Commentators: Tim E.D. & Bret(t) Wolverton.
Dan Wilson(w/ Tag Team Champions Azrael & Slim J) enlightens us to start the show...both Hate Junkies are out with injuries thanks to the Urban Assault Squad. The Reverend notes the past issues that he and Azrael had with Slim J, but that feud built mutual respect and they're a strong team as a result. In the words of the great prophet Alice Cooper: No more Mr. Nice Guy.
Seth Delay & Anthony Henry vs. Andrew Pendleton III & The Black Butler: We haven't see much of the masked butler yet. Delay rallies against AP3 after a hot tag but the Butler gets involved, bringing Henry in to dispose of the masked man with a Falcon Arrow backbreaker. In the confusion, Bobby Moore runs out and bashes Delay with his loaded elbowpad...that allows Pendleton to get the tainted three-count.
Wolverton interviews Heavyweight Champion Shaun Tempers about his impending title defense against Brodie Ray Chase...he calls Brodie to the ring to address him in person. Tempers trashes him endlessly, vowing to "put Old Yeller down for good". Chase comments on being in the ring with legends in the business...he may be older, but he's got an experience edge and believes he can beat Tempers for that belt.
Azrael & Slim J(w/ Dan Wilson) vs. The Urban Assault Squad(w/ Jerry Palmer & Miss Rachel) for the Tag Team Titles: The UAS members hide near the entranceway to ambush the champs but it doesn't work out as Slim J dives off the apron onto both Shadow Jackson and Nemesis. Azrael attacks on the floor and Slim tops himself with a huge corkscrew plancha off the top rope! NOW we officially start the match as Azrael & J double-team Shadow in the ring...oh yeah, Palmer-appointed senior official is your referee.
A blind tag to Nemesis turns the tide in a hurry as he mows down Slim with a big clothesline. J tries to fight back but Nemesis plants him with a Dominator and Azrael has to break up the pin attempt. Slim takes a ton of abuse but fights out of a Stunner and finally tags Azrael! Nemesis takes a double-team beating from the champs but Palmer distracts the ref as Azrael has Nemesis pinned. Shadow brings in Palmer's axhandle and nails Azrael across the back...so The Rev takes matters into his own hands and bashes Nemesis with the Staff Of Righteousness before he can make the pin. The Urban Assault Squad wins by DQ, but The Rev saved the belts for his team in the process.

After the match, Darin Childs asked Vega to team up with him in the four-way tag match in the absence of Khris Wolfe...and also issued a challenge to the winner of the Heavyweight Title match for Yuletide Terror. Vega had Yuletide Terror in mind as well, wanting one more match with Davey Richards.
-Medallion Tournament: Billy McNeil d. Jeremy Wyatt via rollup after a sequence of finisher counters.
-Medallion Tournament: Kyle O'Reilly d. Christian Rose with the guillotine hold.

Vega & Childs hit stereo frog splashes on Lacey and Alex, leading to all six opponents dogpiling Lacey and Alex to eliminate them. Dean pinned Childs with a jackknife cradle after Vega accidentally kicked his partner. The Hooligans picked up the win when Devin(I think) pinned Dean after their wheelbarrow/middle-rope flying DDT finisher.
-Dan Walsh fought Darin Corbin to a no-contest to retain the Heavyweight Title; the "battle of morality" featured several unique exchanges, including Walsh rubbing Darin's face in the laps of some female fans(and one male fan). Walsh also used a steel chair in, ahem, innovative fashion. The match fell apart after Corbin hit referee Luke Roberts by mistake, leading to official Eric Davis throwing it out. Several wrestlers had to separate the brawling competitors afterwards.
-Medallion Tournament: Kyle O'Reilly won a six-way dance with A.C.H., Davey Richards, Gerald James, Evan Gelistico, and Billy McNeil to become the first holder of the SLA Medallion. Eliminations: Gelistico pinned McNeil after Billy took A.C.H.'s cradle DDT, Gerald's Michinoku Driver, and finally a Tombstone from Evan. Richards made Gelistico tap out to the anklelock, then O'Reilly pinned Gerald after a brainbuster(assisted by a head kick from Davey). Evan tried to interfere with a chair as Davey and Kyle were fighting but Vega grabbed it away...but then Vega accidentally superkicked Richards when Gelistico moved out of the way, leading to Kyle pinning Davey. A.C.H. & O'Reilly battled and exchanged multiple close calls before Kyle finally got the tapout win with the guillotine.

Superstars & Saturday Morning Slam
WWE Superstars.com
Commentators: Josh Mathews, Scott Stanford, & Matt Striker.
Yoshi Tatsu vs. Heath Slater(w/ Drew McIntyre & Jinder Mahal): Normally this would be a tossup as neither man has won much in a while...but Heath has found some allies in recent weeks. Yoshi rallies but misses the spinning heel kick off the top rope, allowing Slater to capitalize with the inverted DDT for the win. Heath's compatriots dish out a post-match beating for fun, including a Future Shock from Drew and camel clutch from Jinder.
Ted DiBiase Jr. vs. Michael McGillicutty: Battle of third-generation wrestlers here. Stanford notes that McGillicutty's first-ever match in 2007 was a tag team match partnered with...Ted DiBiase Jr.(in WLW, I believe). MM armdrags his way out of a Dream Street attempt, but he gets dropkicked coming off the second rope. McGillicutty maneuvers into a Saito suplex out of nowhere...for two. He goes for another one but it's blocked and DiBiase hits Dream Street on the second try for the victory.
Women's Champion Eve Torres vs. Layla El, non-title: You'd think this would be on one of the actual TV shows. Eve defeated Layla for the belt at Night Of Champions as a last-minute substitute for the mysteriously-attacked Kaitlyn Bonin. The security footage reportedly showed that the attacker had blonde hair...has anyone entertained the possibility that Eve just wore a wig? Layla tries to go aerial but Eve kicks her off the ropes at an opportune time. She utilizes a unique rolling figure-four headscissors but Layla reaches the ropes. Eve kicks her to the mat but misses the moonsault...Layla nails the Chick Kick and scores the non-title win!
Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler(w/ Vickie Guerrero): This is a rematch from Raw where Dolph got the win in a really good matchup...YAY WRESTLING~!, in other words. Kofi comes up limping after a dive off the apron, giving Dolph an opening to knock him back to the floor upon re-entry. FOOT DDT~! Kofi manages to counter a Fameasser attempt with a powerbomb but has trouble making the comeback...still, the Jamaican/Ghanian legsweep sets up the Boom Drop. Ziggler rolls to the apron and snaps Kofi's throat off the top rope, but Kingston hits Trouble In Pardise out of nowhere! Dolph rolls out of the ring to save himself, so Kofi has to go out and get him...he finally gets a cover, but Ziggler literally reaches the bottom rope with his fingertips to escape defeat. Kofi sets up a superplex but Dolph takes a shot at the leg to stop him...and he hits the Zigzag just like that to get the three-count!

