer Garrett Dylan. THAT brings out Ambrose who beats down Dylan...and Ambrose locks DYLAN in the Regal Stretch! Regal and Ambrose glare at each other as referees arrive to restore order...they release their holds and Regal simply wags a finger at Dean before leaving the ringside area...
Seth Rollins vs. Kassius Ohno for the Heavyweight Title: Saw Tyler Black vs. Chris Hero at a Ring Of Honor show in Collinsville once...times change. YAY WRESTLING~! FLIPPIES~! CRAVATE~! Seth controls the early action...he teases a sunset bomb to the floor, but Ohno cleverly warps up Seth's head in the ring banner and stomps him in the face.
Ohno tries to slow the pace and the battle ends up outside the ring again...but Rollins re-enters and takes a major basement dropkick to the side of the head. Ohno steps up the aggression with his arsenal of strikes...but makes the mistake of going aerial and the somersault senton hits the knees. Looks like El Big Comeback to me...and Seth stuns Ohno with a huge forearm shot of his own. Ohno gets fancy by flipping through the ropes to the apron, but he immediately gets dropkicked to the floor. Seth's plancha is avoided but he lands on his feet...then Ohno goes for a somersault plancha which is avoided and HE lands on his feet...then Rollins finally connects with a suicide dive! Seth sizes him up for Avada Kedabra but it's blocked, then they trade waistlocks and Ohno blocks an O'Connor Roll, sending Seth throat-first into the top rope. Ohno follows up with a modified Orange Crush bomb(!)...for two!
Seth rolls to the apron and Ohno grabs him in a CRAVATE~! over the ropes, then they get into a backslide fight on the ropes until Rollins hits an enzuigiri. Seth to the top...flying forearm! Avada Kedavra...only gets 2 1/2! Ohno fires back and shoves Seth into the ropes, nailing the roaring elbow on the rebound...for 2 1/2! Death Blow/Ohno Blade(Rude Awakening setup in a roaring elbow to the back of the head)...gets 2 1/2! Ohno sizes him up for another big forearm strike, but takes too much time and runs into an enzuigiri! Advanced curbstomp...HITS! That's enough for the three-count and Rollins retains the Heavyweight Title!
Next week: Richie Steamboat vs. Antonio Cesaro for the FCW 15 Title with a thirty-minute time limit...so long from the Sunshine State!
