FCW TV 9/4

Your hosts are Matt Martlaro & Byron Saxton.

Abraham Washington & Mike Dalton vs. Tito Colon & Kenneth Cameron(w/ Raquel Diaz): It's been a while since we've seen Abe or Mike Dalton...plus it's our first look at Tito as a heel. Abe quickly falls prey to some double-team tactics by the Ascension duo and gets isolated from his corner. Tito distracts the ref at a key moment(as Abe is powering his way to the corner to tag in Dalton), allowing for more double-teaming...but the teamwork finally backfires as the heels collide and Dalton gets the hot tag for real! Dalton looks impressive in his offensive flurry, but Cameron breaks up a pin attempt and the ref gets tied up with Washington. That allows Cameron to sneak in a Codebreaker behind the referee's back, giving Colon the opening to finish with the backcracker.

Roman Leakee vs. Damien Sandow: Two top contenders are battling in this one...Sandow came very close to capturing the Heavyweight Title from Bo Rotundo in recent weeks. Leakee looks strong in the opening minutes but a blind charge hits turnbuckles and Sandow rams Leakee into the turnbuckles repeatedly out of a full-nelson position. Sandow uses the ropes during an abdominal stretch but the ref catches him quickly...then Leakee fires off the Flying Jalapeno out of nowhere! Sandow rolls to the ropes to escape defeat and Leakee pursues him...Sandow's attempted shoulder to the gut is met with a huge kneelift! Leakee goes on the offensive...but Sandow elbows out of a Samoan Drop and gets an O'Connor Roll. However, Leakee rolls through the move into his own pinning combination to notch the upset win! Sandow isn't happy about the outcome for obvious reasons and levels Leakee after the match, then drops him with a snap neckbreaker on the floor!

Briley Pierce still works here and he interviews Heavyweight Champion Bo Rotundo(w/ Women's Champion Aksana Raudoniene). Husky Harris interrupts, feeling like Bo has changed and it's Aksana's fault. Bo gets offended and actually slaps his brother, then leaves with Aksana. What was that all about?

President Steve Keirn meets with General Manager Maxine Perez, Norman Smiley, and Leo Kruger in his office. He makes it official that Maxine is the sole G.M. now, then talks to Kruger about his attack on Norman a few weeks ago. Maxine names Smiley the guest referee for the upcoming Heavyweight Title match between Rotundo and Kruger, then calls up S. William Regal...

Richie Steamboat vs. Brad Maddox: ...or not.

Richie Steamboat vs. Colin Cassidy & Rodney Thomas(w/ Brad Maddox): Didn't take long for Maxine to start abusing her power again. Byron: "Why are you so jaded?" Maybe because heels get near-zero comeuppance 90% of the time, because we keep getting handicap matches and biased referees to compensate for lazy booking, etc. Sorry, he was talking to Martlaro. Anywho, Maddox distracts Steamboat but Richie still low-bridges Thomas out of the ring. It turns into a total two-on-one attack and the referee finally calls for a DQ, then Maddox gets involved as well. Cassidy and Thomas hold Steamboat up, then Maddox removes his shoe and nails Steamboat in the face with it.

Husky Harris vs. Conor O'Brian(w/ Ricardo Rodriguez & Raquel Diaz): The Ascension made an impact last week as O'Brian was instrumental in Bo Rotundo's loss to Leo Kruger, so brother Husky is out for payback. Conor teases an early IT'S THE BIG FOOT but Husky holds the ropes, then Husky attempts his uranagi finisher only for Conor to elbow out of it and seek refuge on the floor. The commentators wonder why O'Brian interfered last week, evidently having missed Bo PUNCHING O'BRIAN IN THE FACE earlier in the matchup. Husky teases his Wave Of The Future move and can't quite hit it but still clotheslines Conor out of the ring. O'Brian lands on his feet, immediately getting counsel from Ricardo...good time for a commercial break!

Conor has control after the break but Harris retaliates with the HUNDRED HAND SLAP~! and a short-arm clothesline...however, the senton misses its mark and O'Brian throws Husky out of the ring. Conor brings him back in and maintains control, keeping him on the mat with a bodyscissors. Byron wonders if Bo would be out at ringside to support his brother if Husky has just minded his own business(in Byron's view). Husky rallies and hits the uranagi, but he's slow to cover and only gets 2 1/2. Conor snaps off a Saito Suplex out of nowhere...for 2 1/2. IT"S THE BIG FOOT misses and Raquel jumps up on the apron...Conor reverses a whip and Husky stops himself to running into Raquel, but the momentary distraction is enough for O'Brian to level Harris with the big boot and score the victory.

Next week: Bo Rotundo vs. Leo Kruger for the Heavyweight Title with Norman Smiley as referee, plus a contract signing for the next FCW 15 Title match between champion Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. So long from the Sunshine State!
