Anarchy Wrestling TV #419

Commentators:  Bret Wolverton & Jonathan Feltner.

Lars Manderson vs. The Laredo Kid:  Manderson is said to be from Joplin, MO and trained by Bobby Eaton & Dave Taylor.  Hadn't seen his name in area show results, but I found an old column on Missouri Wrestling Revival about him.  The masked Kid has appeared previously with the Texas Wrestling Academy crew.  Manderson has a size advantage in this one but shows some agility with a nice dropkick and later a kip-up.  Manderson gets a decisive win with the Falcon Arrow...nicely done.

Todd Sexton was supposed to face Steven Walters, but Walters is absent due to a family emergency; Todd's speech is interrupted by Miss Rachael and her cronies(B.J. Hancock & Joey Rhymer).  Rachael notes that Salvatore Rinauro, Seth Delay, and Ace Rockwell aren't in the building either, so he has no backup tonight.  Todd and friends may have won a battle at Seasons' Beatings, but her side is winning the war and they're finishing the job tonight.  With nothing to lose, Todd says he'll compete in a handicap match...oh yeah, it'll be a street fight.  That'll be later...

The Hate Junkies(Stryknyn & Dany Only) vs. Hot Commodity(C.B. Suave & Tommy Penirelli):  Suave remembers Seasons' Beating as a great night since he won a Mega Rumble for a title shot of his choice.  For his part, Penirelli isn't happy about his partner getting the spotlight and keeps trying to horn in on the promo time.  Tommy tries to talk about the importance of the TEAM and claims to be the "leader" of said team...suuuuure.  This is the first time Stryknyn and Only have teamed up in Anarchy in a long time(Only had been absent due to injury).  Penirelli tries to chop Only...um, no.  He gets subjected to a Nasty Boys-worthy Pit Stop, then Stryknyn tags in for a BOOT PARTY~!  Stryknyn removes his belt, then chats with the ref as he tosses it to Only for a chokeout on Penirelli...yup, these are the good guys.

The Hot Commodity members turn the tide during an ad break and isolate Stryknyn...but he hits a Rock Bottom out of nowhere on Suave, forcing Penirelli to run in and break up a potential Tourniquet(Anaconda Vise).  Stryknyn gets some separation with a jawbreaker on Suave, then tags are made on both sides and Only's a house afire!  Suave pulls Only out of the ring before a lariat can happen, but a double-team backfires and the Junkies finish off Penirelli with the Hate Crime(assisted superbomb)!  Only's three-count on Penirelli is a formality after that.

Kevin Blue vs. Alex Avgerinos for the Young Lions' Title:  Avgerinos didn't win the Seasons' Beatings Mega Rumble, but he had an impressive performance(we're told) so he was granted a title shot.  Both guys are popular with the Cornelia fans so it looks like a technical bout on paper.  Avgerinos appears to tweak his knee as he comes off the ropes, but he's playing possum and surprises Blue with a rollup for two.  Haven't seen much of that since Bret Hart's heyday!  After a brief moment of "what the hell?", we get back to business...

The momentum shifts over the ad break, but Blue turns it around with a released German suplex...for two.  Irish whip and corner boot...gets two.  Alex turns it around with a flurry of offense culminating in a big clothesline...for two.  Blue hits a snap neckbreaker out of the, well, you know...for two.  It devolves into a slugfest, then they trade reversals until Avgerinos gets a rollup...for two.  Blue sidesteps a blind charge that hits turnbuckles, then gets an O'Connor Roll to finally get the three-count!  Suave(who was sighted by the commentators shortly before the finish) approaches the ringside area...but decides not to cash in his title shot privilege on this night.

Todd Sexton vs. B.J. Hancock & Joey Rhymer(w/ Miss Rachael), handicap street fight:  The competitors are in street clothes rather than wrestling attire...Todd starts with the high ground in the ring.  He attempts to stick and move, but the numbers finally catch up to him as the fans express less-than-flattering sentiments regarding Miss Rachael.  Sexton comes up with powder out of nowhere to blind his opponents...that turns the tide, but only for a short time.  Todd is able to isolate Hancock in the ring but runs into a snap belly-to-belly suplex off the ropes.  Todd maneuvers into a half-crab out of nowhere, but Rhymer re-enters with a springboard knee strike to break it up!  Joey covers...for two.

B.J. works on Sexton as Joey goes out for some plunder, setting up two chairs on the arena floor.  Rhymer jumps off the apron, but the flying knee hits Hancock by mistake and Todd whips B.J. into the ring steps.  Rhymer tries to suplex Sexton onto the chair setup but Todd reverses into a gourdbuster on the chairs!  Sexton duct-tapes Rhymer to the ringpost, casually punting Hancock in the groin so he can finish the job...then knocks Hancock out of his seat in one of the chairs with a flying boot!

Todd throws B.J. into the front row, then a fan holds up a chair so Todd can ram B.J. into it.  They brawl to the merchandise table and Sexton whacks him with a DVD, then they make their way to the restroom area...but Rhymer's freed himself from the ringpost in the meantime.  No matter, Todd dives off the guardrail to nail both opponents.  Sexton focuses on Rhymer, but B.J. returns the favor for that low punt earlier in the matchup.  It looks like the party's over for Sexton...Hancock goes out for more weaponry but that momentarly gives Todd an opportunity to choke out Rhymer and he has to dash back in and break it up.  Rhymer puts on a batting helmet, but the double-team battering ram backfires and Todd catapults Hancock into the helmet-wearing Rhymer, then rolls up B.J....for 2 1/2!

Hancock and Rhymer declare playtime over and Joey throws in a trash can as Hancock chokes out Sexton with his belt.  Todd comes up with a flying double clothesline out of nowhere...he signals for a piledriver on Hancock but Rhymer stops him with an enzuigiri.  With the trash can set up in the corner, Sexton counters B.J.'s powerbomb attempt with a rana into the can...then powerbombs Rhymer into the trash can!

Todd backdrops Hancock to the floor and takes out both opponents with a plancha, then brings B.J. into the ring and tilt-a-whirls into a Crippler Crossface takedown!  Rhymer tries to break it up with an elbowdrop but hits his partner by mistake, so Todd grabs both opponents in the Crossface at once!  Rachael takes matters into her own hands and hits Sexton with her shoe to break it up, leading Hancock on top for the pin cover...only getting 2 1/2!  Todd hits a stereo DDT and neckbreaker on both opponents, then goes to the top rope...only for Rachael to push him into a painful landing on the top rope!  Hancock and Rhymer finish emphatically with a spike piledriver(!)...B.J. gets the pin after that and Todd's not moving.  The other referees check on Sexton, but Rachael has no sympathy as she celebrates with a foot on Todd's prone body.  Sexton only leaves the ring on a stretcher...
