Friday SLA Results From Alton, IL

-Shane Hollister won a non-title six-way dance with Pete Dunne, ACW Heavyweight Champion Evan Gelistico, Travis Banks, Christian Rose, and Matt Knicks.  Eliminations:  Rose pinned Knicks after a roaring elbow.  Gelistico pinned Rose with a jackknife cradle and feet on the ropes.  Gelistico pinned Banks, stealing the pin after Dunne hit Banks with a brainbuster.  Hollister pinned Gelistico after a brainbuster by Dunn followed by a buzzsaw kick from Hollister.  Hollister pinned Dunne for the win after a sitout powerbomb followed by a buzzsaw kick.
-Cali 31(Darren Dean & Aaron Solo) d. The Daywalkers(Alex Castle & "Not Matt Cage"(Jeff O'Shea)); in Cage's absence, Castle selected O'Shea as his substitute partner.  Dean got the win by making O'Shea tap out to the Cattle Mutilation.
-Adam Raw d. Dan Walsh.  Walsh kicked out after Raw's fallaway suplex, so Raw repeatedly rammed his head into a steel chair in the corner before kicking his head into the chair.  That was enough to keep him down for the pin.
-Dingo d. Ricky Starks after the Dingo Driver #2.
-A.C.H.(w/ Hardcore Andy) d. Mark Andrews via Koji Clutch.  A.C.H. promised to win his best-of-three series with Davey Vega at Yuletide Terror.
-Arik Cannon d. Brandon Espinosa(w/ Angelus Layne); despite Layne's interference, Cannon got the win with a corkscrew brainbuster.
-The Hooligans(Devin & Mason Cutter) d. Alex The Big Owl & Jordan Lacey(w/ Jacob Dangle); Lacey had set up a Vader Bomb but the Hooligans powerbombed him off the ropes and onto Alex.  Both Hooligans dogpiled The Big Owl for the pinfall.
-Michael Elgin & Kyle O'Reilly d. Davey Vega & Mat Fitchett; O'Reilly pinned Vega after a modified version of Chasing The Dragon(with Elgin delivering a spinning backfist as O'Reilly held him up for the brainbuster).
-Gerald James d. Darin Corbin to win the Heavyweight Title.  Gerald was not accompanied by his family members(Dorian Victor & Gerald's Mom) as he wanted to win on his own.  Dorian tried to pass in a chair but Gerald didn't want to use it; that distraction led to Corbin hitting the Ginger Snap(Diamond Cutter) for a near-fall.  James rebounded with a flying DDT off the second rope and then hit the Michinoku Driver for the win and the title!  Afterwards, Gerald said he wanted to give the same opportunity to an up-and-coming wrestler that Adam Raw once gave him at Yuletide Terror several years ago...and he offered Mat Fitchett the first title shot.  Fitchett shook his hand to accept...the match is set for Yuletide Terror!
