Commentators: Bret Wolverton & Jonathan Feltner.
The Squared Circle(Jeremy Foster & Jake Coal) vs. Hot Commodity(C.B. Suave & Tommy Penirelli): Foster & Coal show some nice double-team maneuvers in the early minutes and keep Penirelli isolated, but Suave raises enough of a ruckus for Penirelli to back-suplex Coal. Penirelli's insistent nickname(per Feltner) is "The Italian-American Bad Boy". C.B. is notably away from his corner on a few occasions when Penirelli wants to tag...hmm. Foster gets the tag and rallies against Penirelli, hitting a chain of three Northern Lights suplexes...for two. Penirelli rolls through into an anklelock out of nowhere...but THEN Suave tags himself into the match. He lays back on Foster in an arrogant cover...and Foster crucifixes him to the mat for the flash pin!
Dany Only speaks to the fans...he worked for the opporunity to wrestle in the Church Of Southern Wrestling, but he's had injury issues for most of that time. He says that he spent fourteen months in Afghanistan and broke his foot during that time...he got it fixed and returned to Anarchy Wrestling, but re-broke his foot and had to get another pin put in it. He says that he learned from his fellow soldiers to not give up...so once his foot is healed, he'll be back in the ring.
Before Only can leave the ring, he's attacked by the Urban Assault Squad(Shadow Jackson & Nemesis)...he fights them off until Shadow drops him with the 1031 Spinebuster. They pull the brace off his foot and wrap a chair around it, then Nemesis bashes the broken foot with a chair! The UAS members trash-talk the fans with chairs in hand as referees and trainers check on Only at ringside...
"The Sin City Saint" Brandon Parker & Wade Adams vs. The Urban Assault Squad(Shadow Jackson & Nemesis): This breaks down into a brawl before the opening bell can even sound...FINALLY the match officially starts once we're down to two guys in the ring. The UAS members beat down Adams after that; Adams gets away from Shadow with a jawbreaker, but Nemesis bashes Parker off the apron. Shadow hits a Stone Cold Stunner on Adams, then Nemesis adds a running senton and Jackson gets the three-count.
"The Priest Of Punishment" Mikael Judas vs. Mike Posey for the Heavyweight Title: Posey wastes no time in clipping the knee during Judas' entrance pose...that may be his only chance in this one. Posey chokes Judas with his own ring robe, then hits a series of snap legdrops before going topside for the Alabama Jam...and he hits it! Cover...doesn't even get a two-count. Judas decides "enough of this" and throttles Posey...Posey escapes the predicament but runs into IT'S THE BIG FOOT. Posey tries to crawl away but Judas pulls him back to the ring by his foot. Judas military-presses Posey and throws him back in the ring over the top rope...but Geter attacks Judas from behind! The referee is checking on Posey and Judas brawls with Geter back through the entrance curtain...the official has no idea what happened to Judas and counts him out, giving Posey the unlikely win!
The title doesn't change hands, of course, but that doesn't stop Posey from celebrating like mad...Judas finally returns to the ring and Posey bails over the guardrail.
"The Seven-Figure Deal" Ace Rockwell vs. "The Encore" Kevin Blue vs. "Hit For Hire" Bobby Moore vs. The Vandal, four-way dance: The winner of this match will earn a shot at new Young Lions' Champion Shaun Tempers. This is under tag rules with two legal men in the ring at once; it plays out like a tag match for a while, but anyone can tag anyone. The commentators wonder about Blue's rematch status as he's fighting for a shot at the title he just lost. Things break down and Blue cleans house, but he gets cut off by Vandal. Blue comes back with a corner dropkick, then drops Vandal with the Blue Cross(Air Raid Crash) for the first elimination!
The referee gets occupied with Rockwell for some reason and Moore enters with the loaded elbowpad...he levels Blue from behind and pins him. That leaves Ace and Moore...Moore blocks an attempt at Aces High(Diamond Cutter) but Rockwell keeps the momentum, hitting Paydirt for a close near-fall. The advantage shifts back and forth and Moore finally hits a choke STO...for 2 1/2. Moore goes for the questionable elbowpad again...and the referee stops him from using it. The momentary distraction allows Ace to take him over in a side-headlock and cradle him for the pin just like that!
Moore throws a tantrum after the match and refuses to leave the ring, even as the ring announcer starts the introductions for the main event of the show...
Iceberg Slim(Iceberg & Slim J) vs. The Washington Bullets(Jon & Trey Williams) for the Tag Team Titles: The champs enter and Slim decides to handle the Bobby Moore situation...but that allows the Bullets to jump Iceberg on the floor. Slim gets sidetracked by the attack on his partner and Moore levels him with the loaded elbowpad! Slim is knocked out as Iceberg continues to fight with the Bullets...promoter Franklin Dove and representative Bill Behrens check on J in the meantime. The referee asks Iceberg if he's willing to start the match under these circumstances and "The No-Pain Train" says he's fine with it...cue the bell!
The referee disposes of a chair that the Bullets brought into the ring...Wolverton notes that a fan put a ten-count on the chair and tried to call for the bell. Ha ha. Despite Iceberg's size advantage aganst either of the Bullets one-on-one, it's still TECHNICALLY a tag match though it's essentially a handicap match at this point. The Bullets beat down Iceberg for most of the bout...they can't quite double-suplex Iceberg and Iceberg suplexes both challengers! Iceberg goes into house-afire mode despite the lack of a tag...he throws Trey out of the ring and hits the Ground Zero splash on Jon, but Trey rather DIRECTLY distracts the ref to prevent a potential three-count. Iceberg corners Trey but Jon sneaks in an unseen low blow. They double-team the hell out of the big man, finishing with a double Brogue Kick...and Jon shockingly pins Iceberg! We have newwwww Anarchy Tag Team Champions!
Next week: Geter vs. Se7en, plus Shaun Tempers vs. Steven Walters for the Young Lions' Title.
