Midweek wrestling

TNA XPlosion

-Commentators:  Jeremy Borash & Pat Kenney.
-James Storm d. Brutus Magnus after the Last Call superkick.

WWE NXT6

Commentators:  Byron Saxton, S. William Regal, & Jim Ross(for the main event).  Ring announcer:  Summer Rae.

Earlier today:  Briley Pierce(who still works here) caught up to Kassius Ohno to ask him about the post-match attack last week...but Richie Steamboat attacks Ohno!  "My father taught me enough..."

Richie Steamboat vs. Drew McIntyre:  YAY WRESTLING~!  Steamboat keeps the offensive pressure on Drew, but he gets too fancy and gets punted out of the air.  McIntyre gets a near-fall after a fireman's-carry drop, but Richie escapes a second attempt at the move and rallies.  Steamboat nails the superkick but Ohno tries a run-in only to get stopped by the referee.  That distraction is still enough of an opening for Drew to level Steamboat from behind(with the cast on his wrist!)...Future Shock is delivered and McIntyre picks up the win.

Aiden English(w/o entrance) vs. Big E Langston:  Langston is OVAH.  Big throw, Vader Smash, Big Ending, cover for three(er, five).  Big E delivers another Big Ending and makes his own five-count after that...why not, one more Big Ending and another self-administered five-count.

Steamboat searches the backstage area for Ohno...Michael McGillicutty doesn't know where he is.

Next week:  WWE Champion C.M. Punk pays a visit.

McGillicutty enlightens us...he's got a title shot at Seth Rollins next week.  He calls out Seth for a face-to-face confrontation, calling him a paper champion...of course that brings Rollings out to the ring.  Seth is ready for a fight tonight...but MM prefers to wait until the belt's on the line.

Earlier today:  Briley Pierce(who STILL works here) interviewed Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel.  Kidd says they're both former Tag Team Champions(with different partners), but they're interrupted by the Ascension's light show and spot the rival duo watching them from afar...

Percy Watson vs. Kassius Ohno:  Ohno is barely out to the entrance stage before Steamboat jumps him from behind!  Referees have to restrain Richie so Kassius can start his match...okay then.  Ohno goes straight into attack mode, not wanting to give Watson a chance to capitalize, but Percy quickly fires back.  The momentum shifts a few times but Ohno holds the ropes to block the Percycution.  Ohno stops a charging Percy with a raised knee, then hits the roaring elbow to the back of the head...a folding press(thank you, Mr. Regal) gets him the pinfall.

Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel vs. The Ascension(Conor O'Brian & Kenneth Cameron):  Kidd & Gabriel show some good teamwork in the early going against Cameron...but Cameron turns a waistlock takeover into high-impact offense, putting Gabriel in the wrong part of town.  Kidd gets a tag and the house is momentarily on fire, but O'Brian yanks him to the floor in painful fashion.  Kidd gets stomped down in the corner by both men in "assembly line" fashion...now it's Tyson in trouble.  Kidd finally evades both opponents long enough to tag in Gabriel and Justin springboards into the fray!  Kidd and Conor take it to the floor as Gabriel takes down Cameron with a flying shoulderblock...450 Splash?  Nothing but mat!  O'Brian sends Kidd into the steel steps...TOTAL ELIMINATION~! hits and Cameron pins Gabriel for the win!  Byron calls the finisher the "Fall Of Man"...that'll work.

Next week:  Seth Rollins vs. Michael McGillicutty for the NXT Title, plus WWE Champion C.M. Punk will be in the house.

TNA Impact

-Commentators:  Mike Tenay & Taz.
-Ken Anderson d. Phil Gunner(w/ Kid Kash) after the Mic Check; Kash attacked after the match only to get planted with another Mic Check.
-Tara Varon & Gail Kim d. Women's Champion Brooke Tessmacher & Women's Tag Team Champion O.D.B. when Tara pinned Tessmacher after the Widow's Peak.
-Samoa Joe d. Rob Van Dam via muscle buster to retain the T.V. Title.
-Chavo Guerrero Jr.(w/ Shawn Hernandez) d. Kurt Angle(w/ A.J. Styles) after a brief distraction by Hernandez allowed Chavo to get the quick rollup pin.  World Tag Team Champions Of The World Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian watched the post-match argument from afar.
-Douglas Williams d. Shiima Xion by reversed decision; Xion retained the X-Division Title.  Xion initially won with an inverted cross-armbreaker, but he wouldn't release the hold after the bell and the referee overturned his initial decision.
-Bully Ray won a non-title triple threat match with Heavyweight Champion Austin Aries and Jeff Hardy; Ray took advantage of a collision between Aries and Hardy to pin Hardy after the Buh-Buh Bomb.
-Hulk Hogan & Sting were ready to pick Ken Anderson as Sting's partner for the PPV, but Anderson was attacked backstage by the Aces & Eights.  Bully Ray made his case and Hulk & Sting decided to accept his offer to join them at Bound For Glory.
