Brutus Magnus vs. Robbie E(ckos)(w/ Robbie T(erry)), Bound For Glory Series: Wow, one of these guys might just win a match! So who's the face HERE? Well, seeing as how everyone's gotta face everyone else one-on-one at some point in this series, we've gotta do the heel vs. heel matches SOMETIME. OK, looks like Magnus is gonna be the face for the evening. A distraction by Robbie T allows E to bash Magnus off the apron to the floor...T adds a cheapshot to ensure E's unfair advantage.
We are reminded that E's bringing up the rear in the standings with a whopping five points...of course he won't stop reminding people that he beat Jeff Hardy(by countout). Magnus breaks out of a sleeperhold with a back suplex to start his comeback...he hooks a Texas Cloverleaf but Terry climbs up on the apron. Magnus sends him back to the floor with a well-placed kick but Eckos rolls him up...for two. E teases the elevated DDT but Magnus counters out into the Mag Daddy Driver! Second-turnbuckle elbowdrop connects and Magnus picks up the pinfall win for seven points.

Earlier today: Briley Pierce(who still works here) got comments from Richie Steamboat about his tournament match tonight...opponent Jinder Mahal interjected his own bilingual opinion.
Richie Steamboat vs. Jinder Mahal, Gold Rush Tournament Semifinal: The NXT Title belt is on display on the entrance stage as it was last week. Steamboat beat Leo Kruger to advance to this matchup while Mahal defeated Bo Dallas. Jinder brawls his way into an early advantage but Richie surprises him with a dropkick and ARMDRAG~! Mahal stops that momentum with a Stungun, then follows up with the high knee for a quick two-count. Steamboat gets in a flurry of offense but misses the enzuigiri...only to escape the camel clutch setup for a bodyscissors rollup and two-count. Crucifix/sunset flip...for two. Backslide...no, Mahal powers out of the move and hits a swinging neckbreaker...for two. Jinder sets up a superplex but Richie fights him off...only to miss the missile dropkick! The camel clutch is applied and Steamboat has nowhere to go...finally being forced to tap out.
Briley Pierce still works here and interviews Leo Kruger backstage...he's REALLY not taking his tournament loss very well...
Heath Slater wants to put the past in the past...he issues an open challenge, which never works out too well. Looks like the past will be paying Heath another visit...
Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Heath Slater: The match is fairly competitive, at any rate...Scotty pulls out a new trick by hanging in the ropes sideways when Heath whips him in that direction. Scotty catches him by surprise with the two-handed face spike and it's time for the W-O-R-M...that'll do it.
Jimmy & Jey Uso vs. The Ascension(Conor O'Brian & Kenneth Cameron): Hey, a tag team feud! The Ascension members upset the Usos in their previous NXT encounter so let's see if they can even the score. Cameron tries to headbutt Jey...um, no. A corner move by Jimmy goes awry as Kenneth crotches him on the middle turnbuckle, then takes him down from that spot with a neckbreaker. Jimmy takes a beating and fights back...Cameron stuns him with the sitout jawbreaker and O'Brian follows up with the Flapjack...for two. Jimmy hits the Samoan Drop on Conor out of nowhere...and tags are made on both sides! The grass hut as afire as Jey rallies against Cameron...Umaga Smash hits but Conor breaks up the pin attempt. Jimmy enters the ring to deal with O'Brian and they take it to the floor, then Jey superkicks Cameron and goes to the top rope. However, O'Brian shoves him off the ropes, causing him to take a nasty spill to the apron en route to the floor...and that's somehow grounds for a DQ? Random...but that leaves Jimmy at the mercy of the Ascension duo and they leave him laying after TOTAL ELIMINATION~!
Briley tries to interview Steamboat backstage but gets blown off...
Matt Striker does a backstage interview with Hunico & Donny Camacho about their upset loss to Mike Dalton & Jason Jordan...Hunico claims he was sick that week, plus Camacho was depressed over losing his burro. Suuuuure.
Raquel Diaz talks to a nearby mirror...
Seth Rollins vs. Michael McGillicutty, Gold Rush Tournament Semifinal: Rollins beat Drew McIntyre to reach this match...McGillicutty pinned Justin Gabriel to advance in the tourney. The winner will face Jinder Mahal in the finals to crown the first NXT Champion. YAY WRESTLING~! to start as they feel each other out. MM keeps backing into the ropes to stall, finally getting clotheslined to the floor as a result...then Seth nails the suicide dive! He takes McGillicutty back into the ring only to get stunned by a big right fist out of nowhere...just like that, MM gets a close near-fall.
McGillicutty takes control from there...Seth comes back but misses a corner forearm. MM follows up with the Perfect necksnap and a Saito Suplex. Cover...for two. McGillicutty avoids a big roundhouse kick to hit another Saito Suplex...for two. Headturner neckbreaker is countered into a backslide attempt, but McGillicutty unloads with another big fist to stop that. MM tries for a superplex but is blocked...Rollins sunset-flips down for a powerbomb attempt but McGillicutty punches his way out of that. MM pulls him back to his feet but that backfires as Rollins powers him up into a running turnbuckle powerbomb! Off the ropes for the Blackout...he nails it and gets the victory to advance to the tournament finals!
Cue Mahal's music...and cue the big confrontation to tease the tournament finals. General Manager Dusty Rhodes arrives to restore order...but Jinder still attacks Seth from behind. Seth dropkicks him and clotheslines him out of the ring to hold the high ground at the end of the show...

