NWA Anarchy TV #285

Your hosts are Tim E.D. & John Johnson.

Tommy Daniels takes another shot at the prestigious Bo Newsom Small Package Challenge...no, he just wants to wrestle. Daniels refuses the challenge, even when Shaun Tempers ups the ante from $25 to a staggering $27.50.

Tommy Daniels vs. Bo Newsom(w/ Shaun Tempers): Daniels does well enough early, then Johnson informs us that T.V. Champion Brodie Ray Chase has made his way to ringside. Newsom hits Saving Grace but Chase causes a distraction and that allows Daniels to recover and get the upset win via rollup! Bo gets ticked and shoves referee(and former wrestler) Wes Grissom...who shoves back. Ha ha.

Dan Wilson(w/ Hate Junkies) enlightens us. He gripes about Kimo attacking Azrael last week, then talks up the Junkies getting a shot at the NWA World Tag Team Titles against the Dark City Fight Club. "Bring out the Jolly Green Giant and Sprout!"

Armed & Dangerous vs. The Hate Junkies(w/ Dan Wilson): Fine match, though the contenders for the NWA World Tag Titles aren't likely to lose here. Chaos breaks loose and A&D do well, but in an odd spot, Lane Vasser's knee gives out as he lifts Johnny Dangerous for a double-team move. Stryknyn ends up pinning Dangerous after the Hate Crime(assisted superbomb).

Aden Chambers vs. Jacob Ashworth for the Young Lions' Title: Notably Johnson stays at the broadcast table for this one. "I can manage from up here!" Johnson suspects chicanery since Wes Grissom is officiating this match and Ashworth is a former ref so they're probably buddies in his mind. Chambers works on the arm, but goes to the top rope and jumps off into a Flapjack. El Big Comeback ensues but Chambers cuts him off with a rope-handspring roundhouse kick and locks him in a bridging Fujiwara armbar! Ashworth barely makes the ropes to escape defeat. Ashworth goes for his Ashes To Ashes finisher and Johnson bails from the broadcast booth at that point, but Chambers counters into a victory roll...for two! Chambers chokes and punches away on Ashworth, then Johnson trips him at a crucial moment. The ref admonishes Johnson as Chambers picks up Ashworth in a fireman's-carry...Johnson turns to gloat to the fans, but Ashworth escapes the predicament and hits Ashes To Ashes(full nelson into a wheelbarrow faceplant)! The ref turns around just in time to count three and Jacob Ashworth is the newwwww Young Lions' Champion! Johnson only hears the three-count and thinks Chambers was the one getting the pin, then slooooowly turns around when he hears Ashworth's music and spazzes at the announcement of the title change. Bwahahaha.

Jeff G. Bailey enlightens us and calls out General Manager J.T. Talent. Bailey is upset over Se7en being suspended, but he has promised a surprise for tonight. He has to keep Heavyweight Champion Shadow Jackson busy tonight, so he's contacted an old member of the NWA Elite...he calls Shadow to the ring so they can "examine the situation". He's defending against Se7en in two weeks, but tonight could be even worse for him...LIGHTS OFF LIGHTS ON...

Heavyweight Champion Shadow Jackson vs. Mikael Judas(w/ Jeff G. Bailey): Shadow goes on offense but IT'S THE BIG FOOT and it's downhill from there. Shocking to see Judas back in the NWA Elite fold after their turbulent past. TNA viewers may know him as "Murphy" or "that guy who used to hang out with Gunner". Judas pummels Jackson, but Shadow starts shrugging off the shots and firing back. Shadow climbs the turnbuckles to punch away at Judas in the corner, but Judas pushes him backwards...and he appears to tweak his ankle. Johnson is on the ball and remembers Shadow tearing his Achilles tendon several years ago...is this the old injury reoccurring? Judas pounces on the injury...and when the referee backs him off, Bailey takes a cheapshot with an axhandle(ex-promoter Jerry Palmer's weapon of choice)! Judas grabs an anklelock and Jackson is close to tapping out, but he reaches the ropes. Judas won't release the hold and that's a DQ...but the title's not on the line and Se7en's got the next title shot, so I doubt Bailey and company truly care about actually winning the match. The fans chant for Kimo as Judas STILL won't release the hold...Bailey even kicks the referee out of the ring. Kimo finally hits the ring with the face locker room in tow...Kimo and Judas square off, but Judas backs off with Bailey and the damage has been done.

Next week: Youth Gone Wild vs. The Ambassadors for the Tag Team Titles.
