WWE Raw
-Seth Rollins d. Rob Van Dam after the advanced curbstomp. Renee Young interviewed Rollins after the match, but Dean Ambrose(on the TitanTron) vowed that Rollins would never cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase successfully...
-Lana Perry(w/ Alexander Rusev) wanted to know who America's next "failure" would be...and got Jack Swagger(w/ Zeb Colter). Ladies and gentlemen, we have a face turn.
-Bray Wyatt & The Wyatt Family(Luke Harper & Erick Rowan) d. U.S. Champion Sheamus O'Shaunessy & Tag Team Champions Jimmy & Jey Uso when Harper pinned Jey after the discus lariat.
-The Funkadactyls(Naomi Night & Cameron Lynn) d. Nikki Bella in a handicap match booked by Stephanie McMahon-Helmesly(as punishment for Nikki inviting Brie to be her backstage guest at Money In The Bank). Cameron had trouble against Nikki, so Naomi tagged herself in and hit a Steamboat Press and Eye Of The Hurricane for the win. Naomi and Cameron got into a shoving exchange after the bell.
-Kofi Kingston d. Antonio Cesaro(w/ Paul Heyman) with a rollup out of nowhere; Cesaro destroyed Kofi after the match.
-The Great Khali d. Damien Sandow(dressed as Vince McMahon) after the JUDO CHOP.
-Returning to WWE: Mike Mizanin...at least he's a heel again. ALSO returning to WWE: Chris Jericho...well played. However, Jericho gets interrupted as well...by the Wyatts. The Family members beat him down and Bray laid him out with the Sister Abigail.
-Dolph Ziggler d. Johnny Fandango(w/ Layla El); Summer Rae entered the ring and planted a kiss on Ziggler. This bugged Fandango and Dolph hit his distracted opponent with the Zigzag to win.
-Goldust & Stardust d. Ryback & Curtis Axel when Stardust pinned Axel after a modified Flatliner.
-Women's Champion Paige Knight was interrupted by the surprise return of former champion A.J. Lee...A.J. seems sincere when she congratulated Paige on bringing her back down to earth, but Paige was suspicious and felt like she was trying to goad her into an impromptu title match. After a quick check with the fans, an impromptu title match started...
-A.J. Lee d. Paige Knight with a small package out of nowhere to win the Women's Title...okay, didn't see that coming.
-WWE Champion John Cena & Roman Reigns d. Randy Orton & Kane(w/ Triple H) by DQ; Reigns and Orton brawled to the backstage area and Kane bashed Cena with the ring steps to cause the disqualification. Kane Tombstoned Cena and HHH called down Seth Rollins to cash in his Money In The Bank contract, but Dean Ambrose jumped Rollins before the bell could be rung. Kane brought in a chair to do more damage to Cena, but Reigns returned to the ring to spear Kane...leading to a big staredown with Triple H to end the show.
Dynamo Special Comment
Pretty good turnout for the anniversary show...it sucks that this particular venue is hurt by soccer season forcing a layoff of several months in the wintertime. The lineup was hurt a bit by the absence of several key players, particularly Jake Dirden. The Tag Champs were also absent as Michael Magnuson and David DeLorean were at the WLW show in Troy, Missouri. Very little was announced for the show besides the main event, but they posted a few matches last week. Jeremy Wyatt was posted as facing Steven Kennedy, but Kennedy wasn't there so Brandon Aarons took his place. Rocket Mapache was scheduled to team with Dash Rando, but Mapache was absent so they did an angle for his replacement.
Your ring announcers were Luke Roberts & Chris Roedel, your timekeeper was Ben Simon, and your referees were Patrick Hook, Keith Smith Jr., Michael Crase, and Jay King. (Wow, four refs...that might be a recent record.)
Billy McNeil vs. "The Alternative" Brandon Gallagher: Dug the slightly altered look for Gallagher with the torn jeans(over his usual tights) and plaid shirt. Wonder how the fans with unicorn masks felt about Billy coming out in a gorilla mask for a change...heh. Gallagher wrestled in Mexico for the first time recently as he traveled there with The Hooligans, Alexandre Rudolph, and Jake Parnell. Had a hard time describing Billy's finisher...it looked like he was going for an up-and-over flying headscissors from behind, but it turned into a top-rope double-kneedrive to the back instead of the front(like that Matt Sydal guy does). At any rate, it got the win in 10:19.
Executive Director Mark Bland hyped the show, mostly the main event...he brought out Crystal Yount as a member of Dynamo management and she acknowledged some of the people who have been a part of the promotion since the beginning.
Jackal vs. "The Fittest Wrestler On Earth" Mark Sterling: Jackal is one of those Dynamo originals; I haven't seen him wrestle too often outside of Dynamo and (before that) GCW. Sterling got the win with an Air Raid Crash in 7:04.
Mike Outlaw vs. "Showtime" Bradley Charles: Outlaw made his pro debut at SICW last weekend against Dirden; he's a Dynamo trainee and this was his first outing for his home promotion. This was a bit more competitive than last week's bout; he's looked solid so far. SBC finished with a TKO in 7:15.
Dash Rando & Cavana Fantastic vs. The Professionals(Shawn Santel & Mauler McDarby)(w/ Travis Cook): Rando claimed that Rocket Mapache had rabies so he couldn't wrestle...that brought out Fantastic(also known as C.J. McManus) to volunteer his services. The match got a lot of time for something that would seem to be a one-sided affair on paper. On top of that, Fantastic dropped off the apron when Rando went for a late tag...that left the masked man to be double-teamed. Appropriately, it was a pair of Mafia Kicks that put Rando down for McDarby to pin in 11:25(!). Cavana cemented his status by laying out Rando with a post-match superkick.