WWE NXT6
Commentators: Byron Saxton, S. William Regal, & Jim Ross(for the main event). Ring announcer: Summer Rae.
Bo Dallas vs. Michael McGillicutty: Regal notes that these men's grandfathers probably tangled in the past(Blackjack Mulligan and Larry "The Ax" Hennig, for reference). It's all Bo for a few minutes until MM throws him shoulder-first into the ringpost...McGillicutty slows the pace and works on the arm after that. Dallas manages a re-entry sunset flip for a quick two-count but MM stops him with a single-arm DDT(PSYCHOLOGY~!). Bo still manages a full-fledged rally and nails the bulldog...but foregoes the pin attempt to set up for the spear. MM rolls to the ropes for a break, then gets in a cheapshot as the ref backs Bo off. One Headturner neckbreaker later, McGillicutty gets the win...is the NXT Title in his future?
Paige Knight gets a vignette...she's been training since age thirteen, so she's here to be a fighter and not a "diva". The less you know about her, the better...
Jake Carter vs. Leo Kruger: El Hijo Del Vader seems to be flying solo these days...on the other side of the ring, Kruger's become what Regal refers to as a "big game hunter". The South African dominates the matchup with his new rougher style...Carter manages a brief comeback but misses a Stinger Splash. Kruger capitalizes with the Shortcut(Kruger's End) for the win.
Ryback vs. Aiden English & Francis Rene Dorian(thank you, Mr. Regal): This goes exactly as you might think...heh. English takes an Over-The-Shoulder Boulder Holder and powerbomb, Dorian takes the LARIATOOOOO. Of course, Ryback finishes with the Shellshock on both opponents at once...feed him more.
Richie Steamboat vs. Kassius Ohno: This has been building for a few weeks...YAY WRESTLING~! Steamboat gets several quick pin attempts in a row, sending Ohno to the apron to regroup. Ohno finally turns the tide by introducing Steamboat to the ringpost...yup, that would do it. The momentum shifts a few times as the two trade strikes and near-falls...but Ohno finally stops Richie with IT'S THE BIG FOOT...for two. Steamboat goes to the ropes as Ohno goes for his modified cravate hold...the ref backs Kassius off and Richie nails the superkick! Cover...gets two. Third floor...moonsault misses! Ohno rolls him up...for two! Corner forearm hits but Steamboat ducks the roaring elbow...and small packages him for the flash pin! Ohno blows his top and levels Richie from behind, then hooks him in the cravate hold until the referees hit the ring to restore order.

Styles) and Chavo Guerrero Jr.(w/ Shawn Hernandez); the referee ejected all the tag partners from ringside midway through the bout. Daniels took advantage of miscommunication between Angle and Chavo, pinning Chavo after an STO.
-Tara Varon d. Women's Tag Team Champion O.D.B.(w/ Eric Young) after faking a knee injury and luring O.D.B. into a small package(with a foot on the ropes for illegal leverage).
-Samoa Joe d. Ken Anderson with the Kokita Clutch to win the vacant T.V. Title(Brother Devon forfeited the title upon leaving the company).
-Heavyweight Champion Austin Aries & Jeff Hardy d. Bully Ray & Bobby Roode. Aries passed on a chance to tag Hardy at a key moment, making his own comeback and hitting the brainbuster on Roode. However, Hardy tagged himself into the match as Ray dragged Aries to the floor...Jeff hit the swanton bomb on Roode for the win, but Aries wasn't happy with his partner's actions.

WWE Raw
-Commentators: Jim Ross & Michael Cole.
-Dolph Ziggler(w/ Vickie Guerrero) d. Kofi Kingston(w/ "R-Truth" Ron Killings) after the Zigzag.
-The Prime Time Players d. Zack Ryder & Santino Marella when Titus O'Neil pinned Santino after the Clash Of The Titus.
-Mick Foley paid a visit and got into a confrontation with WWE Champion C.M. Punk...seemingly setting up Punk vs. John Cena at Hell In A Cell.
-Ryback d. Intercontinental Champion Mike Mizanin(non-title) after the Shellshock.
-Wade Barrett d. Tyson Kidd after the Souvenir(short-arm forearm smash).
-Michael Cole did a live satellite interview with the recovering Jerry Lawler...good to hear from him.
-World Champion Sheamus O'Shaunessy, Rey Misterio Jr., & Sin Cara d. Alberto Del Rio, David Otunga, & Ricardo Rodriguez when Sin Cara pinned Rodriguez after a springboard swanton bomb.
-The fans voted for "Team Hell No" as the name for Tag Team Champions Kane & Daniel Bryan...but they were immediately attacked from behind by Damien Sandow & Cody Rhodes(now calling themselves "Team Rhodes Scholars").
-Women's Champion Eve Torres & Beth Phoenix d. Layla El & Alicia Fox when Eve blind-tagged into the match and pinned Alicia after the snap neckbreaker. Kaitlyn Bonin came out and said she saw security footage of her attacker at the PPV...didn't see a face but the hair was blonde. That rules out Eve...she immediately turns on Beth and lays her out with her finisher.
-Brodus Clay(w/ Funkadactyls) vs. Lord Tensai ended in a no-contest when The Big Show came out to PUNCH both Tensai and Brodus.
-Cena and Punk had an in-ring confrontation to close the show...Cena's arm is in a sling from recent elbow surgery but he brought an equalizer in the form of a lead pipe and slugged Punk in the gut with it to drive him out of the ring. As Punk was leaving the building, he took a cheapshot at Foley...only to be confronted by Ryback.

