Lucha Underground Season 2 Episode 1 (WOO~!)

-Commentators:  Matt Striker & Vampiro.
-Vampiro was recovering in a psych ward...he was granted his release, but he was told to avoid the people and places that trigger his violence impulses.  It was clear that he wasn't quite sane, but Matt Striker picked him up and they set out for the temple.
-Backstage:  Catrina Perez seemed to have commandeered promoter Dario Cueto's office...she was visited by Gift Of The Gods Champion Fenix who wanted a shot at LU Champion Mil Muertes.  She told him to wait a week, but he may not have that title by then as he had a defense of his own championship tonight.  Muertes surveyed the event from his throne...
-King Cuerno d. Fenix with a double-leghook Tombstone to win the Gift Of The Gods Title (7:49).
-Backstage:  Son Of Havoc, Angélico, & Ivelisse Velez reunited...Catrina told them that Muertes wanted them to fight each other.  It would be a triple threat match with the winner getting a shot at Muertes later in the night.  Ivelisse promised that she would win the title and then come looking for Catrina...from there, Catrina personally met with ring announcer Melissa Santos to pass along the information on the next matchup...
-Backstage:  Catrina met with Cuerno...apparently they had a deal of some kind.  Cuerno assured her that she had nothing to worry about and neither did Mil.
-Ivelisse Velez won a triple threat match with Son Of Havoc and Angélico to earn a LU Title shot at Mil Muertes when she pinned Angélico with a La Majistral cradle (6:10).
-Somewhere a long way from Boyle Heights:  Several strangers cross paths with Black Lotus and ask her about the temple...
-Mil Muertes(w/ Catrina Perez & Trios Champions The Disciples Of Death(Barrio Negro, El Siniestro De La Muerte, & Trece) d. Ivelisse Velez(w/ Son Of Havoc & Angélico) to retain the Lucha Underground Title; The Disciples carried off Havoc and Angélico before the match began.  Ivelisse nearly won after a tornado DDT and got another near-fall via rollup after Mil speared Catrina by accident, but Muertes won after the Flatliner (4:34).  Prince Puma saved Ivelisse from a post-match Flatliner...then Pentagon Jr. entered the ring to blindside Mil with a backcracker before snapping his arm with the armbar/hammerlock combo hold.
-Outside:  Lotus led the strangers to a meeting with Dario Cueto.  He invited them into the "Temple"...only it was simply the door to Matanza's holding room and it sounded like they didn't enjoy their stay...