"The Yoga Master" Mike Sydal vs. "Ironman" Ken Kasa(w/ Travis Cook): Interesting matchup here; was looking forward to it and I hope they get to face each other again and get more time. Almost missed the finish as Travis got into a tug-of-war with Sydal over the yoga mat; Ricky Cruz ran out to throw the spiked facemask into the ring. Kasa hit Sydal with it for the cheap win in 8:44.
"The King Of Chaos" Ricky Cruz vs. Outtkast, "Hardcore Chaos" Match for the Heavyweight Title: They released YouTube clips of backstage encounters between these two to set up the match. On top of that, Outtkast and Shorty Biggs ran in to help Dirden at the end of the last Fenton show. (Shorty was another guy who was notably absent on this night.) Outtkast had a hardcore "House Of Fun" match with Dirden a few months ago, plus things got a bit hardcore between Cruz and Dirden in the no-DQ match in Fenton. They didn't take any chances on whether the blood would flow as Cruz took a cheese grater to Outtkast's forehead...eep. Bland tried to intervene when Cruz brought out the handcuffs again, leading to Outtkast accidentally knocking Bland off the apron and Cruz beating Bland down with a kendo stick. In the confusion, Jeremy Wyatt ran in to DDT Outtkast on a stop sign...not quite sure why they needed a referee distraction in a HARDCORE MATCH, but such is wrestling life. That wasn't quite it as they brought out the thumbtacks...then it finally took an Air Raid Crash off the apron and through the timekeeper's table to end it. Cruz got the pin on the floor in 16:13...I wondered if the show was over at that point, but they hadn't done an intermission yet and it took place after this match. I didn't know what else was left for the show (other than maybe Wyatt vs. whoever)...odd show structure in that regard.
Brandon Aarons vs. "The Rebel" Jeremy Wyatt: Aarons had a competitive showing, but the fans were a bit burned out after the hardcore match...I can imagine it would be tough to follow that. Wyatt targeted the leg (as has been his tradition lately) and won with the Stretch Muffler in 9:54...Wyatt continued his bad-mouthing of ringside fans and that brought out Crystal(speaking for the company with Bland injured). She announced an impromptu six-man tag for the main event...
Outtkast, Billy McNeil, & "The Yoga Master" Mike Sydal vs. Heavyweight Champion "The King Of Chaos" Ricky Cruz, "Ironman" Ken Kasa, & "The Rebel" Jeremy Wyatt(w/ Travis Cook): Again, it seemed like the crowd had already peaked with the hardcore match...the fans were pretty good for the first half of the show. With all the heels win on the show, it was a good move to have a face win at the end...Wyatt accidentally BELTed Cruz and Outtkast got a pin on the champion in 15:32. Don't know if that means Outtkast will get another title shot in the near future, but at least it evened the score from earlier in the night.
Hard to believe we're halfway through 2014 already...the scene is pretty busy, but there are a few gaps in the month of July. There are no indy shows next weekend due to the 4th Of July holiday...the following Saturday, Dynamo has the "Stroke Ain't No Joke" benefit in Glen Carbon and MMWA has their annual "Christmas In July" event with the big best-of-seven series. I may check out the WLW show at the Troy(MO) fairgrounds on Thursday the 10th.
Good night, good luck, and #yaywrestling.

Anarchy Wrestling TV #439
-"The Technician" Todd Sexton & "Hit For Hire" Bobby Moore d. Los Laredos(Laredo Kid I & Laredo Kid II) to retain the Tag Team Titles when Sexton pinned Laredo Kid II with a Perfectplex (6:45 aired). The Urban Assault Squad(Shadow Jackson & Nemesis) came out to challenge the new titleholders afterwards...Moore wasn't interested, but Sexton accepted the challenge. As Shadow & Nemesis turned to leave, Moore took a cheapshot at Shadow...that didn't do much more than raise the ire of the UAS duo. As Sexton and Moore left the ring, The Washington Bullets(Jon & Trey Williams) attacked Sexton; Moore had already gone through the curtain and didn't realize what was happening.
-In an interview outside the building, The Bullets vowed to regain their titles...
-"The Seven-Figure Deal" Ace Rockwell d. The Vandal after the Aces High(Diamond Cutter) (7:13 aired).
-"The Temptation" Shaun Tempers(w/ Agent/Attorney Jeff G. Bailey) d. "The Encore" Kevin Blue to retain the Young Lions' Title; Bailey pushed Blue off the turnbuckles behind the referee's back and Tempers got the pin with feet on the ropes (8:52 aired).
-"The Modern Classic" B.J. Hancock d. "The Lethal Dose" Stryknyn in a no-DQ match; Miss Rachael was banned from ringside. Joey Rhymer broke up the Tourniquet(Anaconda Vise) but "Wild" Billy Buck fought off Rhymer; Hancock took out Buck but turned around into Stryknyn's spear for the finish (12:21 aired).

-Commentator: Larry Matysik.
-Larry did a sitdown interview with manager Big Daddy; he is bringing in a masked newcomer named Red River Jack...
