WWE NXT5.com

Talk The Talk Challenge: Darren Young is the first to gripe about Derrick Bateman's late addition to the season...Titus O'Neil is fine with the extra competition and gets the crowd involved in the dog bark. Bateman tries to turn the crowd against O'Neil with some sports references...fans don't seem to be buying into him as much as in NXT4. We go to the fans for the decision and not-so-surprisingly that goes to Titus.

Your hosts are Todd Grisham & S. William Regal(who wasn't too impressed with anyone in that last segment).

Yoshi Tatsu vs. Tyson Kidd: Odd concept here...they've been having good matches with each other so we're gonna keep the feud going. Yoshi gets the better of several striking exchanges, but a fight on the apron leads to Kidd dropkicking Yoshi backwards into the ringpost. THEY'RE FIGHTING OVER ACTION FIGURES, BTW. The topic turns to C.M. Punk and Grisham says that Bret Hart once thought about leaving the company with the championship(not QUITE the whole truth but oh well). Kidd survives the spinning heel kick off the top rope...Regal notes that Kidd got his hand up to partially block the kick. Big roundhouse kick is countered by a well-timed dropkick to the knee, finally neutralizing the educated feet. Spinkick to the gut sets up the swinging fisherman buster and Kidd finally picks up a win.

We're reintroduced to Derrick Bateman...since we last saw him, he competed in a soapbox derby and got a new cat.

Hornswoggle tries to give Maryse Ouellet a bouquet of "flowers"...that doesn't go so well.

Daniel Bryan & Derrick Bateman vs. Titus O'Neil & Darren Young: Mixed reaction from the fans...Grisham says that Bateman suffered a knee injury and WAS scheduled to be a part of NXT5.com before being sidelined. Regal notes the presence of his former protege Daniel Bryan in the match...then wonders if that makes Bateman his "step-protege". Regal is NOT amused by Bateman's sense of humor, saying he's about as funny as a "burning orphanage". Bateman takes advantage of miscommnication to get out of the wrong corner, tagging in Daniel Bryan. Bryan and Young renew old Nexus-era hostilities, then Derrick re-enters the fray as Bryan dropkicks O'Neil off the apron. Young nearly catches Bateman off-guard with the Strongbuster, but Bateman escapes the move to hit the MANTASTIC DDT~! and gets the three-count!