MMWA Special Comment
Got a few things that need to be addressed...
The tournament lineup was shuffled a bit...T.V. Champion Dave Vaughn had Missouri licensing issues and Heavyweight Champion Gary Jackson opted out of the tournament to defend his title. The Lumberjacks were added to the tourney lineup in their place. It was noted to me that the champion participating in a tournament for a title shot didn't make much sense(even with the "champ can hand-pick his next opponent" stipulation).
The outdoor show was scheduled to start at 7:00 but didn't begin until around 7:30...the lighting wasn't that great as it was basically the nearby lamppost and a couple of spotlights(one on the ringside table and one on the ring truck). On top of that, the parking lot wasn't level so the ring was slightly tilted...wonderful.
Unfortunately, problems with the ring ropes happened again...and this is the fourth time(at least) this has happened with this ring in recent months. The top turnbuckle snapped loose when Jake Dirden whipped Gary Jackson into the corner during their match. To the credit of the on-site ring crew, they were able to quickly fix things up(and Dirden grabbed a chinlock to stall for time). However, this is becoming a major issue for the safety of the wrestlers...Ricky Cruz could have been hurt badly when it happened in East Carondelet. Hopefully they'll do something to improve the ring condition...or even get a totally new ring if necessary.
Okay, the show itself...Ben Simon had some sprinting to do as the microphone and ring bell were a short distance from the ring area. He did the announcing from there, went down to the ring to watch each match, then dashed back up to the microphone table to announce the winners.
"All Summer Long" by Kid Rock ranks pretty high on the list of least fitting theme music when it's used by Ricky Cruz...just saying.
With the tournament brackets set up the way they were, the finals could have potentially been Lumberjack Abe vs. Lumberjack Gabe...yeah.
Haven't seen a match end with a sideslam in quite a while...R.I.P. Dino Bravo.
So Abe was a face against Osborne(though Gabe and Dave Hebner(!) still took cheapshots)...but then Gabe was a heel against Jimmy D...but the Lumberjacks still slapped hands with the fans...I have a headache.
The championship committee has been in an odd mood lately...at South Broadway, Jimmy D got a title shot despite not having the best win/loss record. On this night, the debuting Dirden got a title shot...go figure.
Cruz vs. Gabe featured one of the fastest three-counts in recent memory, to the point where practically everyone thought it was only two.
The tournament could have gone in a few different directions...Osborne's win was a slight surprise. I guess it qualifies as a vote of confidence that he's sticking around...he's still got the Battle Royal Title too. Honestly, I wouldn't shed too many tears if they just leave the Tag Team Titles on the shelf for a while.
Next week is St. Louis Anarchy...how does October look?

Haven't heard anything from MECW since the cancellation of their September 1st show.
NWA Anarchy TV #347
Commentators: Tim E.D. & Brett Wolverton.
Miss Rachel introduces General Manager Jerry Palmer, Jeff G. Bailey, and the NWA Elite...lucky us. We have Heavyweight Champion Shaun Tempers, T.V. Champion B(r)o Newsom, The Urban Assault Squad(Shadow Jackson & Nemesis) and Se7en in attendance. Bailey addresses Billy Buck's request for another shot at Bo...Buck had receied a title shot, but only RIGHT after a tough match with Jacoby Boykins which allowed Newsom to score an easy win. Bailey says that Buck will have to beat Se7en to earn another shot...then Palmer grants the Urban Assault Squad a shot at the Tag Team Titles. How gracious of him.
Johnny Dangerous vs. Jacob Ashworth: Dangerous has picked up a few wins lately but Ashworth is fresh off a recent heel turn. Dangerous goes aerial and hits a nice tornado DDT, but Ashworth catches an aerial move to deliver a fallaway slam. Ashworth finishes with the short-arm clothesline...wow, that move's making a comeback lately. Ashworth continues his assault until Anthony Henry makes the save and they brawl back to the dressing room.
Joey Rhymer vs. Bobby Moore: Rhymer decides on the duck-and-run strategy...that works for a little while but not for long. Rhymer gets a flurry of offense but the size difference is too much to overcome. The referee checks on Rhymer and Moore loads up the elbowpad...so Seth Delay comes out and nails him with the brass knuckles! The official didn't see the interference...so Rhymer takes what is offered and hits a swanton bomb for the surprise win! Delay and Rhymer decide a post-match hip swivel is in order...why not?
Vandal & Najasism vs. Tommy Penirelli & C.B. Suave: For those who came in late, those are the artists formerly known as Tommy Daniels & C.B. Gibson. Suave does a good job with the pre-match promo, saying that Young Lions' Champion Adrian Hawkins is resting after his last successful title defense and John Johnson is on the phone with Hollywood agents. Penirelli speaks well himself...don't know if they really need a manager then, heh.
Oh yeah, wrestling match. Vandal & Najasism turn things around after an early-match attack and show some impressive teamwork...then Najasism nails a huge no-hands somersault plancha onto both men! However, the good guys go to the well once too often and Najasism's frog splash hits the knees of Penirelli. Now the heel team takes over...but Penirelli tries going to the ropes and gets caught with a springboard enzuigiri! Tags on both sides...and Vandal goes to town on Suave! Zigzag gets two and Vandal tags Najasism back in to finish...but Penirelli takes out Vandal as Najasism hits the Macho Elbow on Suave...for two. Najasism is left in a two-on-one situation and Suave gets the three-count after a Rockerplex(vertical suplex by Penirelli with a cross-body off the top by Suave, for you young'uns).
Billy Buck vs. Se7en(w/ Jeff G. Bailey): Buck has an uphill battle here, but winning is the only way he can get another shot at Bo Newsom's T.V. Title. Billy clips the knee and goes after the leg...good strategy, but Se7en is still able to power out of his predicament. Buck goes back to the leg and wraps it around the ringpost, but Se7en blocks the Buck Wild superkick and powerslams him with authority. Se7en chokes and pummels Buck in the corner and referee Dee Byers(NOT Brent Wiley) has trouble convincing him to back off. Se7en throws Buck to the floor where Bailey gets in a few quick stomps...why not?
Buck barely beats the ten-count but has trouble making a full comeback...but he clips the knee again, that'll work. Superkick attempt is blocked again and Se7en sets up for his chokeslam finisher, but Buck goes up and over into a sunset flip and transitions into a figure-four leglock! Bailey has to reach into the ring and rake the eyes of Buck to avert disaster. Se7en Brogue-Kicks Buck over the top rope and follows him out...but another Brogue Kick hits ringpost and Buck beats the count for the win!
Newsom quickly hits the ring and takes a swing with the title belt, but Buck avoids it and superkicks him! The referee suddenly decides this is an impromptu match and rings the bell...
Bo Newsom vs. Billy Buck for the T.V. Title: Cover, pin...new champ? Hey, last time the title shot came RIGHT after Buck earned it in a match, so why not? Nope...Jerry Palmer comes out with senior official Brent Wiley and says Buck did earn a title shot...but not tonight, so Bo Newsom is still the champion.
Next week: Azrael & Slim J vs. Urban Assault Squad for the Tag Team Titles.

