Anarchy Wrestling TV #420

Commentators:  Bret Wolverton & Jonathan Feltner.

"The Sin City Saint" Brandon Parker vs. Ethan Case:  Case's ring attire and bleached hair are..."luminescent", I'll say.  Parker's in an odd spot as he turned face to team with Kevin Blue, but Blue's now focused on singles competition as the Young Lions' Champion.  Case nearly gets the upset with a unique suplex variant, but a blind charge hits turnbuckles...Parker hits a flying double-knee, then finishes with a Ki-Krusher.

Mike Posey admits that promoter Franklin Dove pulled the wool over his eyes at Seasons' Beatings...but he assures us that things are A-O-K between him and Corey Hollis.

Kameron Kade vs. Mike Posey:  Kade's been in and out of Anarchy in the past year(and Wolverton uses that phrasing right after I type it...great minds think alike).  It takes a bit for the fans to warm up to Kade as a result...he gets a near-fall with a jackknife cradle and another after a Rock Bottom.  However, Kade whiffs on a missile dropkick and that's all the opening Posey needs to land the Alabama Jam.  1-2-3.

"Wild" Billy Buck vs. "The Five-Star King" Anthony Henry(w/ Miss Rachael, B.J. Hancock, & Joey Rhymer) for the T.V. Title:  Rachael hypes her protege before the match and gloats about the end of Todd Sexton's career...as is often the case in wrestling, your mileage may vary.  The referee boots Hancock & Rhymer from ringside right away, good for him.  YAY WRESTLING~!  Is Buck technically a two-time or three-time champion since the second reign ended before it really started?  Henry bails out of the ring to avoid the Buck Wild superkick, then Rachel's distraction attempt proves to be less than effective.  A foot grab does a better job of turning the tide, allowing Henry to clip the knee.  Time for some leg work to keep the larger man off his feet AND take away the superkick...PSYCHOLOGY~!  Henry gets a half-crab in the middle of the ring but Buck reverses into a rollup...for two.

Henry goes after the leg again but gets caught in a Samoan Drop off the ropes...I smell a comeback on the way.  Henry limps through the rally, hitting several bionic elbows and a spinebuster...for two.  Henry stuns him with a jawbreaker but Buck blocks the dropkick for a catapult...only for Henry to land on the middle rope.  He jumps backwards into a back suplex attempt, flips over to land on his feet, grabs his own waistlock only for Buck to reverse into a German suplex...for two(whew!).  Buck backdrops Henry over the ropes, but Henry lands on the apron and then blocks a kick to deliver a dragonsrew legwhip through the ropes!  Dropkick to the knee sets up a straitjacket German suplex(!)...for two.

Up to the third floor, but Buck cuts him off only for Henry to headbutt him down to the mat...frog splash HITS...for two!  He immediately gets the Texas Cloverleaf and Buck's a long way from the ropes...Henry pulls him back to md-ring but Buck escapes the move, transitioning into a figure-four leglock!  Now it's Henry reaching for the ropes...and Rachael rakes Buck's eyes as the referee is checking on Henry!  They trade strikes in mid-ring and they kick each other away as they try for their respective submission holds.  Henry goes for a springboard move...and gets superkicked out of mid-air!  Yup, that'll do it and Buck retains the championship!

Buck's still hurting from the match and C.B. Suave(who has a guaranteed title shot of his choice in the proverbial bank) tries to sneak into the ring...but he shifts into reverse when Buck catches him in the act.

The Urban Assault Squad(Shadow Jackson & Nemesis)(w/ The Vandal) vs. Iceberg Slim(Iceberg & Slim J) for the Tag Team Titles:  Iceberg and Slim won a three-way dance at Seasons' Beatings to earn a title shot, but the UAS cheated their way to a win on that night.  This breaks down into a brawl right away and Vandal runs in to un-even the odds...but the good guys clear the ring and Vandal is left to take a beating from two people who don't like him very much.  Anarchy imposed a three-man limit to stables a while back...but Geter + Shadow + Nemesis + Vandal makes four by my math.  (I can only assume Vandal's an "unofficial" associate.)

Oh yeah, opening bell.  Shadow takes a beating from Iceberg and then plays pinball in the opposite corner.  Nemesis doesn't have much better luck and Wolverton swears he heard Nemesis complain about a hair pull...won't see much of that in this bout.  Slim J unleashes the educated feet, then brings in Iceberg for a Banzai Drop off the bottom rope...for two.  Nemesis rakes the eyes and tags out to Shadow as the Unforgivable Blackness subset finally gets some momentum.  Iceberg armdrags(!) Shadow out of the blue...that's one way to turn things around.  However, an avalanche hits turnbuckles and Vandal adds a cheapshot behind the referee's back.  Shadow makes the tag and hits a Stone Cold Stunner, then Nemesis adds a big clothesline...for two.

Mutual clotheslines leave both Iceberg and Nemesis on the mat...tags are made on both sides and Slim J enters with a missile dropkick on Shadow!  The house is on fire...J focuses on Jackson and Flatliners him into the Roach Clip(inverted STF), but Nemesis breaks it up.  Iceberg's not ready to re-enter the fray just yet and Slim gets planted with a double atomic facebuster...Shadow lures Iceberg into the ring by spitting at him, leading to Nemesis surprising the big man with a powerslam!  However, Iceberg gets up right away and drops Nemesis with a belly-to-belly suplex...then Shadow drops Iceberg with the 1031 spinebuster...and J dives off the top rope with the flying inverted DDT!  Slim goes to the top again but Vandal runs interference...Slim fights off Vandal but Nemesis snaps his throat off the top rope.

The UAS members now have Slim J isolated with Vandal getting in his shots from the arena floor.  Slim finally dropkicks Shadow away...and Iceberg gets the tag!  Iceberg beats up both of his adversaries...Vandal runs in with one of the title belts but Iceberg dumps him out of the ring.  Vandal keeps the ref's attention as Nemesis BELTs Iceberg(that's how they won at Seasons' Beatings!)...Nemesis puts Shadow on top but J barely breaks up the pin in time!  Iceberg is busted open and Slim kicks off Shadow, then delivers the Screwdriver On The Rocks(Asai DDT into a Diamond Cutter-ish drop) on Nemesis!  Shadow cuts off Slim on the top rope, but Slim fights him off and launches a huge spinning kick off the turnbuckles!  J dives onto Nemesis and Vandal with a somersault plancha as Iceberg clears his head...GROUND ZERO SPLASH on Shadow and we have newwwww Tag Team Champions!
