-Backstage in the General Manager's office:  S. William Regal announced that Sami Zayn would face Samoa Joe in a best-of-three-falls match in two weeks to finally determine a number-one contender to NXT Champion Finn Bálor.  Also, a new talent has signed with NXT and he will be making his debut appearance on next week's show.
-Apollo Crews d. Christopher Girard(aka Biff Busick on the independent circuit) with the delayed Blue Thunder Bomb (5:11).
-Backstage:  Alex Reyes interviewed NXT Women's Champion Bayley Rose & Carmella Van Damme about their match tonight against Nia Jax & Eva Marie.
-Earlier this week:  Security cameras caught NXT Tag Team Champions Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder attacking Enzo Amore in the parking lot of the Performance Center.  "Big Cass" Colin Cassady made the save, but the damage was done.
-Tommaso Ciampa d. Bull Dempsey via bridging Fujiwara armbar (4:18).
-Backstage:  Samoa Joe was not impressed with Regal's decision...NXT's popular because of him and he should be entitled to a title shot.  Sami Zayn will have to suffer twice as much in a best-of-three-falls match...
-Backstage:  Alex Reyes interviewed Sami Zayn about his upcoming contenders' match.
-Nia Jax & Eva Marie d. NXT Women's Champion Bayley Rose & Carmella Van Damme; Nia hit three Legdrops O' Doom on Carmella and Eva tagged herself into the match to get the pin (2:14 + 6:07 aired).
-Backstage:  Rich Brennan interviewed Regal and NXT Champion Finn Bálor...Regal noted that Bálor is approaching the record for the longest reign as NXT titleholder.  With that in mind, next week's main event will be Bálor against the person who holds said record:  Adrian Neville.