Ted DiBiase Jr. vs. J.T.G.: DiBiase returned from injury in the Night Of Champions pre-show battle royal...haven't seen much of J.T.G. lately. Ted throws caution to the winds early as he hits a suicide dive...don't see that too often out of him. J.T.G. controls the action for several minutes but gets dropkicked coming off the second rope. J.T.G. nearly wins with a quick rollup, but DiBiase kicks out and maneuvers him into the Dream Street(Million Dollar Dream into a slam) for the win.
Drew McIntyre vs. Jinder Mahal: So who's the face in THIS matchup? Drew is still recovering from a recent wrist injury, as the commentators note. YAY WRESTLING~! to start but it quickly devolves into fisticuffs...Mahal yanks Drew off the second rope by the bad arm to take control. The fans chant "USA" for a match between a Scotsman and an Indian, yup. Jinder stays on the wrist, to his credit...but McIntyre has a good arm and puts it to good use. Mahal takes another shot at the arm but Drew cuts him off with IT"S THE BIG FOOT...Future Shock hits and Drew wins! Drew wins! Drew wins! Is this the start of a face turn? We shall see...
Tyson Kidd vs. David Otunga: Kidd's gotten a few wins lately but can't seem to keep his momentum, sorry to say. Kidd does a good job of outmaneuvering Otunga, but he gets slugged off the apron at a key moment. Kidd manages a late rally but runs into the Verdict(spinebuster) and that's enough for the three-count.
Jimmy & Jey Uso vs. The Prime Time Players: The Usos look good early but Darren Young catches Jimmy with a neckbreaker over the top rope, then Titus O'Neil mows him down with a big clothesline outside the ring. Jimmy finally backdrops Titus and makes the hot tag to Jey...time for the big rally! Young takes the Umaga Smash but O'Neil makes the save. Jimmy and Titus take it outside and Jimmy gets run into the ring apron...Jey hits the Samoan Drop and goes to the top rope but Titus is there to stop him. Young swats Jey off the ropes, then Titus tags in for the Demolition Decapitation and the win. Millions of dollars...millions of dollars...

Commentators: Josh Mathews & Michael Cole.
The show started with a surprise appearance by Edge...why not? This leads to Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan & Kane making an appearance; Edge reminds Kane of their past and Kane decides to resolve their past issues...with a hug. HA! Bryan almost joins the hug, but Damien Sandow interrupts and talks himself into a match...
Damien Sandow d. Tag Team Champion Kane(w/ Daniel Bryan); Sandow took advantage of an argument between the champs to kick Kane from behind, then hit the Union Jack neckbreaker for the surprise win.
Layla El d. Natalya Neidhart with the Layout(Rude Awakening); Women's Champion Eve Torres did commentary for the match.
World Champion Sheamus O'Shaunessy & Randy Orton d. Alberto Del Rio & Dolph Ziggler(w/ Ricardo Rodriguez & Vickie Guerrero) when Sheamus pinned Ziggler after the Brogue Kick.
Cody Rhodes d. Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan; Bryan was ready to put Rhodes in the No Lock but Kane distracted Bryan with his pyro, giving Cody the opening to hit the Crossrhodes.
Brodus Clay(w/ Funkadactyls) d. Heath Slater by DQ when Drew McIntyre & Jinder Mahal attacked Clay(they patched things up quickly). Drew and Jinder double-suplexed him, then Drew hit the Future Shock and Mahal locked him in the camel clutch.
Santino Marella d. U.S. Champion Antonio Cesaro(w/ Aksana Raudoniene)(non-title); Aksana was accidentally bumped into the ring after trying to distract Santino, leading to the ref being occupied with her while Cesaro had the pin after a pop-up European uppercut. The distraction allowed Santion to get the flash rollup pin...and Cesaro dumped Aksana after the match(in five languages!).
Tag Team Champions Kane & Daniel Bryan d. Damien Sandow & Cody Rhodes by DQ(non-title); Kane chokeslammed Sandow but Rhodes hit Kane with a chair for the disqualification. Jimmy & Jey Uso, The Prime Time Players, and Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel were all at ringside to scout the new champs. Bryan took the chair away from Cody and then gave it to Kane...he got his own chair and they dished out a massive beatdown on not only Sandow & Rhodes but the other tag teams in the ringside area!

-Shawn Hernandez d. World Tag Team Champion Of The World Frankie Kazarian after the Dominator.
WWE NXT6
Commentators: Byron Saxton, S. William Regal, & Jim Ross(for the main event). Ring announcer: Chris Russo.
Trent Barreta vs. Johnny Curtis: Where's Trent? There's Trent! He's been on the shelf for several months with a torn tricep(sayeth Byron). Barreta goes to the top rope too early and gets yanked down onto the turnbuckles. Curtis targets the arm and sets up a superplex, only to get sunset-bombed for a near-fall. Trent continues the comeback with an enzuigiri and Whisper In The Wind for another close two-count...but the Dudebuster DDT is blocked and Curtis gives him an overhead suplex into the corner! Cover...for two. Third floor...guillotine legdrop misses! Trent capitalizes with the Gobstopper(flying knee strike) and that's enough for the win!
Alicia Fox(w/o entrance) vs. Paige Knight: This will be a tough test for Paige against a former champion. We start with technial wrestling and Paige gets four near-falls in a row with an O'Connor roll, backslide, small package, and Oklahoma roll. Alicia is left a bit flustered and they trade slaps...NOW it's on. Fox pulls off a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for her own two-count and slows the pace a bit...Paige tries a slam but her back is hurting(PSYCHOLOGY~!). Alicia comes back with the Northern Lights suplex for two, then keeps her focus on the back. It seems like Paige is the fan favorite here...Fox tries to cut her off but Paige nicely maneuvers into her cradle DDT finisher for the upset victory!
The Raw Rebound puts a spotlight on the finish to the Raw main event...brought about by a newbie referee that looked a lot like Brad Maddox.
Jimmy Uso(w/ Jey)(w/o entrance) vs. Conor O'Brian(w/ Kenneth Cameron): Jey beat Cameron last week so now their tag partners are fighting. Jimmy gets an early advantage, but a baseball slide whiffs and Conor yanks him to the floor. The momentum shifts and Jimmy delivers the Samoan Drop and Umaga Smash, but Cameron runs interference only to be yanked off the apron by Jey. The referee backs Jey off, conveniently missing Cameron tripping up Jimmy on the ropes. O'Brian follows up with a flying boot to the face...that'll do it. Jey checks on his fallen brother and is quickly attacked by the Ascension duo...TOTAL ELIMINATION~! lays him out.
Briley Pierce still works here and interviews Bo Dallas backstage, but Michael McGillicutty quickly interrupts to gloat about his win over Tyson Kidd last week. Bo responds by punching him in the mouth...cue pullapart brawl with the referees quickly arriving to restore order.
Oliver Grey vs. Kassius Ohno: Ohno refers to this as a "sparring session"...okay. He fends off a brief flurry by Grey and actually gets a quick tapout with a modified CRAVATE~! Out of the goodness of his heart, Ohno gives Grey "another shot"...then levels him with the roaring elbow. He hooks the CRAVATE~! again for another tapout...then Richie Steamboat makes an appearance to send Ohno into retreat mode.
Really weird Leo Kruger vignette.
NXT Champion Seth Rollins vs. Rick Victor, non-title: YAY WRESTLING~! Victor stalls a bit and slips out of the ring to avoid a kick, then counters the incoming suicide dive with a forearm to the mush. Victor controls the pace after that...Rollins comes back with a jawbreaker but Victor stops him in his tracks with a killer high knee. Seth keeps firing back and doesn't take it well when Victor gives him another slap to the face...I feel a comeback coming! Enzuigiri sets up the Blackout and that wraps up our main event!