-Travis Cook gloated over his recent accomplishments, then turned his attention to Cornette at the merchandise table. Cornette entered the ring with tennis racket in hand, leading to a lengthy war of words between the two managers. Cornette put down the racket and threatened to deal with Cook personally, but Ken Kasa hit the ring to hold Cornette back. Cook prepared to attack Cornette, but Heath Hatton hit the ring to fight off Kasa! With the champion out of the picture, Cornette whacked Cook down to the mat with his famous tennis racket!
-Flashback to October 1983: Dominic DeNucci, Tom Pritchard, & Spike Huber vs. Tully Blanchard, Killer Karl Kox, & Eric Embry; Huber and Pritchard double-bodyslammed Embry and DeNucci got the pin after a big splash.

Saturday DPW Results From Glen Carbon, IL
-Billy McNeil d. "The Alternative" Brandon Gallagher after a top-rope double-kneedrive to the back of the head.
-"The Fittest Wrestler On Earth" Mark Sterling d. Jackal after an Air Raid Crash.
-"Showtime" Bradley Charles d. Mike Outlaw via TKO.
-The Professionals(Shawn Santel & Mauler McDarby)(w/ Travis Cook) defeated Dash Rando & Cavana Fantastic(aka C.J. McManus); Rocket Mapache was out of action and Fantastic volunteered to be Rando's partner. However, Fantastic walked out on Rando late in the match; McDarby pinned Rando after a Mafia Kick from Santel followed by a running boot to the face by McDarby. After the match, Fantastic re-entered the ring and dropped Rando with a superkick.
-"Ironman" Ken Kasa(w/ Travis Cook) d. Mike Sydal; Cook grabbed Sydal's yoga mat away from him and the referee had to get between the two. In the chaos, Ricky Cruz threw Kasa's spiked facemask into the ring and Kasa hit Sydal with it for the tainted win.
-"The King Of Chaos" Ricky Cruz d. Outtkast in a Hardcore Chaos Match to retain the Heavyweight Title. Outtkast was busted open after Cruz raked a cheese grater across his forehead. Ricky handcuffed Outtkast to the ropes, which brought Executive Director Mark Bland to the ring to confront Cruz. The referee unlocked the cuffs and Outtkast charged at Cruz, but Cruz sidestepped him and Kast accidentally knocked Bland off the ring apron. Cruz attacked Bland and all of the referees went out to restore order...but Jeremy Wyatt jumped the guardrail and DDTed Outtkast on a stop sign! Cruz got a near-fall after that and another close two-count after a powerbomb onto thumbtacks, but he finally got the win after an Air Raid Crash off the apron and through the timekeeper's table!
-"The Rebel" Jeremy Wyatt d. Brandon Aarons with the leg-over-head half-crab(Stretch Muffler?). After the match, Dynamo co-promoter Crystal Yount ordered Wyatt and his cohorts into a six-man tag match...
-Outtkast, Billy McNeil, & Mike Sydal d. Heavyweight Champion Ricky Cruz, Ken Kasa, & Jeremy Wyatt(w/ Travis Cook). As the referee was attempting to maintain order, Wyatt took a swing at Outtkast with the title belt but hit Cruz by mistake when Outtkast ducked out of the way. Outtkast threw Wyatt out of the ring and got the win with a pinfall on the Dynamo Champion!

WWE Raw
-Luke Harper(w/ Erick Rowan) d. Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso(w/ Jey Uso) after the discus lariat.
-Tag Team Champion Jey Uso(w/ Jimmy Uso) d. Erick Rowan(w/ Luke Harper) after the splash off the top rope. Harper & Rowan beat down the Usos after the match.
-Naomi Night d. Alicia Fox with the Eye Of The Hurricane; Women's Champion Paige Knight and Cameron Lynn did commentary.
-Bo Dallas d. Titus O'Neil with the turnbuckle-walk Bo-dog.
-Triple H announced the remaining competitors for the Money In The Bank ladder match: Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler, Rob Van Dam, and Intercontinental Champion Wade "Bad News" Barrett.
-Seth Rollins d. Rob Van Dam by DQ; Rollins avoided the five-star frog splash and hit the turnbuckle powerbomb and advanced cubstomp, but Dean Ambrose rushed the ring to attack Rollins for the disqualification. Dean demanded to be let into the Money In The Bank ladder match...since he would be showing up at the pay-per-view either way.
-Wade "Bad News" Barrett d. Dolph Ziggler after knocking him out of an attempted Stinger Splash with the Bullhammer, retaining the Intercontinental Title.
-Stephanie McMahon-Helmesly d. Vickie Guerrero(using Eddy's theme music) in a match where you won by throwing your opponent in a pool of mud. Stephanie brought out Alicia, Layla El, and Rose Mendes to fight her battle and Vickie had to throw each woman into the mud, but Stephanie finally grabbed Vickie from behind and threw her into the pool for the "win". Stephanie fired Vickie from her job as Smackdown General Manager but gloated for too long and Vickie threw Stephanie into the mud on her way out.
-Jack Swagger(w/ Zeb Colter) d. Kofi Kingston with the Patriot Lock(anklelock).
-Big E Langston d. Damien Sandow(dressed as Abraham Lincoln) after the Big Ending. Big E responded to an earlier vignette featuring Alexander Rusev and Lana Perry...Lana came out, setting up a sneak attack by Rusev.
-John Cena, U.S. Champion Sheamus O'Shaunessy, & Roman Reigns d. Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Antonio Cesaro, & Alberto Del Rio(w/ Paul Heyman) in a three-on-four handicap match when Sheamus pinned Cesaro after the Brogue Kick. Kane cleaned house after the match and Triple H announced that Kane had been added to the WWE Title ladder match at the pay-per-view...after which Reigns speared Kane to end the show.
