Commentators: Kevin Hunsperger & Chris Hagstrom.
Ace Hawkins(w/ Brandon Espinosa) vs. Tag Team Champion Christian Rose(w/ Matt Cage): Ace avoids the opening cheapshot attempt, then the two trade pin reversals until Rose blocks a crucifix by ramming Hawkins into the turnbuckles. Ace fights out of the early superplex attempt and hits a Steamboat Press...for two. Ace kicks him into the ropes and he gets tangled up...Cage protests and Espy yanks Cage off the apron, but that gives Rose time to get loose(with help from the ref) and he stops Hawkins with a Stungun. Rose maintains control and targets the neck but he can't keep Ace down...Hawkins finally gets some separation with a jawbreaker and goes on offense. Rose teases a suplex to the floor but Ace lands on the apron and kicks Rose down. Flying rana off the apron...is caught and Rose swings him into the guardrail! Rose is fine with a countout victory, but Espinosa encourages his partner to beat the count. Rose quickly goes for a cover...but only gets two. Ace surprises him with a small package...for two. Rose fires back with a Falcon Arrow...for two. Ace hits a few more big moves but Zakk Sawyer appears out of nowhere to trip him up...Rose rolls him up with feet on the ropes for the cheap win!
Backstage: Truk Thompson wonders if he ticked somebody off to get matched up with the Mississippi Madman tonight...
Mississippi Madman vs. Truk Thompson: Thompson has been on a winning streak, but this is a slightly taller order. Thompson decides to go on the attack right away...that works for a few seconds. Thompson blocks the Fifth Floor(tree slam) and goes back on offense but can't quite slam the 400-plus pounder. Madman clotheslines Thompson out of the ring and follows him to the floor...but misses a wild swing and hits the ringpost. Thompson re-enters the ring and argues with the referee...so the official doesn't see Bull Bronson attack Madman and ram him into the post! Madman gets counted out, leaving Thompson with an ill-begotten victory...and Madman's not happy. Madman declares that Bronson is a dead man...
Gaylord Stevens(w/ Jay Wellington Beauregard) enlightens us...Ax Allwardt's losing streak is of no consequence. Ax feels like Heath Hatton owes him more respect(even though Hatton defeated him at Summer Chaos). He feels like his piledriver should be called the "Time Machine" since you wake up in the middle of next week...ha ha.
Heath Hatton vs. Dave Osborne(joined in progress): The commentators hype Hatton's upcoming title shot at NWA World Champion Adam Peace...that's a big opportunity for him. Solid matchup...Osborne's size advantage is a tough obstacle for Heath to overcome. Osborne gets a near-fall after a senton, but Hatton avoids the move when Osborne tries it again. Heath rallies but misses a missile dropkick, allowing Osborne hits a swinging uranagi onto the knee...for two! Osborne tries for the cobra suplex but Hatton fights out, then hits a modified DDT(in the style of Christian's falling inverted DDT) to notch the victory. Beauregard comes out to address his recent efforts to become a manager...he says Heath isn't done with Ax until Ax and Gaylord say he's done. Hatton backs Beauregard into the corner and that brings out Allwardt and Stevens to attack from behind...Ax picks up Heath in an over-the-shoulder backbreaker with Gaylord choking Hatton with his umbrella for good measure.
Up-close interiew with Shane Rich, part two: He talks about seeing his first live wrestling show and training for his debut, then joining the Air Force and being deployed to Iraq.
Mike Masters vs. Edmund "Livewire" McGuire for the Heavyweight Title: This is McGuire's only rematch for the belt...he held the belt for over a year before his controversial loss to Masters. Masters threatens the fan who received McGuire's bandanna, thus kick-starting the match on the arena floor before it officially starts in the ring. The commentators immediately apologize for being biased against the current champion...heh. Livewire goes to the top rope too early and misses the guillotine legdrop...that allows Masters to take control of the matchup. Masters chokes the challenger with his wrist tape as the commentators note that a DQ would mean he keeps the title(plus McGuire doesn't get any more title shots). Livewire comes back with a DDT but Masters barely kicks out at 2 1/2. The momentum swings several times and Masters even abuses the five-count on a chokehold...Livewire flips out of a back suplex attempt but Masters bails to the floor to avoid a possible superkick. NOW Masters stalls on the floor, content to get counted out, but McGuire catches up to him and throws him back in the ring. Hagstrom is full-blast cheerleading for McGuire at this point...but Masters blocks the superkick and delivers a blatant low blow to FINALLY get disqualified. McGuire wins the match but doesn't win the belt...and Masters BELTs Livewire from behind for good measure.