Jimmy & Jey Uso vs. Michael McGillicutty & Johnny Curtis: YAY TAG TEAM WRESTLING~! The Usos show their tag team continuity in the early going, but a unique neckbreaker by Curtis allows his team to isolate Jey. However, a missed kneedrop off the second rope allows Jimmy to get the hot tag and clean house. Jimmy takes out MM but Curtis clotheslines him to the floor where McGillicutty gets in a cheapshot...thus the tide turns once again. Jimmy tries to get something going only to be cut off by a McGillicutty dropkick. Hell breaks loose as Curtis tries a cheapshot on Jey only to get popped himself, but the ref gets tied up with Jey and Curtis nails Jimmy on the way out. Still, Jimmy is able to toss both opponents to the floor, finally getting the opening to tag Jey! Grass hut afire, Umaga Smash on McGillicutty, powerslam on Curtis, alley-oop Samoan Drop on McGillicutty! Tag to Jimmy, Headshrinker Splash on MM, and that's the ballgame!
Alex Riley vs. Drew McIntyre: Wow, one of these guys might just win a match! Okay, Riley did upset Dolph Ziggler on Raw a few weeks ago...we'll see if he can keep his momentum going. Drew has a fractured wrist(according to Stanford) and is sporting a cast...Riley tries to go after the wrist and Drew begs off in the ropes, only to surprise Riley with IT'S THE BIG FOOT. The momentum shifts a few times but Riley returns the favor for that earlier boot, then nails the clothesline off the top...for two. McIntyre stalls in the ropes again only to nail Riley with a clothesline, then slams him and goes to the second rope...legdrop misses! KICK WHAM SNAP NECKBREAKER(Final Score, sayeth Stanford) and Riley picks up the victory.
Justin Gabriel vs. Damien Sandow: Fine main event...Gabriel gets an early advantage and takes out Sandow with a somersault dive off the apron. STO nearly sets up the Fall From Grace but Sandow rolls out of the ring to regroup. Baseball slide misses and Sandow runs Gabriel ribs-first into the ring apron a few times...that'll slow him down. Sandow delivers the dreaded Elbow Of Disdain but it's not enough to put Gabriel away...Justin makes the comeback and hits the springboard cross-body...for two. O'Connor Roll out of nowhere...gets two. Sandow stops him with a quick shoulder to the gut but Gabriel counters a slam into an Eye Of The Hurricane. Springboard moonsault hits but only gets 2 1/2. Big kick puts Sandow on his back once again and he goes to the top rope...but Sandow hits the ropes, causing Gabriel to land painfully on the turnbuckles. Sandow pummels him with knees to the face, then follows up with the Iron Lotus to notch the victory.

Bound For Glory Series: Samoa Joe d. Brutus Magnus via La Majistral cradle. Magnus attacked Joe with a chair after the match.
Bound For Glory Series: A.J. Styles d. Tag Team Champion Christopher Daniels(w/ Frankie Kazarian). The referee ejected Kazarian from ringside before the match, but Kazarian secretly returned to ringside. He tripped up Styles during a re-entry suplex and held his foot as Daniels fell on top for the three-count, but the referee caught Kaz in the act and waved off the pin. A.J. capitalized by hitting Daniels with the Pele Kick for the win, then delivered a post-match Styles Clash for good measure.
Brooke Tessmacher d. Madison Rayne with the atomic facebuster to regain the Women's Title; the debuting Taryn Terrell(fka Tiffany in WWE) was the special guest referee appointed by Brooke Hogan.
Bound For Glory Series: Jeff Hardy d. Bully Ray. James Storm(still being accused of being associated with the Aces & Eights) came out to ringside for the match and was wiped out by an errant Hardy plancha when Ray pulled him in the way. The Aces & Eights came out but were quickly run off by Heavyweight Champion Austin Aries and Kurt Angle...the match continued and Hardy got the win after a Twist Of Fate and rollup. Ray attacked Hardy after the match and argued with Storm, shoving him...Storm unloaded with a Last Call superkick, but Ray dodged and Hardy took the kick instead. Ray left the ring and Storm stood over Hardy...then the Aces & Eights returned to the ring and attacked Storm.