SICW Special Comment
It was another full house for SICW...that's par for the course nowadays, but probably helped by the presence of "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase as a special guest. He was being inducted into the St. Louis Wrestling Hall Of Fame along with posthumous inductions of Rip Hawk and Wilbur Snyder. A lot of people were in line for autographs before the show and during the first intermission. The estimated attendance was 325.
Unfortunately, two of my friends didn't have the best experience with the autograph signing. None of us were too clear on the setup and pricing; Jim Cornette was particularly sociable last month and I think we were expecting the same setup. It sounded like DiBiase had a busy weekend and he seemed fairly subdued during the in-ring interview(I had trouble hearing him over the fan chatter), so maybe he was tired...I don't know. My friends left before the official start of the show, sorry to say. I only briefly got to meet him and shake his hand late in the show, so I'm probably not the best judge on this matter.
Your ring announcer was Drew Abbenhaus; your referees were Keith Smith Jr. and Jay King.
Joker vs. Dark Secret: This wasn't exactly a fast-paced opener, but obviously it wasn't supposed to be. They kept it basic(with a handful of comedy spots) and it worked for what it was. Joker showed some rare technical acumen with a backslide pin in 5:28.
Outtkast vs. Ax (Allwardt): It was a surprise to see Outtkast make his SICW debut, though his tag partner Shorty Biggs has been a part of the roster for a while. I figured Ax would win since he's got more tenure with the group. Outtkast showed a bit more of his technical side in this match and looked good doing it. Kast's streak of hitting his corkscrew moonsault senton ended at one...after that, Ax got the win with the small package driver at 7:21.
"The Old School Warrior" Chaz Wesson vs. Frankie "The Thumper" Wyatt: Some of the top matches on the card seemed to have the vibe of old guard vs. new guard and this was one of those matches. This was one of a few matches on the show that was oddly short(i.e. under five minutes). Doing a sunset flip off the top rope seemed like a bad idea in theory on an opponent as large as Frank Wyatt...but it worked in this case and Chaz got the win in 3:26.
Promoter Herb Simmons interviewed Ted DiBiase in the ring prior to the first intermission; as I noted, I had trouble hearing him so hopefully the TV airing will be a bit more audible. He brought out the Million Dollar Belt for in-ring pictures during the first intermission.
"Dirdey" Jake Dirden vs. Mike Outlaw: If I'm not mistaken, this was Dynamo trainee Outlaw's pro debut. He hit some good-looking token offense, but otherwise it was fairly one-sided in favor of Dirden. Dirden had some near-misses against Classic Champion Ken Kasa in recent months...perhaps he'll go back after that belt in the near future. Outlaw escaped a chokeslam attempt but got caught in the Asiatic Spike for the submission in 2:01.
"The Don Mega" Shorty Biggs vs. "The Iceman" (Howard Moritz): This initially threatened to break down into a dance contest, but it turned into a more standard contest after that. Hadn't seen much of Iceman until recently but he's an entertaining character. Shorty won via Shortcut in 7:45.
"Night Train/Great One/Gorgeous" Gary Jackson vs. Bull Bronson(w/ Travis Cook): Due to multiple unprovoked(*snicker*) attacks on his person as of late, Travis has hired Bronson as a bodyguard of sorts. Gary had an uphill battle in this one; it was similar to the match he had with Barackus at MMWA in that regard. Wasn't sure who would win this one...as it turned out, it ended in a DQ when Bronson threw Gary over the top rope in 4:31. This issue isn't over yet...
Big Jim Hoffarth vs. Flash Flanagan: This stemmed from Hoffarth running off Flanagan during last month's Ron Powers-Ricky Cruz match; Flanagan eliminated Hoffarth from the battle royal at the end of the night, then Hoffarth pulled Flash to the floor to eliminate HIM. It didn't take long for this one to break down into a fight...it went out of the ring and back into the ring a few times. Finally they took it to the floor for good and they were both counted out at 3:32. This feud...MUST CONTINUE~!
Heath Hatton & "The Man Of Tomorrow" Daniel Eads vs. Classic Champion "Ironman" Ken Kasa & "The King Of Chaos" Ricky Cruz(w/ Travis Cook): Hatton had a few previous run-ins with Kasa and he had a non-title bout with Ricky when they were both fan favorites. I think Eads faced Kasa at the Belleville show last year. This main event was a case of the young guns targeting the established guys in the promotion...it was a solid tag match and the fans were into it. Eads took out Ricky with a step-up Superman Punch outside the ring, then Hatton took Kasa down into the Crippler Crossface...with Cruz out of position to break up the hold, Kasa was forced to tap out in 16:23...Kasa is still the champion, but Hatton has put himself in line for a title shot at the July show.
It was a very busy weekend in independent wrestling...Ring Of Honor had a pay-per-view last night with Michael Elgin finally defeating Adam Cole for the Heavyweight Title. Amidst rumors of several departures in the near future, it looks like they're making an effort to elevate some people. CHIKARA had three shows in two days and AAW had a show as well. More locally, NWA Central States Championship Wrestling had a show in Fort Leonard Wood on Saturday night...haven't seen full results yet, but I believe Elvis Aliaga regained the NWA Missouri Title on that show.

-Most of the show was clips to build up the Best In The World pay-per-view on Sunday...
