Sunday SLA Results From Fairview Heights, IL

-Darin Childs won a four-way dance with Shorty Biggs, Aiden Young, and Brandon McGregor to retain the ACW Heavyweight Title; it was scheduled to be a triple threat but Childs added himself to the match. Childs pinned the rookie McGregor with a rollup and handful of tights. McGregor stuck around long enough to trip up Young, allowing Childs to eliminate him with a Cradle Shock. Shorty went on offense against the champion and pummeled him in the corner but was powerbombed down to the mat and pinned to give Childs the victory.
-Dan Walsh & Bolt Brady d. The Submission Squad(SLA Heavyweight Champion Evan Gelistico & Pierre Abernathy) when Walsh made Abernathy tap out to a guillotine vice while Brady had Gelistico in a modified surfboard after delivering a backcracker. Walsh challenged Gelistico to defend his title at the December show in an I Quit Match...Evan wanted Walsh to put his MTV contract on the line.
-The Hooligans & Jordan Lacey d. Alexandre Rudolph, Khris Wolfe, & Ricky Romida when Devin Cutter rolled up Rudolph with an assist from Mason. Rudolph and Wolfe attacked the winners after the match, but Romida took exception to his partners' actions and sided with the Hooligans and Lacey to fight them off.
-ACW Joshi Champion Athena & Gunner Franks(w/ Dorian Victor & Mrs. Victor) d. The Kentucky Buffet(Matt Cage & Alex Castle); the match stemmed from Cage & Castle interviewing Alex Shelley only to be interrupted by Gerald James and his "family" along with Athena and Franks. Shelley sided with Cage & Castle in the ensuing brawl, leading into the tag match. Athena got the pin on Cage after knocking him out with a chain.
-A.C.H. d. Arik Cannon via La Majistral cradle in an outstanding matchup.
-Christian Rose fought Dingo to a time-limit draw; Rose had control of the matchup and nearly made Dingo tap out to a cross-armbreaker before Dingo was saved by the bell. Dingo teased offering Rose overtime only to drop him with a DDT...Dingo attempted to do more damage with a chair but Mat Fitchett ran him off, then challenged him to a dog collar match at the December show.
-Alex Shelley won a three-way dance with Gerald James(w/ Dorian Victor & Mrs. Victor) and Mat Fitchett(w/ Greg Jovi); Dingo distracted the referee when Fitchett appeared to have a pin on James, allowing Gerald to recover and pin Fitchett with the Michinoku Driver. Shelley re-entered the fray and defeated James with an Air Raid Crash to seal the victory, then said he hoped to face Fitchett one-on-one in the near future...
-Rachel Summerlyn d. Darin Corbin; Corbin offered a date instead of the match but she slapped him, leading Corbin to issue some rather harsh threats to his opponent in response. Corbin had control after a low punt but Summerlyn surprised him with a kiss, leaving him in la-la land long enough for her to take him out with a Mafia Kick and get the pin.
-Darin Childs d. Davey Vega in a bloody no-rope barbed-wire match to retain the ACW Heavyweight Title. The two brutalized each other with the wire as well as other weapons(Vega even poured alcohol on his opponent's wounds), but it was a barbed-wire-wrapped small package that led to the surprise three-count to end the match.
