ROH + SICW

ROH TV

-Hosts:  Larry Mercer & Mandy Leon.  Commentators:  Kelly & Steve Corino.
-Most of the show was clips to build up the Best In The World pay-per-view on Sunday...
-Joined in progress:  Shinsuke Nakamura d. "Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen after a series of flying knee strikes.  Steen acted like he was making a goodbye speech, but he was interrupted by "The Last Real Man" Silas Young...he considered Steen the only other "real man" in the locker room, but trashed him for leaving.  When Silas insulted Steen's family, Kevin went after him and it turned into a pull-apart brawl.
-Clips:  "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin fought Michael Bennett(w/ Maria Kanellis) to a no-contest in a no-DQ match.  Elgin set up a piece of guardrail across two chairs and set up to spiral-bomb Bennett onto the railing, but Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole ran in to hit Elgin with his title belt. Bennett held up Elgin for Cole to BELT again, then they zip-tied him to the ropes and cut his hair. Cole looked to finish the job with a chair, but MsChif(Elgin's wife) ran in to stand between them. Bennett held back MsChif and Cole threatened to hit MsChif with the chair, but instead took her down into a figure-four leglock. Elgin was finally freed from the zip-ties after Cole, Bennett, and Maria had left...and he took out his frustration on the ringside security crew.

SICW Wrestling Explosion

-Commentator:  Larry Matysik.
-"Ironman" Ken Kasa(w/ Travis Cook) d. "Night Train/Gorgeous/Great One" Gary Jackson(w/ Big Daddy) to retain the Classic Title; Travis was handcuffed to Big Daddy. Travis managed to trip up Jackson at one point, so Big Daddy retaliated by tripping Kasa. Kasa and Jackson traded pinning combinations, but Kasa was able to counter a Texas Cloverleaf attempt into a small package for the three-count.
-Larry did a sitdown interview with Jim Cornette about the history of St. Louis wrestling.  Cornette joked about watching every bit of wrestling he could via satellite and tape-trading back in the day...and no matter how you feel about it sometimes, it pulls you back in.  Cornette joked that promoter Herb Simmons was the mayor of a town so small that when he checked into the hotel, they stole HIS towel...bwahahaha.
-Flashback to April 1981:  Kerry Von Erich d. Mike Blood with a stomach claw.
