Doubleheader on Saturday...the first show was unique as it was essentially a house party with the comedy as one of the attractions. So, myself and five other local comics did a show in a living room with occasional heckling by parakeets. Donna has been a regular attendee of the local shows and asked us to perform...it was a lot of fun and even marked my fourth time being paid to do a comedy show in just over five years. Appreciate Donna and her friends for putting up with us and hogging the food and beverages. :)
Ben Flug has been putting on weekly comedy shows at the deli in Webster Groves for a while. This was my first opportunity to perform there...kind of an intimate setting for a comedy show. Myself and Kevin followed Faasen, A-Top, and Ken from Donna's show to the deli...me: "Sure, follow the stoners, no way we'll be late." :) A few people went over their time so the later sets were shortened...had been hoping to see how I'd do with more time, but maybe next week. Had a good time, at any rate.