Kurt Angle & A.J. Styles vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Shawn Hernandez ended in a no-contest when World Tag Team Champions Of The World Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian attacked Styles and Chavo.
Douglas Williams d. Evan Markopoulos with an inverted Crippler Crossface submission hold.
James Storm and Bobby Roode brawled to a double DQ after both men shoved the referee as he was trying to get the match under control.
Bully Ray d. Heavyweight Champion Austin Aries(non-title) after knocking him out with a chain after the referee was knocked down. Jeff Hardy saved Aries from a post-match BELTing, leading to a confrontation when Aries took exception to Hardy posing with the belt.

SICW Special Comment
Notable absences were Gary Jackson and Chris Hargas...I initially wondered why Hargas wasn't there, then remembered that he took two piledrivers on a chair from Ron Powers last month. CONTINUITY~!
First time seeing Jon Webb(WLW trainee) and Bull Bronson(AAPW regular). Bronson's a big guy and seems to know what he's doing in the ring. Not sure how many matches Webb has had so far, but he looked solid.
Good job of setting up several matches for next month's show. Also good to see the championship as the central focus with multiple wrestlers wanting a shot at the title.
Thought for sure that the opener was ending in a time-limit draw, especially when they made the announcement of one minute remaining...but James got the flash pin before the time limit expired.
Ken Kasa dusted off one of his old finishers from his days as Ian Storm...I forget if that was called the Storm Warning or the Thunderstorm, but it's more popularly known nowadays as Jay Lethal's Lethal Combination.
Cruz-Rudolph was a different style of match since it was no-DQ...then we got another wild brawl situation at the end of the tag match with Powers throwing tables around!
AAPW has a big show next Saturday but I'll probably be staying closer to home for the MMWA show in Lemay...

-C.M. Punk(w/ Paul Heyman) fought John Cena to a draw to retain the WWE Title. Cena hit a bridging belly-to-back suplex and appeared to get the pin, but Cena's shoulders were also counted down so the match was ruled a draw. Punk BELTed Cena after the match.

NWA Anarchy TV #346
Commentators: Tim E.D. & John Johnson.
Joey Rhymer vs. Jacob Ashworth: Ashworth bashes Rhymer off the apron right away...he definitely has a new attitude these days. He abuses Rhymer outside the ring before throwing back in...NOW they ring the bell and it's a one-sided affair thanks to the pre-match assault. Rhymer stuns Ashworth with a big roundhouse kick and goes to the top rope, but Ashworth simply swats him out of the air. Jacob finishes with a short-arm clothesline.
J.T. Talent vs. Andrew Pendleton III: This one has been a few years in the making...the former "Talent & Money" partners finally meet one-on-one for the first time. Johnson notes that Talent hasn't had a match in NWA Anarchy in about two years. No technical exchanges or feeling-out here...this is a fight. AP3 bodyslams Talent but J.T. does a kip-up, showing his previously-injured back is in good shape at the moment. Pendleton takes advantage of a mistake by Talent to hit a belly-to-back backbreaker...perhaps I spoke too soon as AP3 focuses his attack on the aforementioned back. Talent fights to the ropes to escape a Boston crab but can't quite mount a full-fledged comeback. Pendleton takes too long to climb the turnbuckles and jumps off into an inverted atomic drop...then J.T. follows up with a Headturner neckbreaker! Now Talent rallies despite the pain in his back, but Pendleton stops him with a jawbreaker and then a Rude Awakening onto the knee...for two. An exposed turnbuckle nearly comes into play(AP3 must have removed the pad during the ad break)...Pendleton blocks the Paydirt with a modified Rock Bottom and gets a near-fall. Another tease with the unpadded corner leads to Talent hitting the Paydirt on the second try...for 2 1/2. That move didn't do J.T. any favors...and Pendleton capitalizes by ramming him backwards into the exposed turnbuckle! He does it two more times for fun...Talent is dead weight and Pendleton hits an STO for the academic pin.
Johnson addresses the unwashed masses...he has signed Jacoby Boykins over to Jeff G. Bailey, so he's on the lookout for more new talent. He has been appointed as the new Director Of Talent Relations, see. He brings out Young Lions' Champion Adrian Hawkins as his first "acquisition", then brings out Tommy Daniels & C.B. Gibson as well. Johnson argues that Daniels & Gibson should live up to their backgrounds...he redubs Daniels as "Tommy Penirelli", then and Gibson as "C.B. Suave". With the blessing of General Manager Jerry Palmer, Johnson declares that the only way you can win the Young Lions' Title is by submission. How about an open challenge?...
Adrian Hawkins(w/ John Johnson, Tommy Penirelli, & C.B. Suave) vs. The Vandal for the Young Lions' Title, submission match(?): Ring announcer Brett Wolverton joins Tim E.D. at the broadcast position. Vandal takes out Penirelli & Suave with a somersault plancha, then sidesteps Hawkins' suicide dive so Penirelli & Suave get wiped out again. Quick question: Can Hawkins win by pinfall or is that stipulation only one-sided? Penirelli & Suave run interferene to turn the tide in favor of the champ...Vandal fights back and hooks a unique leglock but Adrian reaches the ropes. Vandal tries for his own Sharpshooter but Hawkins kicks him away, then O'Connor-rolls him straight into the setup for his Sharpshooter! Welcome to Tapout City.
Azrael & Slim J(w/ Dan Wilson) vs. Heavyweight Champion Shaun Tempers & Se7en(w/ Jeff G. Bailey) for the Tag Team Titles: Azrael & Slim J captured the titles in a match with Tempers & Jacoby Boykins...notable because the original titleholders were Se7en & Lane Vasser. Both Lane and his replacement co-champion Bryan Cassanova seem to have dropped off the map in recent months. Tempers IS still the NWA North American Champion, thanks for asking...he's held that title since June of last year. Jerry Palmer(w/ Miss Rachel) joins Bailey at ringside after a few minutes...despite a few bursts of offense from the NWA Elite, the champs have been doing well for themselves.
The Elite members finally take control and work on Azrael...Slim J can take no more and goes after Se7en, but that prevents Azrael from making the tag. Senior official Brent Wiley IS your referee, by the way. Tempers makes the mistake of trying to trade chops with Azrael...bad move. Se7en whiffs on an axe kick and Azrael stuns him with an enzuigiri...tags on both sides! Slim is the proverbial house afire...J eliminates Tempers with a modified Screwdriver On The Rocks and Se7en enters the ring to take some double-team abuse from the champs. Tempers comes in with the belt but Brodie Ray Chase takes it away from him and nails him with it! Slim J covers Tempers and Wiley counts one...two...Azrael forces his hand down for three!
The Urban Assault Squad members hit the ring for some post-match abuse but Brodie joins the fight as well...Mikael Judas tries to help but Jagged Edge attacks him from behind! Jagged Edge easily picks up Judas for a running powerslam as the Elite members stand tall in the ring...why not one or two more running powerslams? Palmer trash-talks Judas and Chase...is there anyone left to help? As icing on the cake, Palmer announces that the UAS will get the next shot at the Tag Titles...

