NWA Anarchy TV #284

Your hosts are Tim E.D. & John Johnson. After last week's falls-count-anywhere match(particularly the aftermath), Andrew Alexander will be on the shelf for a while...

Billy Buck vs. Bryan Cassanova: As a result of Alexander's injury, Buck is flying solo for the moment. Cassanova has a slight size advantage on the former Tag Team Champion...Buck rallies on offense, but misses the Buck Wild superkick and Cassanova hits a TKO for the upset victory!

John Johnson enlightens us(Young Lions' Champion Aden Chambers stands nearby). Johnson complains about Jacob Ashworth getting too many shots at the title, then moves on to Tag Team Champion Dustin Knight's recent ankle injury. The Ambassadors will get the belts in due time, sayeth Johnson.

Lane Vasser vs. Azrael(w/ Dan Wilson): Vasser looks impressive against the more experienced "Son Of Satan" but Azrael cuts off his rally with a short-range Shining Wizard. Vasser seems to be dazed from that knee...and Kimo runs in to brawl with Azrael(getting Lane DQed, but such is life). The referee brigade and General Manager J.T. Talent attempt to restore order with the expected amount of success...wrestlers join the effort and are finally able to keep them separated.

Brodie Ray Chase vs. Andrew Pendleton III for the T.V. Title: The Stray Cat controls the early minutes of the matchup, but a missed kneedrop allows AP3 to target the leg. FOOT DDT~! does more damage to the bad wheel...Brodie gets a desperation rollup for a two-count but Pendleton stays on the leg. However, Pendleton gets overconfident and runs into a Death Valley Driver out of nowhere, leaving both men down. Comeback ensues...powerbomb doesn't work as the knee gives out, allowing AP3 to fall on top for a close two-count. Russian legsweep...for two. Leg grapevine in the middle of the ring and Chase is in big trouble, but he barely reaches the ropes. Chase pulls off an STO backbreaker out of nowhere and quickly follows up with the double-underhook DDT to retain the belt by the skin of his teeth.

Steven Walters vs. Shaun Tempers: Walters' stock has risen in singles competition lately...not sure what happened to Derrick Driver as he's been MIA lately. Tempers is in the tournament finals for the NWA North American Title, scheduled to face his former partner (and NWA Southern Champion)Ace Rockwell. YAY WRESTLING~! to start...the commentators note that Walters has been primarily a tag team wrestler in his career, but perhaps Tempers is taking him lightly and looking ahead to the big tournament match. Tempers nicely counters a re-entry suplex by lifting Walters and dumping him on the top rope...ow. Tempers works on the neck to wear him down for the Rude Awakening...Walters gets a few bursts of offense but keeps getting cut off. Walters finally gains momentum and goes on offense, hitting a jumping enzuigiri for a close near-fall. Tempers leapfrogs Walters in the corner and delivers a German suplex...for 2 1/2. Tempers sets up a back suplex off the top but Walters elbows him away...Steamboat Press hits nothing but mat! Tempers goes to finish with the Rude Awakening but Walters counters with a backslide for the flash pin! Two big upsets in one show...

Next week: Aden Chambers vs. Jacob Ashworth for the Young Lions' Title.