-Joined in progress: Shinsuke Nakamura d. "Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen after a series of flying knee strikes. Steen acted like he was making a goodbye speech, but he was interrupted by "The Last Real Man" Silas Young...he considered Steen the only other "real man" in the locker room, but trashed him for leaving. When Silas insulted Steen's family, Kevin went after him and it turned into a pull-apart brawl.
-Clips: "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin fought Michael Bennett(w/ Maria Kanellis) to a no-contest in a no-DQ match. Elgin set up a piece of guardrail across two chairs and set up to spiral-bomb Bennett onto the railing, but Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole ran in to hit Elgin with his title belt. Bennett held up Elgin for Cole to BELT again, then they zip-tied him to the ropes and cut his hair. Cole looked to finish the job with a chair, but MsChif(Elgin's wife) ran in to stand between them. Bennett held back MsChif and Cole threatened to hit MsChif with the chair, but instead took her down into a figure-four leglock. Elgin was finally freed from the zip-ties after Cole, Bennett, and Maria had left...and he took out his frustration on the ringside security crew.
SICW Wrestling Explosion
-Commentator: Larry Matysik.
-"Ironman" Ken Kasa(w/ Travis Cook) d. "Night Train/Gorgeous/Great One" Gary Jackson(w/ Big Daddy) to retain the Classic Title; Travis was handcuffed to Big Daddy. Travis managed to trip up Jackson at one point, so Big Daddy retaliated by tripping Kasa. Kasa and Jackson traded pinning combinations, but Kasa was able to counter a Texas Cloverleaf attempt into a small package for the three-count.
-Larry did a sitdown interview with Jim Cornette about the history of St. Louis wrestling. Cornette joked about watching every bit of wrestling he could via satellite and tape-trading back in the day...and no matter how you feel about it sometimes, it pulls you back in. Cornette joked that promoter Herb Simmons was the mayor of a town so small that when he checked into the hotel, they stole HIS towel...bwahahaha.
-Flashback to April 1981: Kerry Von Erich d. Mike Blood with a stomach claw.

That brought out Dean Ambrose...he rushed the ring to attack Rollins, but Kane entered the picture and Seth returned fire. Ambrose was able to fight off the two and get away before the numbers caught up to him.
-Alexander Rusev(w/ Lana Perry) d. Santino Marella with the Accolade(camel clutch) (0:25).
-Naomi Night(w/ Cameron Lynn) d. Women's Champion Paige Knight(non-title) after an Eye Of The Hurricane (5:13). Cameron celebrated like she had won the match herself...Paige offered a handshake to Naomi but Cameron shoved Paige down. Paige attacked Cameron and threw her out of the ring while Naomi just watched the fight happen...after that, Naomi did shake hands with Paige.
-Bray Wyatt & The Wyatt Family(Luke Harper & Erick Rowan) d. U.S. Champion Sheamus O'Shaunessy & Tag Team Champions Jimmy & Jey Uso when Wyatt pinned Jimmy Uso after the Sister Abigail (10:12 aired).
TNA XPlosion
-Commentators: Mike Tenay & Jeremy Borash.
-Angelina Love(w/ Velvet Sky) d. Brittany Garrett to retain the Women's Title; Brittany knocked Velvet off the ring apron, but turned around into the Botox Injection(pump kick) from Angelina for the win (5:05).
AAW Pro Wrestling TV #15
-Commentators: Dave Prazak & Derek St. Holmes, Esq.
-Earlier today: "The Money" Matt Cage and Marek Brave had a verbal exchange to set up their Heritage Title match. Knight Wagner(w/ Justice Jones) added his two cents, saying he had to fight his way up the ladder while Marek was handed his opportunity on a silver platter.
-"The Latin Lover" Tony Rican & "The Handlebar Haberdasher" Marion Fontaine d. "The Experience" Markus Crane & "The Waterboy" Mike Horning (w/ unnamed cornerman) when Rican pinned Horning after an inverted DDT (6:53). Tweek Phoenix(w/ Kevin Harvey & Nikki Mayday) attacked Rican after the match, leading to Harvey throwing a fireball in Rican's face.
-"The Money" Matt Cage d. Marek Brave to retain the Heritage Title; Cage brought the title belt into the ring and the referee took it away, but that allowed Cage to mulekick Brave in the groin. Cage followed up with a Codebreaker for the win (8:15).
-Backstage: Rhino is ready for war.
-"The War Machine" Rhino d. Tweek Phoenix(w/ Kevin Harvey & Nikki Mayday). Rhino took out Nikki with a piledriver and then Gored Harvey through a table in the corner; Rhino went on to pin Phoenix after a standard-issue Gore (16:19).
-Matt Cage bragged about tonight's win in particular and his entire title reign in general...

Anarchy Wrestling TV #437
-Heavyweight Champion Mike Posey starts the show to brag about his title win and insist on a proper introduction from ring announcer Jonathan Feltner. He claimed to be a fighting champion and said he would do a random draw to determine his next challenger. Feltner drew the name of "The Priest Of Punishment" Mikael Judas, so Posey made him redo it...and this time he got The Laredo Kid.
-Corey Hollis d. "The Encore" Kevin Blue after the elevated DDT (8:31 aired).
-The Urban Assault Squad(Shadow Jackson & Nemesis) said they had gotten a bit soft with the fans on their side lately...but no more.