-Ken Kasa d. Super Castaldi XIV after a cobra clutch backbreaker into a Flatliner.
-Jon Webb d. -Dave Vaughn d. Jimmy Douglas after a spear and double-underhook DDT.
-Ricky Cruz d. Alexandre Rudolph in a no-DQ match to retain the Classic Title; both men used a chair to their advantage but Cruz finally picked up the win after the Cruz Control(swinging fisherman buster). -Heath Hatton d. Bull Bronson after a DDT.
-Chaz Wesson & Sean Vincent d. Ron Powers & The Big Texan; Texan pulled the referee in the way of one of Wesson's chops at one point. CHIKARA & The Submission Squad
Okay, so the Submission Squad members had a tag match at King Of Trios Night 2 in 2009: Pierre Abernathy & Evan Gelistico vs. Davey Vega & Gary The Barnowl(Gary Jay/Gerald James). I have not seen the match so I can't judge it, but it was the recipient of unbelievable amounts of venom from the fans. It took place in Philadelphia(home of notoriously-hostile wrestling fans) plus they were on a loaded card with some of the best talent on the independent scene at the time. From what I heard, the fans were rejecting the match before it even happened...as soon as the "LWA Showcase" match was announced, fans reportedly chanted "Don't Come Out"! Here's a review of the match from 411Mania from shortly after the event to give you an idea of the response...

Jesus Christ is Pierre ugly. Him and Evan have absurd looking gear also. The Submission Squad attack Gary and Davey from behind but they come back with some forearms. The Sbumission Squad try a comeback but get foiled. Davey makes it so Pierre DDT’s Evan. Gary rolls into a double slap in the corner on Pierre, and Davey follows with a jump up kick to the chest. The Squad heads to the floor, and the babyfaces look for dives. The Squad trip them on the mat slamming their faces into the apron. The Squad hit some offense on Gary, not allowing him to make a tag. Gary comes back with an ace crusher then wheelbarrows through for a pin attempt. Evan spins Gary around into a slam and stretches his back against his knee. More double teaming from the Squad. The fans chant BABA BOOEY at Pierre and rightfully so. He applies a sleeper hold, and I am falling asleep myself. The coldest hot tag in the history of wrestling is made to Davey as he fights off both Pierre and Evan. Tandem dives by the babyfaces to the Squad to the floor. Evan catches Davey with a jump up Ace Crusher for a two count. Gary comes in with a swinging flatliner for the two count. Evan drops Gary on his head sending him to the floor. Davey ducks a clotheslines and takes down Pierre with a clotheslines. Evan blocks a clothesline and hits with a “Here It Is Driver” for the win.
Okay, this match was eighteen kinds of terrible. The wrestling looked sloppy, incredibly choreographed, and was plain uninteresting. The fans didn’t give two shits about any of the participants, and I am sure many people say that this is why the match was so bad. Isn’t the point of wrestling to make the fans care about what you’re doing? As someone who was in attendance for this match, I can straight up tell you they didn’t. The fans chanted “Don’t Come Back” and booed them mercifully as they left. Both teams had kick ass theme music, and that’s the only positive I have about the entire match. Even with that though, their entrances (and exits) went WAY too long. One fan screamed and begged for them to go away. Yep, it was that bad. It also doesn’t help that the team advertised as “The Submission Squad” didn’t do a single submission. Supposedly, there’s some storyline involving this in the LWA, but we don’t know that. I equate it to why Vin Gerard didn’t get over in PWG; fans didn’t know the backstory, and that is very important to know when it comes to a character. It’s makes far more sense and is far more rewarding if you know these guys’ backstory. The fans didn’t, the commentators didn’t. Don’t advertise the team that way if you’re not going to explain them to us. The LWA had a shot on the absolute biggest tournament of the year, and this, THIS was the effort they gave. The chance to turn CHIKARA fans into LWA fans was now. Plenty of wrestlers and companies have opened the eyes of CHIKARA fans, so it’s not as if doing this difficult or unprecedented. I was going to give this match a DUD, but that’s for 20 second matches where guys like Alex Payne get squashed. Those are much better than this. There’s only one proper rating for this match; FAIL.

