AAW Pro Wrestling TV #5

Commentators:  Phil Colvin & Derek St. Holmes, Esq.

Silas Young thinks Eddie Kingston is a pretty smart guy for trying to make a name at his expense...but things are personal after Kingston put his hands on Silas' wife Val Malone.

"Sugar" Shane Hollister(w/ Scarlett Bordeaux & Markus Crane) vs. Flip Kendrick for the Heavyweight Title:  Oh great, I will have a LOT of trouble focusing on the match with Scarlett out there...hmm...err, anywho.  Kendrick(no relation to Brian) had a brief stint in TNA as Flip Cassanova.  Hollister has competed for St. Louis Anarchy on a few occasions but AAW is his home turf.  Both of these guys fall more into the cruiserweight size range, but YAY WRESTLING~! regardless.  We're told Flip trained with Teddy Hart in Canada...wow.  FLIPPIES~!  Kendrick looks strong in the early going, but Crane interjects himself to turn the tide.  They fight onto a stage area that's level with the ring...Kendrick kicks Hollister down to the floor and then hits a somersault dive off the stage!  Kendrick diverts himself to fend off Crane, then hits a running corkscrew dive to the floor onto Hollister!

Flip senses victory and throws Hollister into Crane, then vaults over the top rope into a dropkick...THEN takes out Hollister and Crane with an Asai moonsault to the floor!  Back in the ring...Kendrick gets a two-count.  He hits a flurry of moves that I can barely describe...he jumps backwards off the second turnbuckle(with Hollister facing the other way) into a flying X-Factor, then Code-Reds him into the turnbuckles...for two!  Reversal sequence ends with a Hollister enzuigiri, but Kendrick hits a belly-to-back faceplant...for two.  Corkscrew Lionsault misses and both men are down...and another flurry of moves leads to a running Ligerbomb by Hollister for a near-fall.

Flip hits something or other off the second rope for another near-fall...then he goes to the top rope but Scarlett shakes the ropes to trip him up.  Superplex fight leads to Flip getting the advantage, but this time it's Crane running interference(no DQs).  Kendrick fights HIM off...corkscrew Lionsault hits this time and gets 2 1/2.  Hollister comes back by blocking a leapfrog out of the corner and superkicking Kendrick in the face in mid-air...and God's^H^H^HShug's Last Gift ends it.  (Match time 15:49)  Scarlett wraps herself around Hollister in the victory celebration...hmm...err, anywho.

Eddie Kingston gets a good laugh out of Silas Young's comments...Silas isn't here tonight but Eddie is.  Looks like he's getting some worthy competition tonight in the form of Rhino...

Rhino is impressed by Kingston...but he'll rip him in half with the GORE GORE GORE~!

"The War Machine" Rhino vs. Eddie Kingston:  Eddie throws chairs into the ring to start...I suspect this will be a different sort of match than Hollister-Kendrick.  The trashtalking starts early...opening lockup goes nowhere and Eddie claims a pull of the tights.  Well, it couldn't have been a hair pull.  They trade armdrags(!),  then Kingston shockingly doesn't break clean in the corner.  Rhino likewise foregoes the clean break...and the technical stuff goes out the window just like that.  They take it to the floor(no countouts!) and Rhino throws Kingston through a bunch of chairs in the audience...ow.  They fight through the audience area and Rhino reverses a suplex on the floor...EVENTUALLY they make it back to the ring.  Suicide dive by Kingston!

We finally get both men back in the ring and the momentum swings back and forth...the referee still puts five-counts on Eddie's chokeholds, I note.  (Referee's discretion, or something.)  Dueling shoulderblocks leave both men down, but Rhino rallies on offense...flying shoulderblock off the second rope gets two.  Roaring elbow by Kingston followed by an exploder suplex...for two.  Rhino reverses into a spinebuster...for two.  Eddie hits a spinning Rock Bottom...for two.  THE STRAPS COME DOWN and Kingston goes looking for plunder, bringing several chairs into the ring.  He sets up two chairs and puts a third on top of the setup, then goes to the second rope only to get powerbombed down onto the chairs by Rhino!  Cover...gets 2 1/2.

Rhino wedges a chair in the corner but Kingston chops his way back into the fight...Rhino responds with a belly-to-belly suplex.  Corner "semi-Gore"(sayeth the commentators) sets up the full-fledged version...and he hits it...for 2 1/2!  The fans request that Rhino Gore The Ref but it's not to be...a blind charge by Rhino hits a raised knee and Kingston rams Rhino into the chair in the corner, then brings in a chain...why not?  He decks Rhino with the chain...for 2 1/2.  Spinning Backfist To The Future does NOT take Rhino down...neither does the second...so Eddie just punts him in the groin(no DQs!).  After that, a third spinning backfist finally does it.  (Match time 16:52)

Kingston admits that he took a beating from Rhino tonight...but he still won.  He feels like Silas let him down by not seeking revenge tonight...doesn't he love his wife?  They'll fight down the line and Eddie tells Silas to bring his...woman.