-Agent/Attorney Jeff G. Bailey enlightened us in the presence of the newly-expanded Elite: Young Lions' Champion "The Temptation" Shaun Tempers, "The Deadly Sin" Se7en, and "The Being Of Inconceivable Horror" Iceberg. Iceberg has returned to Bailey's employ(Jeff G. was the one who provided his weapon last week)...Se7en disposed of "Wrestling's Most Dangerous Weapon" Geter, but Lars Manderson thought he could step up to the plate a few weeks ago so Bailey called him out.
-"The Deadly Sin" Se7en(w/ Jeff G. Bailey, Shaun Tempers, & Iceberg) d. Lars Manderson(w/ "The Stray Cat" Brodie Ray Chase) after the chokeslam (4:16). Brodie saved Manderson from a post-match chokeslam but was overwhelmed by the Elite trio...notably Manderson walked away from the ring as the beatdown was happening. "The Seven-Figure Deal" Ace Rockwell tried to help but the Elite still had the numbers advantage...until Geter hit the ring and the Elite members retreated.
-"The Lethal Dose" Stryknyn d. "The Modern Classic" B.J. Hancock(w/ Miss Rachael) by DQ when Hancock blatantly hit Stryknyn with Rachael's shoe (joined in progress; 4:27 aired).
-"The Technician" Todd Sexton & "Hit For Hire" Bobby Moore d. The Washington Bullets(Jon & Trey Williams) to win the Tag Team Titles. The Bullets tried to walk away from the match but they were forced back to the ring by Shadow Jackson & Nemesis. Sexton & Moore were surprisingly on the same page, but Sexton accidentally superkicked Moore when Trey moved out of the way. When Moore recovered from the kick, he walked away from his corner and left Sexton in a two-on-one situation. The referee was knocked down when Trey broke up a sleeperhold on Jon...The Bullets hit the Marion Barry(backcracker by Jon followed by Diamond Cutter by Trey) but there was no one to count a pin. Shadow & Nemesis re-entered the picture and Shadow leveled Jon Williams with one of the title belts; after that, Shadow took out Trey with a Stone Cold Stunner and Nemesis added a running senton. Sexton recovered first and draped an arm over Trey...and the referee recovered in time to make the three-count (joined in progress; 15:53 aired).
-Next week: Mike Posey vs. The Laredo Kid for the Heavyweight Title, plus Geter/Rockwell/Brodie vs. Tempers/Iceberg/Se7en.
Special Comment Extra
At any rate, I meant to touch on the MMWA show in the main commentary but it honestly slipped my mind. The schedule has been so busy lately that shows just occur on the same night sometimes. Last Saturday evening was a notable example as the area talent was spread out across four different events(Dynamo, Broadway, WLW, Metro Pro) with very little crossover.
Broadway has built up to a big July show where they'll do a best-of-seven series of matches; if the Elitism side wins the series, Sean Orleans will become the new Commissioner and Jim Harris will be out of the company. Two wrestlers made returns after long absences: LaMarcus Clinton and Johnny(Johnathon?) Zulu. A.J. Williams & Da'Marius Jones won the Tag Team Titles from Jackson Whitechapel & Sean Orleans. Heavyweight champion Brandon Espinosa's been having trouble with rookie Everett Connors; he lost to him by countout in May(thanks in part to Brian James) and was surprisingly pinned by Connors in this month's tag match.
Ace Hawkins and Andrew Wilder continued their feud and will meet in a ladder match in July(first time ever at Broadway!). Moondog Rover will get a shot at T.V. Champion Lynn Mephisto in a dog collar match. Barackus(out with bronchitis this month) will defend the Survivor Title against Dave Osborne in a best-of-three-falls match. Those are three matches out of the best-of-seven series...don't yet know how the Heavyweight and Tag Titles will fit into things. With LMC back in action along with Chase King, perhaps the former Tag Champs who never lost the belts in the ring will challenge the new titleholders? James, Gary Jackson, and even Connors have legitimate claims to a shot at Espinosa...so they could go in a few different directions with that.
One of these days, I'll finally get to a WLW show...it seems like there's always something else happening when they run in the general St. Louis area. I saw a Thursday night show on the upcoming event listing, so maybe that'll be it.
Have heard a lot of good things about Metro Pro and have seen a few of their YouTube programs...don't know if they'll run any more shows in the near future, though. Saturday's show seemed like a one-time deal after their shutdown last year. Maybe they'll do more reunion shows down the line...don't know.
SICW is back in East Carondelet this coming weekend with Ted DiBiase as the special guest. Bobby Heenan is still recovering from his recent arm injury and I haven't heard anything definite about when he'll be rescheduled to appear. The lineup seems to have the theme of "old guard vs. new guard" with established guys facing relative newcomers to the promotion. We've got Classic Champion Ken Kasa teaming with Ricky Cruz(something that will not improve Ricky's mood) against Heath Hatton and Daniel Eads, Gary Jackson vs. Bull Bronson, and Chaz Wesson vs. Frankie "The Thumper" Wyatt as well as Big Jim Hoffarth vs. Flash Flanagan and Shorty Biggs vs. "The Iceman" Howard Moritz.
NWA Central States Championship Wrestling will have their first show in the immediate St. Louis area in a while as they'll be in Fort Leonard Wood, MO on Saturday. A bit has changed since I last saw them: The Central States Title went from Shane Somers to G.Q. Smooth back to Shane Somers, who is now a rulebreaker under Garrett Williams' management. Evan "Money" Morris dropped the NWA Affliction Title to Mitch Johnson, only to rebound by capturing the vacated NWA Illinois Title in a battle royal. The NWA Missouri Title was won in a battle royal by Elvis Aliaga, only to be re-vacated due to a controversial finish: Aliaga had been eliminated but the referees missed it, leading to Elvis re-entering the match and eventually winning.
