Commentators: Bret Wolverton & Jonathan Feltner.
"Sexxy" Leon Saver vs. Eli Daniels vs. Ethan Case vs. The Laredo Kid: Things get chaotic right away as I try to keep the new guys straight. Case has the peroxide-colored hair, Kid has the mask, Saver has the pink tights, and Eli...is the other guy. I don't envy the referee in this kind of match...there are no tags so all four are in the ring at once. Saver counters a Case powerbomb into a rana for a CLOSE near-fall, but this only seems to tick off Case...however, Case gets small-packaged by Saver for the real pin not long after that.
"The Encore" Kevin Blue vs. "The Temptation" Shaun Tempers(w/ Agent/Attorney Jeff G. Bailey) for the Young Lions' Title: Blue retained his title against Tempers at Seasons' Beatings; it was considered an upset due to Tempers' experience edge and resume of previous championships. Tempers has been Heavyweight, T.V., and Tag Champ in Anarchy(not to mention NWA North American Champion) but decided to pursue the one belt he had yet to hold. Blue goes on the attack and gets several near-falls in a row, including a quick rollup out of the corner(similar to the end of their previous bout). This title once had restrictions of 25 years of age and 200 pounds, but those haven't been mentioned in a while. Tempers slows the pace to his advantage...it's noted that Slim J is the only "Grand Slam" winner in the promotion(having held all four championships).
Blue escapes a chinlock via jawbreaker and a re-entry sunset flip gets two, but Tempers stops him with a clothesline for two. Blue makes the comeback for real...Flying Jalapeno times two, then a cross-bodyblock gets two. Snap neckbreaker...for two. Tempers blocks a corner boot once, but not twice...that gets two. Tempers rolls out of the ring for a conference with Bailey, then stops Blue's suicide dive with a forearm to the mush. Beelzebomb(tigerdriver)...gets 2 1/2! Temper-Pedic(cobra clutch backbreaker) is countered with a mid-air armdrag by Blue...palm strike sets up a fireman's carry, but Tempers slides out only for Blue to reverse into an O'Connor Roll...for two. The kickout sends Blue in Bailey's direction and Jeff G. blinds him with the "Temptation" cologne spray! The referee was checking on Tempers and didn't see it...one Rude Awakening later, we have a newwwww Young Lions' Champion!
Wild Billy Buck vs. Corey Hollis for the T.V. Title: This shapes up to a sportsmanlike bout as they shake hands to start things. Hollis' Alabama Attitude tag partner Mike Posey "borrows" Feltner's chair at the broadcast booth...once again, things are JUST FINE between the tag partners. On top of that, Posey doesn't understand why the fans have taken a liking to Hollis while stll hating him...heh. They avoid each other's finishers in the early going(Buck Wild superkick for the champion, spinning elbowsmash for the challenger). Posey hypes Hollis' participation in the Ring Of Honor Top Prospect Tournament...he notes that he was also in the tournament, of course. It's a competitive matchup...they trade control a few times until Hollis gets a sustained advantage.
Hollis gets a near-fall with a Falcon Arrow, but Buck comes back with a spinebuster out of nowhere...for two. Holly returns fire with a Headturner neckbreaker(a la Michael McGillicutty)...for two. Third floor...splash HITS but only gets two. Buck fires off the superkick out of nowhere...and Corey tumbles out of the ring so Buck can't make the pin cover. Buck goes out after him and tries to pin him in the ring...for two. Figure-four leglock...no, Hollis kicks him into the turnbuckles and hits a spinaround neckbreaker drop...instead of going for the pin, he grabs the crossface chicken wing! Buck's in big trouble...but he keeps his arm up on the third drop and backs Hollis into the corner to escape. Buck double-legs Corey to the mat and hooks a modified version of his usual figure-four in the middle of the ring...Hollis finally fights out of it. Buck goes for the leg again and gets small-packaged...for two. A quick exchange leads to Buck ducking the spinning elbowsmash and hitting his second superkick of the match...that'll do it as Buck retains the Television Title!
Posey goes to check on his partner but Corey doesn't seem to want the help...Posey removes his shirt and sends a few choice words in Buck's direction. Feltner(who is also the ring announcer) says Posey is getting a title shot in a few weeks...against Heavyweight Champion Mikael Judas! Posey is thrown for a loop and doesn't notice the brief show of mutual respect between Buck and Hollis...
Tag Team Champion Iceberg vs. "Wrestling's Most Dangerous Weapon" Geter: I wouldn't look for any flying headscissors in this one...these are two big boys locking horns. Geter rushes Iceberg at the bell...they have some history as Iceberg was the special guest referee when Geter lost the title to Judas. A missed avalanche allows Iceberg to fight back...he points the referee in another direction to cover for a questionable kick. That only seems to tick off Geter...it's not often you see Iceberg manhandled by anyone. Iceberg manages to low-bridge Geter out of the ring and follows him to the floor...a whip-reversal sequence sends Geter into the ringpost, then the Urban Assault Squad(Shadow Jackson & Nemesis) attack Iceberg for the DQ!
Mikael Judas makes the save but it's still two-on-three...Shadow & Nemesis assault Iceberg on the floor as Judas and Geter battle in the ring. Jeff G. Bailey brings out Se7en and Tempers and now it's two-on-five...paging the good guys' locker room! Enter Slim J and The Hate Junkies..now the numbers are even! The referee decides to make it an impromptu ten-man tag!
Heavyweight Champion "The Priest Of Punishment" Mikael Judas, Tag Team Champions Iceberg Slim(Iceberg & Slim J), & The Hate Junkies("The Lethal Dose" Stryknyn & "The Human Hand Grenade" Dany Only) vs. "Wrestling's Most Dangerous Weapon" Geter, "The Deadly Sin" Se7en, Young Lions' Champion "The Temptation" Shaun Tempers, & The Urban Assault Squad(Shadow Jackson & Nemesis)(w/ Agent/Attorney Jeff G. Bailey): Things somehow settle into standard tag rules as I try to fill out all the nicknames in this match...heh. Only takes a beating for his side but surprises Se7en with a back suplex...and the hot tag is made to Slim J! The house is cleaned, but Se7en finally mows down Slim with a huge clothesline. Now it's J's turn for abuse, but Judas gets the tag and it's time for more housecleaning. Judas goes after Se7en but gets taken out by Geter...Stryknyn dives off the top rope onto the wrestlers on the floor, then Slim J adds a moonsault press off the top to the floor! Se7en takes out Judas with a Brogue Kick, but Geter tags himself into the match...big splash and Geter pins the Heavyweight Champion!
The Elite/Unforgivable Blackness group gets the win, but there's a problem between Geter and Se7en...it's announced that they'll fight in a few weeks for the next title shot! The good guys hold the high ground as the dueling stables keep each other apart on the arena floor...