MMWA Doubleheader Special Comment
It was a busy wrestling weekend in this area with three shows...Ricky Cruz worked all three and several people worked both shows on Saturday. Unfortunately, MMWA seemed to be a bit short-handed with several notable absences.
It seems like Brandon Espinosa and his crew(Ace Hawkins, Dave Osborne, LaMarcus Clinton, & Chase King) have parted ways with MMWA...Osborne worked last month's South Broadway show but was absent this month. This throws a wrench into their title picture as Osborne is Battle Royal Champion and LMC & King are Tag Champs. Osborne was announced as a participant in the King Of St. Louis Cable Tournament in Lemay so he could be on that show(card subject to change, of course). T.V. Champion Dave Vaughn and Ken Kasa were both absent from in-ring competition this past weekend as well(though Vaughn made a ringside appearance during the South Broadway opener). Johnny Courageous made an appearance with his arm in a sling, bringing several new trainees out to watch the action. Don't know if Missouri licensing played a factor in any of these or not...
The annual back-to-school matinee show on Saturday was unique since there was no sound system. That meant no entrance music, plus Ben Simon had to do his ring announcing from a police car speaker! The kids had a good time plus they had a bicycle raffle and free food and sodas...woo.
Cruz had the busiest weekend with FIVE total matches(wrestling twice at each of the MMWA shows)...Jr. Heavyweight Champion Max Archer and Webmaster Stevie K were a close second with four matches in one day! Quite a return to action for Stevie K as he hadn't wrestled in several months.
Sean Vincent was in a tough spot as he just recently turned face but worked two face-vs.-face matches(one against Gary Jackson and the other against Cruz). At least he got the stamp of approval from Ricky as they teamed up in the main event at South Broadway.
After recent ring mishaps, I'm a bit nervous about ANYONE jumping off the ropes at shows these days. It has been suggested to me that it'll help wrestlers to develop a more solid match structure without relying on FLIPPIES~! Nothing wrong with flippies in moderation, of course. It didn't help that they had to fix the bottom rope right before the start of the South Broadway show...
Me to a friend: "So is Archer the top heel on this show?" My friend was left semi-speechless.
Okay, so the Lumberjacks are heels...at least they were this past weekend as they were sore about losing the Tag Titles. That didn't help the Archer vs. Abe match in terms of fan interest.
At first I was wondering about Archer and Stevie K wrestling twice at South Broadway...then I realized that the tag match was "impromptu" so they probably already had scheduled matches.
Noticed Jerome Cody doing commentary for some of the South Broadway matches...perhaps he's pondering a return to the ring?
"American Blue Demon" was a bigger guy in a Castaldi gi and Blue Demon mask with mannerisms similar to Purple Passion...not sure if the person under the mask was a total newcomer or someone else on the card pulling double duty.
The closing tag match at South Broadway actually had two referees...a staple of tag matches in the days of Wrestling At The Chase. That just meant Archer and Stevie K had to work extra hard to cheat.
The attendance was a bit lower than usual at South Broadway, sorry to say.
Kinda wish the MMWA championship situations had more direction...it doesn't seem like there are a lot of solid feuds over the belts.
Upcoming shows...SICW in East Carondelet this coming weekend, MMWA in Lemay on the 22nd, and St. Louis Anarchy on the 29th.

TNA XPlosion
-Commentators: Mike Tenay & Jeremy Borash.
-A.J. Styles d. Robbie Eckos(w/ Robbie Terry) via Styles Clash.
WWE NXT6
Commentators: Byron Saxton, S. William Regal, & Jim Ross(for the main event). Ring announcer: Summer Rae.
Jey Uso(w/ Jimmy Uso) vs. Kenneth Cameron(w/ Conor O'Brian): O'Brian trips up Jey at a key moment...that draws Jimmy over to lay him out. Cameron is momentarily distracted by the sight of his fallen partner and runs right into a superkick from Jey for the three-count.
Rick Victor interrupts a meeting between General Manager Dusty Rhodes and Rob Naylor...he wants a shot at the title, but Dusty says he'll have to prove himself first.
Chad Baxter vs. Big E Langston: I don't like Baxter's chances. He gets in a few punches and a sunset flip attempt...stress on "attempt". Big E hits a trio of backbreakers, then a Vader Smash sets up the Big Ending for the easy win. Langston isn't done and delivers a post-match Big Ending for good measure...he covers and makes his own pin count, even channeling King Kong Bundy with a FIVE-count. He clarifies the five-count in his post-match promo, then hits Baxter with his finisher one more time and makes his own five-count again.
Kassius Ohno enlightens us...he'll have a "sparring session" in the ring next week.
Where's Trent? Mr. Barreta returns to action next week on NXT. WOO~!
Garrett Dylan vs. Damien Sandow: Sandow offers Dylan the opportunity to forfeit and listen to a lecture instead...Dylan appears to decline. Sandow dominates the action for the most part...though Dylan gets a surprise two-count with a big LARIATOOOOO. Sandow quickly turns the tide and gets the victory with the Union Jack neckbreaker. CARTWHEEL~! The fans chant "one more time"...but unlike Big E, Sandow does not indulge the audience.
Briley Pierce still works here and he interviews NXT Champion Seth Rollins. The main event will decide a future contender for the title...but Rick Victor interrupts. A brief verbal exchange leads to Victor slapping Rollins...that's one way to make a statement. Seth goes straight to Dusty's office and demands a match with Victor next week...Dusty makes it so.
Tyson Kidd vs. Michael McGillicutty: YAY WRESTLING~! The fans in the arena seem to have mistaken McGillicutty for Hack Myers...SHAH~! Kidd rallies with the proverbial educated feet but MM ducks out of the ring for a breather. Kidd swings through the ropes for a huge dropkick, then does a plancha fakeout before punting him from the ring apron! Back into the ring, Kidd's springboard elbowdrop...hits raised knees. NOW YOU'RE GONNA SEE A PERFECTPLEX...for 2 1/2! Cover again...for two. McGillicutty goes to the top but Kidd cuts him off...and nails the top-rope Frankensteiner! Tyson crawls over to cover...for 2 1/2. MM stops him with a jawbreaker but Kidd backflips out of a back suplex attempt...only for MM to duck an incoming enzuigiri and nail the Headturner neckbreaker! Cover, pin, and McGillicutty picks up a big win!
Next week: NXT Champion Seth Rollins vs. Rick Victor.

