-Heavy Machinery(Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight) d. Ricardo Watts & Hector Kunsman; Dozovic pinned Watts(in theory) after picking up both opponents at once to deliver the assisted World's Strongest Slam with Knight (1:42).  After the match, Dozovic & Knight said they had their sights set on NXT Tag Team Champions The Authors Of Pain(Akam Dhinsa & Rezar Selmani).
-Backstage:  NXT Champion "The Glorious" Bobby Roode had a talk with Kona Reeves...
-Backstage:  Do It Yourself(Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) were interviewed about the NXT Tag Team Title situation...they took exception to Heavy Machinery declaring that they are the only team who can contend with The Authors Of Pain.  They still haven't received a two-on-two rematch for the belts, so in their minds, the line starts behind them.
-Hideo Itami d. Kona Reeves with the Go 2 Sleep (2:10).
-Vignette:  Who Is Roderick Strong?  He talks about his fiancee, MMA competitor Marina Shafir, who recently had the couple's first child.  The topic moves to his independent wrestling history and then his journey to NXT, something he wasn't sure would ever happen.  Stills are shown of him in Ring Of Honor against Kevin Steen(Owens), Tyler Black(Seth Rollins), and some guy named Kazuchika Okada.
-Backstage in General Manager S. William Regal's office:  Regal spoke with Bobby Roode after his upcoming title defense at NXT Takeover...Roode didn't want his moneymaker face damaged by a potential title match against Hideo Itami.  He would have to earn his title shot...Regal agreed on that much.  He was impressed with the recent videos for Roderick Strong, so next week it would be Itami vs. Strong for the next title shot.  Strong entered the office as Roode was departing, resulting in a brief staredown.
-Next week:  Aleister Black returns to action.
-A women's battle royal ended in a no-contest.  Eliminations:  Victoria Gonzalez by Billie Kay & Peyton Royce, Bianca Blair by Billie & Peyton, Rachael Evers(Ellering) by Aliyah Areebi, Sarah Bridges by Liv Morgan, Sonya Deville(fka Daria Berenato) and Lacey Evans(fka Macey Estrella) by Peyton and Billie(respectively), Kimberly Frankele by Ruby Riot, Candice LeRae by Billie, Aliyah by Nikki Cross, Liv by Cross, Billie by Ember Moon, Peyton by Ember.  It came down to Ember, Ruby, and Nikki Cross when NXT Women's Champion Asuka Urai attacked the remaining three women (11:15 aired).  Asuka threw Ember into the ringpost and she crashed hard to the arena floor (resulting in a shoulder injury); she laid out Ruby and Nikki after that, declaring that no one was ready for her...but General Manager Regal announced that it would be a four-corner title match at Takeover!

TNA XPlosion

-Commentator:  Josh Mathews.
-Mahabali Shera d. Fallah Bahh with the Skyhigh (4:47 aired).  Bahh attacked Shera from behind after the match, finishing the job with a Banzai Drop.