Saturday's show will feature Money defending against David DeLorean, Mitch Johnson defending against former referee "Mad Hatter" Damon Buchanan, and a four-way match for the NWA Missouri Title. The four-way was scheduled to feature the final four participants in the battle royal, but Bradley Charles was taken out in favor of Brian Breaker; the other three participants are scheduled to be Aliaga, Jack Gamble, and Michael Magnuson.
Once again: Good night, good luck, and #yaywrestling.

WWE Raw
-Seth Rollins d. Dolph Ziggler by DQ when Dean Ambrose ran in to attack Rollins after he hit the advanced curbstomp on Ziggler. Chief Operating Officer Triple H ordered Ambrose into an impromptu match...
-Intercontinental Champion Wade "Bad News" Barrett d. Dean Ambrose by countout(non-title); Rollins interfered and Ambrose chased him through the audience, but that led to Barrett beating the ten-count back into the ring.
-U.S. Champion Sheamus O'Shaunessy(w/ Tag Team Champions Jimmy & Jey Uso) d. Bray Wyatt(w/ Wyatt Family) by DQ(non-title) when Harper & Rowan interfered as Sheamus was setting up the Brogue Kick. Sheamus and the Usos got the better of the post-match brawl with the aid of a conveniently-present ladder.
-Alexander Rusev(w/ Lana Perry) d. Heath Slater with the Accolade(camel clutch).
-Adam Rose & Summer Rae(w/ Rosebuds) d. Johnny Fandango & Layla El when Rose pinned Fandango after the Party Foul(snapmare driver). Special guest Kevin Hart did commentary and partied with the Rosebuds afterwards.
-Roman Reigns won a battle royal to qualify for the WWE Title ladder match. Eliminations: Damien Sandow, Santino Marella, Matador Diego, Matador Fernando, Xavier Woods, Titus O'Neil, Sin Cara, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler, Johnny Fandango, Ryback, Curtis Axel, Rob Van Dam, Intercontinental Champion Wade "Bad News" Barrett, Big E Langston, Bo Dallas, and Alexander Rusev.
-Women's Champion Paige Knight d. Cameron Lynn(w/ Naomi Night)(non-title) with the scorpion crosslock.
-Goldust & "Stardust"(Cody Rhodes in Goldust-esque ring attire) d. Ryback & Curtis Axel when Stardust pinned Axel after hitting Diamond Dust.
-John Cena d. Kane in a stretcher match to qualify for the WWE Title ladder match; Seth Rollins and Randy Orton interfered but Dean Ambrose ran in to fight them off.
Dynamo Special Comment
One of the big questions of the evening regarded the amount of available talent. With Metro Pro, WLW, and MMWA also running on Saturday night, several key players were elsewhere. Only two people worked both Dynamo and MMWA(Ace Hawkins & Everett Connors).
Dynamo is slowly building an audience for the Fenton shows, though the promotion seems to be slightly behind the other area groups in terms of attendance numbers. There are plenty of possible reasons: The long layoff for soccer season in Glen Carbon and starting two new venues(not to mention the Tuesday night slot for Off Broadway). Either way, I wish I knew the answer to that question.
Not much was announced ahead of time; until a day or so before the event, I only knew about the Cruz-Dirden title rematch. I saw a few more matches on social media: Aarons-Gallagher, Bumrush Brothers vs. Viking War Party, and Evan "Money" Morris vs. Jack Gamble. Money wasn't at the show, so Gamble faced Shorty Biggs, Outtkast went one-on-one with Alexandre Rudolph, and Jake Parnell was in a triple threat match with Rocket Mapache and Everett Connors.
Your ring announcers were Chris Roedel & Luke Roberts, your referees were Patrick Hook and Keith Smith Jr.
"The Bosnian Warchild" Spi-Ral vs. Ace Hawkins: Spi-Ral enters the Midwest wrestling scene with an interesting resume; he's a multi-faceted competitor with martial arts experience. Going by a Google search, he's also gone by "S.P.I." and the name is an acronym for "Streets Produced an Icon, Raw And Legit". He's competed for Zero-One in Japan and has also wrestled in Puerto Rico. Long story short: He's not a total newbie. Thought he had a good showing for his first appearance in the area...look forward to seeing more of him in the future. The finish saw the referee stop Ace from using the ring bell as a weapon, but Hawkins kicked Spi-Ral in the Universal Weak Point as the ref was returning the bell to the timekeeper's table. Ace got the pinfall in 10:25.
"The Littlest Viking" Jake Parnell vs. Rocket Mapache vs. Everett Connors: This was a battle of three fan favorites...also, I think this was Connors' first triple threat match. I've heard mixed reviews on Parnell's viking character; it works when he's playing off Rudolph, but the "Gentleman" character might fit better when he's in a heel role. Also, I'm wondering if the furry boots are a drag on his 450 Splash finisher. The match was solid enough for an all-fan-favorite triple threat...Parnell pinned Mapache after the aforementioned 450 in 5:18.
Brandon Aarons vs. "The Alternative" Brandon Gallagher: I wish Dynamo had more undercard storylines. Gallagher had the feud with Dan Walsh, but after he got a DQ win in their first encounter, it seems like he's hit the skids himself. That's part of my reasoning for reviving the light heavyweight division: They have plenty of guys in that weight class who aren't in tag teams and aren't in a position to challenge for the main belt. (I'll get to the tag team division.) Aarons got the win with a unique finisher(pumphandle setup into a half-nelson released German suplex?) in 8:25.