Justin Gabriel vs. Lord Tensai(w/ Adeshi Sakamoto): Stanford remembers that Tensai beat Gabriel in a Money-In-The-Bank qualifier a few months ago, plus Tensai had some problems with Gabriel's tag partner Tyson Kidd...CONTINUITY~! Gabriel keeps moving to stay away from Tensai's power...only to run into a proverbial brick wall. Gabriel does better than you might expect against Tensai, getting a close near-fall after a springboard moonsault. However, Tensai overpowers him out of the blue with the Baldo Bomb...one senton later, the match is over.
Santino Marella vs. Jinder Mahal: Santino is OVAH. Stanford notes that the U.S. Title shot at Night Of Champions is up for grabs in the pre-show battle royal...of course Santino wants another rematch with Antonio Cesaro. Nothing seems to work for Santino for a while, but he rallies and nails the saluting headbutt off the second rope...then it's time for the Cobra to strike and that's the ballgame.
Alicia Fox vs. Natalya Neidhart: One of these ladies might just win a match! These two were actually tag partners on Raw but that team didn't fare too well. The audience is a bit partisan as we're still in Canada...Nattie's home country, don'cha know. Alicia keeps going to the ropes to escape early attempts at the Sharpshooter. Yeah, it looks like Nattie's the face in this match and Alicia's the heel...for THIS match, anyway. Fox messes with Natalia's ring jacket...now that means war. Alicia does pull off a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker; didn't know she had that in her. Nattie blocks a high kick in the corner and takes her down into the Sharpshooter...welcome to Tapout City, population Alicia Fox.
Zack Ryder vs. Cody Rhodes: Striker actually refers to the logo on Ryder's tights as the Statue Of Li-BRO-ty. Zack's a former U.S. Champion, you know(and Tag Champ!). Of course Cody is a former Intercontinental Champion as well as a Tag Champ. An early setup for the Broski Boot sends Rhodes to the floor for a breather...Cody baits Ryder into a legsweep only for the ringpost wishbone to backfire...plancha alert!
Things turn around when Ryder misses a cross-body, painfully hitting the ropes and tumbling all the way out of the ring. Cody controls the action for a while but a collision leaves both men down...then Zack starts El Big Comeback. Corner forearm sets up the Broski Boot, this time delivered as advertised...for two. Cody stuns Zack with a quick dropdown uppercut, but the Alabama Slam is countered into a sunset flip...for two. Rude Awakening...gets two. Rough Ryder...is countered into a powerbomb...for two. Cody charges into the corner and hits a pair of raised knees, then Ryder hits a discus clothesline...for two. Rhodes seeks refuge in the ropes and gets off an elbow...Beautiful Disaster misses but so does Ryder's enzuigiri...Crossrhodes HITS and that'll do it!

Shiima Xion d. Sonjay Dutt to retain the X-Division Title; Dutt hit the moonsault double-stomp but Xion got a foot on the bottom rope. Sonjay attempted to hit the move again but Shiima crotched him on the turnbuckles and got the pin after that. Xion attacked Dutt with the hairspray can after the match.
A.J. Styles d. World Tag Team Champion Of The World Frankie Kazarian via Styles Clash, earning another Tag Title shot for himself and Kurt Angle.
Chavo Guerrero Jr. d. World Tag Team Champion Of The World Christopher Daniels after the frog splash, earning another Tag Title shot for himself and Shawn Hernandez. Hmm, I sense a conflict of interest here...
Tara Varon formally congratulated Brooke Tessmacher on retaining her Women's Title against her at No Surrender, even putting the title belt around her waist...but then attacked her and dropped her with the Widow's Peak. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a heel turn.
Jeff Hardy d. Bully Ray with the swanton bomb; Hardy had put his Bound For Glory title shot on the line in the matchup.

Dynamo Special Comment
Busy weekend so I might as well start from the beginning...
Another solid turnout for Dynamo in Glen Carbon, always good to see.
Surprised to see Alexandre Rudolph come up short in his matchup with Cancun Kid...he just turned face in Dynamo and had been on a winning streak in the area.
Hadn't seen Bradley Charles wrestle around here in a while...he's mostly competed for 3XW in Iowa as well as Metro Pro in Kansas City. Good matchup with Mike Sydal. Sydal actually picked up a win on ROH television this past week over Mike Bennett...it was a countout victory with a slight assist from Mike Mondo, but a win is a win sometimes.
The Bumrush Brothers are taking the long road to the gold as they got ONE of their stolen belts back...they hope to reclaim the other one at the October show. Dice subbing for the absent Adam Rich certainly changed the complexion of that matchup.
Very good matchup between Ricky Cruz and Jeremy Wyatt. They survived some of each other's signature moves but Cruz used his leglock submission hold(from last month's match with Billy McNeil) to beat the previously-injured Wyatt(PSYCHOLOGY~!). I think this was Wyatt's first St. Louis-area outing since breaking a bone in his leg at an AAPW show...good to see him back in action. Wyatt attacked Cruz after the match so this feud MUST CONTINUE~!
Interesting tag team pairings with Dirden/Jackal and Rando/Sanchez...not sure who the faces and heels were in that matchup. Tiffany LaFane was scouting for new talent during the matchup...of course, she's been previously aligned with K.C. Karrington and Steven Kennedy but they've got Greg Jovi in their corner these days. Liked the unique double-team finish Dirden & Jackal used.
Another surprise finish in the women's match...a previous outing saw MsChif not affected too much by submission holds, but her recent back injury may have been a factor here(PSYCHOLOGY~!). Funny how the face/heel alignments were backwards as Miss Natural was screwed over by MsChif and Magic Man last month and had her robe stolen...this time around she avenged the loss and reclaimed her property.
Hard to believe Karrington had the NWA Missouri Title for as long as he did(15 months!)...it was just a matter of whether Walsh or Makaze would end the reign. They repeated the fact that the champion could lose the belt without being pinned or made to submit, so that seemed to foreshadow how things would end. Of course that leaves the window open for K.C. to demand his rematch...but he may be in hot water for assaulting the referee after the matchup.
The next Dynamo show already has the Tag Title match set up with the fans voting for the stipulation on Facebook...plus we're getting closer to the "GCW Reunion" show in December. I've heard a few interesting rumors about who will be there...bwahahaha.

Comedy Part 473: Been A While
Location: Westport Funny Bone
Emcee: Andrew Topping
After: Max Fitzgerald
Before: Matt Conty
Didn't realize how long it had been since I'd been on stage at the Funny Bone(mid-July). Think I did okay...tried out a few new things and reworded an older joke or two. Thought of a new bit idea that I want to write out in the near future, so hopefully that'll see the light of day in my next few stage appearances.
