Mr. K started the show by announcing a few absences from the card: Tag Team Champion Chris Logan(death in the family) and The Dragons(travel problems).
Joey d. Bazooka after a chokeslam and Vader Bomb in the battle of big masked men.
Heavyweight Champion Eric Allen(without an opponent for the night) threw out an open challenge and got three responses. Justin Reno returned to MECW intent on getting his title rematch after being screwed out of the belt by Commissioner Bailey Mannix. Great Plains Champion Mauler McDarby retorted that Reno was handed opportunities as soon as he walked on the door...meanwhile, he(McDarby) had been with the company since day one and could count his Heavyweight Title shots on one hand. Shawn Santel one-upped McDarby's comment, noting he'd had ZERO Heavyweight Title shots. Mannix announced a triple threat match with the winner to challenge Allen later in the night.
Great Plains Champion Mauler McDarby vs. Shawn Santel vs. Justin Reno(non-title) ended in a triple countout as all three men brawled outside the ring. As a result, Mannix said that the Heavyweight Title match later in the night would be a four-corner matchup.
Count Kharfu d. Brandon Aarons by countout after a low blow outside the ring that the referee didn't see; Aarons retained the Independent Title. Kharfu continued his assault after the match, abusing Aarons at ringside and throwing him into the chairs in the audience before bashing him repeatedly with one of the chairs!
Eric Allen won the four-corner matchup with Great Plains Champion Mauler McDarby, Shawn Santel, and Justin Reno to retain the Heavyweight Title, pinning Santel after a hanging DDT. Bailey Mannix was the special guest referee for the matchup. After the match, McDarby and Santel snapped and destroyed everyone in sight: Allen, Mannix, Reno, and even Mr. K. Attorney Vern Harlow appeared at ringside and seemed to be applauding the actions of McDarby and Santel, who said they wanted no part of an organization run by Bailey Mannix and walked out the front door...