Executive Director Mark Bland hyped the show and was confronted by Heavyweight Champion Ricky Cruz. The segment had the purpose of establishing that Jeremy Wyatt and Lucy Mendez were both absent(barred from the building) after they played a major role in Ricky's title win. Bland also made it a no-DQ match, but Cruz said that he didn't mind that style of match either...
"The Don Mega" Shorty Biggs vs. Jack Gamble(w/ Travis Cook): The Black Hand Warriors(Michael Magnuson & David DeLorean) were absent as they were at WLW; they're Tag Champs for both promotions. As such, Shorty got to continue his feud with the Travis Cook Organization(such as it is); Shorty was even managed by Cook for a brief time in his GCW days. I'd seen Gamble work as a rulebreaker in the past; in fact, he and Jon Webb were in that role against Shorty and Outtkast at one of the FIST shows at Pop's last year. Travis' distraction allowed Gamble to superkick Shorty for the win in 11:49 (that was the last match time I got).
Crystal Yount thanked the fans for their support and hyped the June 28th Glen Carbon event as Dynamo's anniversary show. She brought Evil Jim to the ring and let the fans know that Sunday was his birthday, leading to everyone singing Happy Birthday to him...heh.
Outtkast vs. "The American Viking" Alexandre Rudolph(w/ Jake Parnell): Not sure why Shorty wasn't in Outtkast's corner with Parnell in Rudolph's corner. As previously stated, this was supposed to be a tag bout...perhaps the Viking War Party will be positioned for a run at the Black Hand Warriors in the near future. Missouri licensing and alternate commitments seem to limit the tag team options, unfortunately. History was made as Outtkast actually hit the corkscrew moonsault senton(I swear the opponent almost ALWAYS rolls out of the way of that) and it was good enough for the victory.
"The King Of Chaos" Ricky Cruz vs. "Dirdey" Jake Dirden, no-DQ match for the Heavyweight Title: This definitely lived up to the expected environment. Cruz's tumble out of the ring and through the timekeeper's table happened completely out of the blue. Even in a no-disqualification format, Ricky found a way to weasel out of a fair fight...one of the hardest hits of the match was probably the kendo stick shot on referee Patrick Hook! Both refs AND Mark Bland were down by the time it was over...I believe this was the first time Bland had gotten physically involved in a situation. He's been teasing a return to the ring for a while and I wonder what's planned for the anniversary show. After cuffing Dirden's hands behind his back, Ricky laid him out with the title belt and teased cutting his hair and beard until Shorty and Outtkast ran him off. With the Tag Title situation in question, maybe Shorty and Outtkast have singles gold in mind...at any rate, it was a no-contest but the feud is far from over.
Upcoming:
-Saturday 6/21: SICW in East Carondelet(Ted DiBiase); NWA:CSCW in Fort Leonard Wood
-Saturday 6/28: Dynamo in Glen Carbon; WLW in Troy, MO
Good night, good luck, and #yaywrestling.

-Angelina Love(w/ Velvet Sky) d. Gail Kim to retain the Women's Title by rolling through an O'Connor Roll and holding the tights.

Bully Ray in a Texas Death Match after Rockstar Spud and Dixie Carter interfered; Ray set up Dixie on a table and went for a splash off the apron, but EC3 hit him with a kendo stick and Spud pulled Dixie to safety as Ray crashed through the table. That left Ray unable to answer the ten-count.

Saturday DPW Results From Fenton, MO
-"The Littlest Viking" Jake Parnell won a triple threat match with Everett Connors and Rocket Mapache when he pinned Mapache after a 450 Splash.
-Brandon Aarons d. "The Alternative" Brandon Gallagher after a pumphandle half-nelson suplex.
-Executive Director Mark Bland got into another confrontation with Heavyweight Champion Ricky Cruz; with Jeremy Wyatt and Lucy Mendez both barred from the building, Bland made the night's title match a no-DQ bout.
-Jack Gamble(w/ Travis Cook) d. "The Don Mega" Shorty Biggs; Travis distracted the referee from seeing Shorty get a potential pinfall after a pumphandle driver, allowing Gamble to recover and score the win after a superkick.
-Outtkast d. Alexandre Rudolph(w/ Jake Parnell) after a corkscrew senton off the top rope.
-Ricky Cruz fought "Dirdey" Jake Dirden to a no-contest in a no-DQ match to retain the Heavyweight Title. Things got out of hand almost immediately as Dirden threw Cruz out of the ring and through the timekeeper's table. Chairs were used as weapons by both men and Cruz focused his attack on Dirden's leg, but then Cruz blinded Dirden with powder and handcuffed him to the turnbuckles. Cruz went to town on Dirden with a kendo stick, then superkicked referee Keith Smith Jr. when he tried to stop the assault. The second referee Patrick Hook ran in to take over the match but Cruz wiped him out with the kendo stick, bringing Mark Bland into the ring. Cruz and Bland finally came to blows, but Cruz got the upper hand and trapped Bland in a leglock. Meanwhile, Dirden unscrewed the turnbuckle to get free, then finally rallied against Cruz until Cruz took out his knee again. Ricky cuffed Dirden's hands behind his back and got out a pair of scissors, threatening to cut his hair and beard until Shorty and Outtkast hit the ring with chairs to run him off.
