NXT, XPlosion, Impact

WWE NXT5.com

Your hosts are Jack Korpela & S. William Regal, your emcee is Matt Striker.

Striker declares that only two rookies remain, so I guess Darren Young is unofficially eliminated. We're down to Titus O'Neil(w/ Percy Watson) and Derrick Bateman(w/ J.T.G. & Maxine Perez). Bateman cozies up to his girl and Titus settles for the cheap pop RIGHT HERE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS~! Okay, looks like an actual challenge, Talk The Talk...Titus notes that he's wearing pink tights for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Shockingly enough, the dueling promo segment goes in favor of the good guy. At any rate, Percy throws a few harsh words in J.T.G.'s direction and gets a fist to the face in response...Striker announces O'Neil vs. Bateman for later as well as our opening match...

Percy Watson vs. J.T.G.: Everyone else is sent to the back as Regal trashes the entire promo segment...heh. J.T.G. takes control, but wastes time on the second rope and leaps off into a jumping facebuster from Percy. OH YEAH~! Showtime Splash only gets a two-count...but he finishes the job with the fireman's-carry Flapjack that Korpela dubs the "Percy-cution".

Jey Uso(w/ Jimmy Uso) vs. Tyson Kidd(w/ Curt Hawkins): The Usos have another new theme song but they still have their war dance entrance. I wish the commentary on Kidd would match his in-ring success as they talk him up all the time but he rarely wins. Haven't seen much of the Usos in singles competition, though Jimmy started off solo in FCW before his brother joined him. Here's an old wrestling fan comment...I wish they'd be consistent about who is and isn't allowed at ringside. Remember manager's licenses? :) Let's shill Twitter! Anywho, good wrestling match ongoing...Jey delivers a nice superkick to the gut and then another to the face, but goes to the top rope instead of going for the pin. Hawkins distracts Jey briefly, but it's enough to give Kidd an opportunity to raise the knees and block the solo Headshrinker Splash. Jimmy goes after Hawkins who begs off("I'm hurt!")...meanwhile, Kidd finishes with the swinging fisherman buster. Kidd teases a post-match Sharpshooter but Jimmy puts a stop to that which brings in Hawkins. Yoshi Tatsu hits the ring and the heels decide to take their leave...

Kaitlyn Bonin & A.J. Lee chat backstage...but another chick has decided to score some of the TV time they're just giving away around here. Hi Tamina!

Kaitlyn Bonin vs. Tamina Snuka: Tamina gets the jobber entrance, sorry to say...she throws a nice superkick, though. Short match...Tamina attempts the Samoan Drop but Kaitlyn slides down the back into a sunset flip pin. Regal puts over Kaitlyn using her leg strength to her advantage in the pinning combination...PSYCHOLOGY~!

Titus O'Neil vs. Derrick Bateman(w/ Maxine Perez): A.J. Lee joins the commentary team...and Maxine decides to grab a headset as well. Korpela asks about the issues between the two and A.J. speculates that Maxine feeds off the souls of babies. The fight briefly spills out of the ring...Bateman dropkicks Titus as he attempts to re-enter and then follows up with the running dropkick off the apron. The argument between the ladies nearly overshadows the action in the ring as Regal tries desperately to get everyone focused on the match. O'Neil makes the mistake of going high-risk and misses a flying shoulderblock off the second rope, allowing Bateman to capitalize with an Oklahoma roll for the flash pin.

Post-match, Bateman celebrates with Maxine in the ring...and Bateman proposes to her. Maxine seems a bit unsure...okay, REALLY unsure as she slaps him...but then they make out. Um, okay. Titus covers A.J.'s eyes at ringside...Bateman claims she said yes and I guess we'll take his word for it.

TNA XPlosion

Your hosts are Jeremy Borash & Taz.

Jesse Sorensen vs. Robbie Eckos(w/ Rob Terry): Robbie E's entrance now involves Terry opening up a velvet rope "entrance" for him, a la MVP's VIP Room. Terry stands in front of Robbie in the corner with his arms crossed, causing Taz to joke that it's gimmick infringement. Sorensen clotheslines Eckos out of the ring, but Terry stops him from pursuing his advantage and Robbie gets in the cheapshot over his bodyguard's shoulder. Jesse attempts his inverted swinging neckbreaker but Terry trips him up to stop him. However, Sorensen is able to maneuver into his finisher closer to the middle of the ring and hits it to pick up the win. Terry enters the ring but Sorensen was just leaving...

TNA Impact

-Rob Van Dam d. Christopher Daniels by DQ when Daniels hit RVD with a toolbox from under the ring. Daniels got a screwdriver out of the toolbox but A.J. Styles(who was doing commentary) ran him off.
-Gail Kim(w/ Karen Angle-Jarrett, Traci Brooks, & Madison Rayne) d. Women's Tag Team Champion Tara Varon with the Eat-The-Feet.
-Eric Young d. Robbie Eckos(w/ Rob Terry) via crucifix pin to retain the T.V. Title.
-Jeff Hardy d. Bully Ray with the swanton bomb. Jeff Jarrett attacked Hardy after the match and the heels brought out a table, but Ken Anderson made the save.
-Bobby Roode d. Samoa Joe via Perfectplex to earn the first Heavyweight Title shot at James Storm.
