NWA Anarchy TV #296

Your hosts are Tim E.D. & John Johnson.

NWA North American Champion Shaun Tempers hangs out with a fellow titleholder, Young Lions' Champion Bo Newsom. Tempers has his toughest challenge to date in the main event...

Seth Delay enlightens us...T.V. Champion Steven Walters couldn't make it tonight and he feels partially responsible. Seth had given some consideration to reinventing himself and moving past the "Hands Of Steel" motif...but he lost his cool and his hand felt a little "steel-heavy" after their previous encounter. He DOES apologize for his actions and wants to turn over a new leaf...we'll see if that lasts.

Skirra Corvus vs. Adrian Hawkins vs. Seth Delay, three-way dance: Interesting matchup here...I believe Delay and Hawkins were tag partners at one point AND we don't have a clear heel unless you count Seth. Delay and Hawkins double up on Corvus(in technical fashion) in the early stages of the matchup, though Corvus manages to turn the tables on them on a few occasions. Corvus leapfrogs a spear attempt by Hawkins who keeps going into a suicide dive on Delay, then Corvus follows him out with a huge plancha off the top rope. Everyone exchanges submission holds and Corvus manages to hook his modified Cattle Mutilation on both opponents at once! Corvus fights for a superplex on Delay but Seth fights him off, leaving him hung from the Tree Of Woe. Hawkins tries for the superplex, but Corvus pulls himself up to German-suplex Hawkins off the top rope as he executes the move! Corvus tries for a pin on Delay and gets two, then tries to cover Hawkins and gets two there. Seth rolls out as Corvus hits the Graveyard Shift on Hawkins, but Hawkins gets a foot on the bottom rope. Seth gets out the brass knuckles, but the referee actually catches him in the act before he can use them...despite that, Delay manages to leapfrog into a sunset flip to pin and eliminate Corvus. In the confusion, Hawkins gets a hold of the knucks and gives Seth a taste of his own medicine behind the referee's back...the three-count is academic after that and Hawkins notches the victory.

Armed & Dangerous(Lane Vasser & Johnny Dangerous) vs. The Texas Tornadoes(Jacob Kilgore & Galan Ramirez): Trainer Rudy Boy Gonzalez is not in attendance this week...aww. Johnson notes that Vasser has tryouts in both major league baseball and football in the coming months, so he's got quite the agenda ahead of him. Kilgore cuts off an Asai moonsault attempt by Dangerous and delivers a hanging inverted DDT, putting his side in control of the matchup. A double-team backfires as Ramirez accidentally BOOTs his partner, allowing the opening for the hot tag to Vasser! Vasser cleans house and tags Dangerous back in to finish(don't know how wise THAT was), boosting him into a standing 450 Splash on Kilgore! Vasser takes the time to pose...not noticing that Ramirez has broken up the pin attempt. Ramirez dropkicks Vasser out of the ring from behind and the Tornadoes hit Au Revoir(double-team Ego Trip neckbreaker) on Dangerous, allowing Kilgore to get the upset pin!

Victory promo from the new Tag Team Champions, For The Love Of Money(Andrew Pendleton III & Bryan Cassanova)...John Johnson interrupts to protest on behalf of the Ambassadors. He wants a title shot for his team...General Manager J.T. Talent(former partner of AP3) pays a visit and makes it so.

Shaun Tempers(w/ Bo Newsom) vs. Mikael Judas for the NWA North American Title: We establish the power difference in the early going...Tempers takes a few involuntary trips out of the ring as a result. Newsom tries to get involved and Judas disables him with a kick of the middle rope into a rather uncomfortable spot. Judas goes to finish with the chokeslam but Tempers bails out of the ring, hanging Judas up on the ropes in the process...Tempers takes that opening to attack the leg, keeping the bigger man down on the mat. Newsom gets in a few cheapshots outside the ring for good measure, leaving the challenger in major jeopardy.

Tempers uses the SPINNING TOEHOLD~! but Judas is able to kick him away. Judas goes for a desperation chokeslam but Tempers fights him off, then reverses the situation to get the cobra clutch! Judas backs him into the corner to break the hold but Tempers climbs the turnbuckles for extra leverage to re-apply the hold...and he manages to take Judas all the way down to the mat with it. Arm drops once, twice...not thrice! Judas struggles to reach the rope but seems to be fading...and he finally rolls to the side to get the rope break. Rude Awakening is blocked and Judas lariats him from behind...did Shaun take too much time in going for the kill? One-Man Mafia Kick in the corner sets up the clothesline off the top rope...for two. Judas teases the chokeslam but instead hits the Assisted Suicide(pumphandle sideslam)...for two! Tempers kicks out the leg and hits a low-altitude DDT...he goes to the second rope and nails the kneedrop...for 2 1/2! Tempers pummels Judas in the corner, but that leaves him wide open for an attempt at El Crucifjo attempt...only for Bo to jump in the ring and blind Judas with the Temptation For Men colonge, drawing a DQ. Bah!

The post-match attack ensues...paging the face locker room...Jacob Ashworth makes the save! He knocks Newsom out of the ring and maneuvers Tempers right into Chokeslam City courtesy of Judas to close the show...
