Commentators: Tim E.D. & John Johnson.
Jacob Ashworth & Joey Rhymer vs. Tommy Daniels & C.B. Gibson: Rhymer is initially without a partner as Zach Daniels is MIA...but Ashworth comes out to take his place. Resident underdog Rhymer takes a beating for most of the match, but he avoids Daniels' blind charge into the corner and makes the tag to Ashworth! Daniels & Gibson bail out of the ring...and decide to stay out of the ring, so Ashworth & Rhymer win by countout. Out of nowhere, Skirra Corvus pops up at the broadcast position(freaking out Johnson) and dives onto Daniels & Gibson! The good guys stand tall but things aren't quite settled in this matter...
Anthony Henry vs. Brandon Parker for the Young Lions' Title: Parker decides to kick-start the matchup but Henry turns the tide and clotheslines the challenger out of the ring. Parker decides to take it slow in re-entering the ring and NOW we get the opening bell. YAY WRESTLING~! Parker takes control after yanking the champ into the turnbuckles by the tights...he seems to prefer the brute-force method of attack. The momentum swings a few times...Henry gets a close near-fall with a German suplex, but Parker surprises him with a backpack Stunner for his own two-count. Parker hits a unique elevated DDT variation...for 2 1/2. Parker attempts a Codebreaker but Henry blocks and turns him over into the Texas Cloverleaf in the middle of the ring! That's a tapout and Henry retains the title. As Henry takes his leave, Adrian Hawkins walks past him and clips Parker, locking him in the Sharpshooter! Hawkins leaves after exchanging a few choice words with Henry...
Billy Buck vs. Andrew Pendleton III, Gold Rush Qualifier: The winners of these qualifiers will go into a four-corner match at Hostile Environment...the winner gets a title shot of his choice with the stipulation of his choosing. These two are no strangers to each other, mostly encountering each other in past tag team competition. Good match between these two...Buck rallies late in the match, but Bobby Moore runs out with a well-timed foot grab as Buck is setting up for the Buck Wild superkick. That distraction is enough for Pendleton to roll him up with feet on the ropes for the tainted pinfall...but Buck immediately runs backstage to brawl with Moore! The wrestlers in the locker room have to break things up, in the confusion, Buck accidentally levels an innocent bystander(think it was Steven Walters) with a superkick meant for Moore.
Shaun Tempers(w/ Jeff G. Bailey & Jerry Palmer) vs. Slim J for the Heavyweight Title: For those keeping score, Tempers is still the NWA North American Champion and Johnson notes that he's approaching the one-year mark of his reign with that belt. For his part, Slim J has held practically every championship that's ever existed in NWA Wildside or Anarchy. Slim goes aerial once too often and gets dumped out of the ring at the waiting(stomping) feet of Agent/Attorney Jeff G. The champion goes after J's neck...then Palmer chokes J with his axhandle while Tempers has a discussion with the ref.
Tempers controls the pace but Slim J finally mounts a comeback, nearly winning with a Northern Lights suplex. Tempers cuts him off and hits the Beelzebomb tigerdriver...for two. Slim kicks him away and goes to the top with the flying inverted DDT...for two. Detox Driver is blocked but Slim backflips out of a Temperpedic(cobra clutch backbreaker) attempt...he attempts the Screwdriver On The Rocks but Tempers throws him off into the referee. Slim comes back with a Diamond Cutter and locks on the Roach Clip(inverted STF) and that brings out Tag Team Champions Se7en & Bryan Cassanova...they take out Slim J with the gorilla press/Diamond Cutter but the champs are attacked by the Hate Junkies!
Those four brawl back to the locker room as the match continues...Palmer throws in the axhandle but Commissioner Brodie Ray Chase takes it away from him and nails him with it! Slim J makes the cover and referee Dee Byers runs in to make the three-count! Brodie congratulates Slim J with the belt...but original referee Brent Wiley grabs the belt away. He has a discussion with the ring announcer...and it's announced that Tempers gets the win by DQ since Wiley saw Chase's interference. Aww...
