Friday SLA Results From Alton, IL

In the pre-show, Alexandre Rudolph won a three-way dance with Darren Dean and Aaron Solo.  Dean pinned Solo after a buzzsaw kick, but Rudolph got the final win over Dean after a released German suplex.  After the match, an unknown man seemed to hypnotize Rudolph into following him away from ringside...

Darin Corbin d. Bolt Brady after his trick knee acted him(resulting in him delivering a mule kick out of the referee's field of vision)...Corbin got the pin with a small package.

Jojo Bravado(Jojo Bravo & Jordan Jensen) got an upset win over The Hooligans(Devin & Mason Cutter) when Jensen pinned Devin after a camel clutch/619 combo.

Arik Cannon defeated Johnny Gargano after a brainbuster/Glimmering Warlock combo in a hard-hitting matchup.

Darin Childs d. Evan Gelistico in a fans-bring-the-weapons match after a Fall From Grace(Cradle Shock) onto thumbtacks...the weapons included a toy guitar, tiki torch, computer keyboard and flatscreen monitor, dartboard, and plastic Ghostbusters lunchbox.

Davey Vega d. Kyle O'Reilly with the Air Raid Crash to retain the ACW T.V. Title.  The two shook hands after the matchup.

A.C.H. d. Dingo in a best-of-three-falls match to retain the ACW Heavyweight Title.  Dingo won the first fall after the Dingo Driver v2.0.  A.C.H. evened the score with a crucifix pin.  A.C.H. delivered a Guile-style Flash Kick(Street Fighter 2~!) and went on to score the deciding fall with a modified cradle DDT.

Darin Corbin wanted to help Dan Walsh to follow the path of morality...this somehow led to the setup for a Heavyweight Title match at the next show in September and Corbin vowing to "beat off" Walsh and win the title.

Davey Richards d. T.J. Perkins after a buzzsaw-style basement dropkick in a hard-fought battle.  Handshakes all around after the matchup, including Davey Vega who apologized for thinking Davey had hit him from behind at the previous show.  Vega still wants a rematch with Richards...hopefully that'll happen in the near future.

Dan Walsh d. Gerald James(w/ Dorian Victor & Mrs. Victor) in a bloody TLC Match to retain the SLA Heavyweight Title.  Dorian interfered repeatedly to help his "son", even powerbombing Walsh through a table at one point.  Gerald took an incredible amount of punishment...it took Walsh three tries to break a table as he powerbombed James into it, German suplexed him into it, and finally just threw him straight through the table.  It took drastic measures to end the match as Walsh unscrewed the bottom rope and fish-hooked Gerald with the turnbuckle bolt until he finally tapped out!  Chaos erupted after the match as Evan Gelistico attacked Walsh, which brought out Darin Childs and also Darin Corbin to join the brawl...
