Roman Reigns & Alexander Rusev
We knew #1 going in. This Rumble started with the same two guys that ended last year's Rumble.
Final Entrant(#30):
Triple H
Triple H has drawn #1 twice(1996 and 2006), so his luck changed in 2016. Of course, one would suspect that some "executive influence" played a part in his draw.
Winner:
Triple H(#30)
Only the third time that #30 has won the Rumble. This was HHH's second Rumble win; his previous Rumble victory was in 2002.
Runner-Up:
Dean Ambrose(#19)
This was the third time that #19 was the runner-up; the first time was in the first Rumble in 1988(One Man Gang) when there were only twenty participants.
Endurance Mark(per Wikipedia):
Roman Reigns(59:50)
Honorable mention to Chris Jericho(50:50), especially since he was in the ring for the whole duration. Steve Austin also did an angle in 1999 where he was beaten up by the heel stable du jour and was "out of the match" for a while before returning to the ring.
Most Eliminations:
5(tie between Roman Reigns & Braun Strowman)
Strowman got several notable eliminations, including single-handedly throwing out Kane and Big Show and assisting in the elimination of Brock Lesnar(though that happened after he had already been eliminated).
