Richie Steamboat vs. Antonio Cesaro for the FCW 15 Title: These two had some classic battles over the medallion...on the offhand chance that this match ends in a draw, there will be automatic sudden-death overtime to determine a winner. Russo mistakenly notes that Steamboat is 3-0 against Cesaro...the first two matches were draws. The tempo picks up right away...not much of a feeling-out process in this matchup. They settle into a more technical exchange...ARMDRAGS~! Cesaro cuts off Steamboat's momentum with the pop-up European uppercut, but Richie rolls out of the ring to avoid the pin attempt. Cesaro has to throw him back in the ring before covering, only getting a two-count. Richie rolls out again for a breather and Cesaro has to retrieve him again as we hit the five-minute mark. Cesaro teases the Neutralizer...Richie backdrops him but Cesaro lands on the apron only to get clotheslined to the floor. Steamboat goes to the top rope and nails a huge plancha!
Cesaro turns the tide during the commercial break(with the aid of the guardrail, sayeth Russo) and keeps the champion grounded...CRAVATE~! Richie lands on top of a back suplex attempt...for two. Backslide...for two. Cesaro stops him in his tracks with a huge European uppercut...for two. We hit the ten-minute mark with the score still 0-0...Steamboat dishes out some chops but Cesaro throws him hard into the turnbuckles. Richie fights back from the apron and goes to the top...Steamboat Press hits but Cesaro rolls through...for 2 1/2! Cesaro throws him over the top rope...Richie tries to skin-the-cat but Cesaro catches him, resulting in a reversal sequence and a Cesaro pin attempt...for two. Three minutes to go...Steamboat rallies and hits the Slingblade...for 2 1/2. Back to the third floor, missile dropkick connects...for 2 1/2. Steamboat tilt-a-whirls into a DDT...for 2 1/2. This time it's Cesaro seeking refuge on the floor with two minutes to go...Richie brings him back into the ring but Cesaro again goes to the ropes. Cesaro snaps the throat off the top rope but he hasn't got much time left...Richie comes up with a victory roll out of nowhere for 2 1/2. One minute to go...Cesaro ducks a superkick attempt and dumps Richie out of the ring. Richie re-enters but runs into a deadlift gutwrench suplex...make it a chain of three! Cover...for 2 1/2. The time limit expires as Cesaro hits the Neutralizer...but the referee has to officially start the sudden-death overtime period so no pin is counted!
NOW we're into sudden-death...Cesaro goes for another Neutralizer but Steamboat reverses out of the predicament...SUPERKICK and that's the ballgame!
Benicio Salazar vs. Bray Wyatt: For those keeping score, Salazar is now maskless. Wyatt enlightens us on the way to the ring. He loves us but he won't save our world...he'd rather watch it burn. "Tiiiiime is on my side..." Wyatt starts off fast with the HUNDRED HAND SLAP~! before simply pummeling Salazar in the corner...he delivers a suplex throw before avalanching Benicio in the corner. Time for a dance, kiss on the forehead, and the Rapture...1-2-3. Wyatt even shakes the hand of his dazed opponent after the match...
Women's Champion Raquel Diaz is sporting a platinum-blonde hairstyle...okay.
Aiden English vs. Colin Cassady: Hey, one of these guys might just win a match! Cassady definitely has the size advantage...he keeps going for a full nelson but English escapes the predicament on two occasions. English gets in a few shots but IT'S THE BIG FOOT puts a stop to that. Cassady finally finishes with the East River Crossing(full nelson slam).
Seth Rollins vs. Bo Dallas vs. Kassius Ohno vs. Leo Kruger for the Heavyweight Title: All three challengers have opposed Seth in one-on-one competition in recent months...on top of that, Bo and Leo are former titleholders. As is often noted, the champion doesn't have to be defeated to lose the title in this style of matchup. Everyone goes for quick pins in the early going, leading to Leo ticking off everyone at once and getting triple-teamed for a short time. Kruger pulls Ohno to the floor and whips him into the STEEL steps, then Seth baseball-slides Kruger only to take a flurry of offense from Bo. Bo lines up for the spear but Leo trips him up and crotches him on the ringpost...ow. In fact, the referee calls for a trainer to check on Bo...he may be out of commission. Officials help Dallas to the back as Kruger takes control against Rollins(Ohno is still out on the floor)...
Kruger knocks Rollins to the floor but Ohno rejoins the match at that point...then Bo struggles back out to the ring! Bo cleans house on all three opponents, delivering a bulldog on Kruger and clothesline on Ohno at the same time...then Seth springboards in with a clothesline to take out Dallas! Now it's the champ's turn to clean house...but Bo levels him with a spear meant for Kruger! Bo still covers Seth...but Ohno breaks up the pin. Ohno gets Bo in a CRAVATE~! and turns it into a flippy neckbreaker...then nails Seth with the roaring elbow! Before Ohno can cover, Kruger gets him in an O'Connor Roll...Bo saves. Kruger tries to backslide Bo, then smartly turns around as Ohno loads up another roaring elbow, causing Ohno to hit Dallas! Kruger completes the backslide but Ohno has the presence of mind to break it up! Ohno takes out Kruger with one more roaring elbow but Rollins just barely breaks up that cover!
Kassius sets up the Ohno Blade on Seth but takes an enzuigiri instead...Rollins delivers two corner forearms on Ohno and tosses him to the floor, then sidesteps Bo's spear attempt to send HIM floorward as well. Seth goes to the top rope, but Kruger catches him on his shoulders...leading to a reversal sequence that ends in Rollins delivering the Blackout for the win to retain the title!
