WWE NXT
-Commentators: Tom Phillips & Corey Graves.
-Moments ago: General Manager S. William Regal met with Bobby Roode in the hallway...Roode had a suggestion for Regal to consider.
-Regal presided over the contract signing for the Takeover Brooklyn match between Bayley Rose and NXT Women's Champion Asuka Urai. Bayley admitted that she wasn't truly ready for Asuka in their previous encounter(as evidenced by the title belt on Asuka's shoulder), but she vowed to put the first loss on Asuka's record and regain her championship in the same building where she won it the first time. Asuka kept it short and sweet, telling Bayley she respected her but she didn't have what it took to beat her...Bayley refused to back down and the words got heated before Asuka signed her side of the contract. Asuka insistently offered a handshake, but Bayley slapped her hand aside and bumped her away as she left the ring...ooh. Bayley didn't leave it at that as she turned around and re-entered the ring for the requisite staredown before Asuka took her leave.
-The Authors Of Pain(Sunny Dhinsa and Gzim Selmani)(w/ Paul Ellering) d. Rob Ryzin & Adrian Nails when Selmani pinned Ryzin after The Authors hit the Russian legsweep/lariat combo (1:20). The Authors sought to do some post-match damage, but TM-61(Nick Miller & Shane Thorne) ran in to fight with them...unfortunately, that didn't turn out well for them.
-Backstage: Andrea DeMarco interviewed Shinsuke Nakamura about NXT Champion Samoa Joe's threats toward him...Nakamura said he wasn't a hard man to find and he may just find Joe first.
-Andrade Almas d. Angelo Dawkins after a hammerlock DDT (2:21). After the match, Bobby Roode made a grand entrance(#GLORIOUSBOMB~!) to offer a backhanded congratulations on Andrade's victory...and to inform him that he would be facing him at Takeover Brooklyn.
-Backstage in Regal's office: Austin Aries wanted a spot on the Takeover card. Regal had the perfect opponent for him: "No Way" Jose Valenzuela. Notable: Regal's brass knuckles were prominently displayed on his desk.
-Billie Kay d. Liv Morgan after IT'S THE BIG FOOT (3:11).
-Backstage in Regal's office: Regal complimented Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano on their match in the Cruiserweight Classic...then told them that they would be getting their shot at the NXT Tag Team Titles held by The Revival(Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder) at Takeover Brooklyn.
-Debuting at Takeover Brooklyn: Ember Moon.
-Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano d. Patrick Clark & Tucker Knight; Gargano pinned Knight after a close-range superkick while Ciampa delivered a running knee strike to the back of the head (7:34 aired).
-Next week: Hideo Itami. 'Nuff said.
-Backstage: Andrea DeMarco interviewed Mojo Rawley about his match with NXT Champion Samoa Joe. He was focused on the task at hand...
-NXT Champion Samoa Joe d. Mojo Rawley(non-title) with the Kokita Clutch (4:33). Joe locked Mojo in the Kokita Clutch after the bell as referees tried to pry him off, but Nakamura's entrance finally drew his attention. Officials and security held back Joe as Nakamura entered the ring...and Nakamura playfully grabbed his nose and taunted him as the show faded out.
WWE Cruiserweight Classic

-Kota Ibushi d. Cedric Alexander with the Golden Star Bomb(sitout Last Ride powerbomb) (15:01).
-Next week: Akira Tozawa vs. Jack Gallagher, Ho Ho Lun vs. Noam Dar, and Brian Kendrick vs. Tony Nese.
-As Cedric was making his exit, the fans chanted "Please Sign Cedric"...and Triple H made an appearance to shake Cedric's hand and personally escort him backstage.
