NWA Anarchy TV #276

With several cool wrestlers coming out of this organization(and its predecessor NWA Wildside), I got hooked on their television program.  It was briefly aired on my local PAX affiliate along with some other wrestling programming, but now I watch it only at the NWA Anarchy website.

-----

Your hosts are the returning Greg Hunter & John Johnson...it's Hardcore Hell clipshow time!

Todd Sexton vs. Seth Delay vs. Steven Walters:  Walters adds himself to the match...why not?  Even Sexton jokes about how many multi-way schmozz matches are on the card and they all make fun of each other's tag team gimmicks.  Finally Sexton bashes Walters off the apron to kickstart the match and Seth nearly steals a win with a cheap rollup before Todd kicks out.  When I figure out the face/heel alignments of everyone involved, I'll let you know.  Sexton and Delay briefly get on the same page against Walters but it doesn't last.  Sexton gets Delay in a figure-four leglock...and when Seth whiffs on a slingshot elbowdrop, Todd grabs him in an Anaconda Vice at the same time!  Both men manage to reach the ropes to escape the holds...finishers fly but the third man keeps breaking up the pin covers.  Delay hits the Kool Krusher and Overnight Sensation on Sexton but can't put him away.  Walters cuts off a top-rope move by Delay with a huge Frankensteiner, leaving all three men down.  Todd disposes of Seth but gets nailed by Walters...Steven goes for a springboard move, but gets superkicked coming down!  That's enough for Sexton to get the pinfall on Walters...

LIGHTS OFF LIGHTS ON...and Jay Clinton is in the ring!  He breaks out the strut for fun, then gets knocked out by Delay's brass knuckles.  Seth helps Walters to his feet and calls Sexton back to the ring for a "sexy party" hip-swivel...yup.

Shaun Tempers(w/ Bo Newsom) vs. Brodie Ray Chase for the T.V. Title:  Tempers bails out of the ring early to consult with Bo, so Chase goes OLDSCHOOL~! with a double nogginknocker.  Shaun rolls out AGAIN and Brodie goes after him, but this time Tempers snaps the throat off the top rope.  Shaun maintains control, cutting off a rally with a dropkick to the knee before hooking a half-crab.  Chase powers out of a Rude Awakening atttempt, then disposes of Newsom's presence on the apron by way of shoving Tempers into him!  Both men are down and Bo distracts the ref after passing in the Temptation For Men...Chase gets it in the eyes and Tempers hits a Northern Lights suplex...for two!  Tempers toys with the temporarily-blinded challenger...but he plays around for too long and Chase starts to fire back.  He literally wipes his eyes on the back of the ref's shirt and finally gains the edge...but Tempers blocks a double-arm DDT attempt by powering him into the turnbuckles.  Rude Awakening is escaped again but Tempers gets caught in an F-U!  THE STRAPS COME DOWN, but the delay allows Tempers to kick out of the cover at two.  Superplex is set up but the champ fights him off...another Rude Awakening attempt is blocked by Chase holding the ropes and Chase bops Newsom for good measure!  KICK WHAM DOUBLE-ARM DDT and Brodie Ray Chase is a two-time champ!

John Johnson(w/ Jacoby Boykins) enlightens us...he's given Young Lions' Champion Aden Chambers the night off, so Jacoby Boykins will take that slot in the young lions' four-way dance.

Jacob Ashworth vs. Skirra Corvus(w/ Enoch Tsarion & Pandora) vs. Bo Newsom vs. Jacoby Boykins(w/ John Johnson):  We finally have a name for Tsarion's female companion.  With Johnson at ringside, Timmy D joins Hunter at the commentary table.  Boykins catches a cross-body by Corvus and fallaway-slams him over the top rope right onto Newsom and Ashworth!  Ashworth is bloodied at some point in this chaos.  Corvus is oddly in the position of being a face against Johnson's family, especially with two heels and one face comprising the rest of the matchup.  Boykins attempts to suplex Newsom, but Bo counters into a small package for the flash pin to eliminate The Alabama Ambassador.

With the complexion of the match altered, Corvus' main target is no longer a factor and he's back in heel mode to an extent.  Corvus manages to catch Bo in a sick hanging version of the Graveyard Shift from the turnbuckles...and now it's one-on-one.  Tsarion distracts the ref as Pandora trips up Ashworth, allowing Corvus to deliver IT'S THE BIG FOOT on Ashworth...for two.  Jacob attempts El Big Comeback, is briefly cut off, but maneuvers Corvus into his full nelson wheelbarrow faceplant(Ashes To Ashes) to notch the victory!  He's officially the top contender to the Young Lions' Title...all that's left is Aden Chambers.  That title shot will happen at the next Anarchy show!
