NWA Anarchy TV #295

Your hosts are Tim E.D. & John Johnson.

C.B. Gibson & Tommy Daniels vs. The Ambassadors: Plans seem to have been altered as Dan Wilson makes his entrance with the new Heavyweight Champion Azrael. Wilson says that Johnson has stepped aside on behalf of his team so that Azrael can demonstrate his brutality...

Heavyweight Champion Azrael(w/ Dan Wilson) vs. C.B. Gibson & Tommy Daniels, non-title handicap match: Johnson claims the Ambassadors are tired of beating up Gibson & Daniels...suuuuure. Gibson & Daniels double up on the champion for a little while, but the conclusion seems to be inevitable. Daniels takes some abuse but lucks his way into a back suplex to tag in Gibson...who promptly misses a slingshot swanton. Good one. Azrael takes out Daniels on the arena floor, then wipes out Gibson with the Ted Bundy. He plants Daniels with the Green Manalishi(w/ Two-Pronged Crown) for good measure, then stacks them up to deliver the frog splash/elbowdrop onto both at once! That's enough for Azrael to cover both men and get the three-count. Wilson says Kimo(Azrael's originally-scheduled opponent) is not here and wonders if Kimo is just scared of facing Azrael again(never mind that whole hurricane deal on the east coast)...

The Urban Assault Squad vs. Bobby Moore & John Skyler: Been quite some time since Shadow Jackson & Nemesis have joined forces...Johnson does a quick career recap. The two first teamed in NWA Wildside, then won three Tag Team Titles in Anarchy before Nemesis turned on Shadow in 2007. That led to a long off-and-on feud, but Nemesis saved Shadow from a beating at the hands of Azrael & Dany Only at Hostile Environment. A cheapshot from Skyler allows Moore to get in some offense on Nemesis...but Nemesis raises the knees to block Skyler's Lionsault. Hot tag is made and Shadowmania runs wild! Stunner hits on Moore and Nemesis clotheslines Skyler out of the ring...Shadow drops Moore with the 1031 Spinebuster, then Nemesis adds a running senton and Jackson gets the three-count. The UAS make a successful return...but the Hate Junkies attack after the match! Only makes a point to clip Shadow's previously-injured ankle as Dan Wilson gives the marching orders...the Junkies destroy Jackson's leg with The Reverend's walking stick and they threaten to Pillmanize the leg but Nemesis gets his own chair to run them off.

Jacob Ashworth vs. Bo Newsom(w/ Shaun Tempers) for the Young Lions' Title: Tim E.D. turns Johnson's constant references to Jacob "Butterworth" on him, saying he seems to be obsessed with food. (It's funny cuz he's fat!) I don't THINK anyone has repeated as Young Lions' Champion, but Bo has held that title in the past. Ashworth had a strong showing against NWA North American Champion Tempers at Hostile Environment, but it was Newsom's involvement that led to his defeat. Jacob seems to have control, but Bo springboards off the middle rope backwards into a flying tornado DDT! That understandably puts Newsom in command of the action...but he makes the mistake of setting up a top-rope Diamond Cutter and Ashworth fights out to hit a top-rope bulldog! Both men are down but Ashworth crawls over to cover...for two. Ashworth avoids a leapfrog out of the corner and hits Ashes To Ashes...but only gets 2 1/2! The referee is checking on Newsom, so Tempers bashes Ashworth in the leg with his title belt! Bo zeroes in on the injury but Ashworth kicks him away, then gets a small package...for two. Bo doesn't take kindly to his move being stolen...Ashworth's leg is in bad shape but he fires back on the challenger only to take another shot to the leg. Ashworth counters a slam attempt into a possible Curtain Call, but Newsom counters THAT with his famed(heh) small package and wins the Young Lions' Title for the second time!

Youth Gone Wild vs. For The Love Of Money for the Tag Team Titles: FTLOM won a four-way dance at Hostile Environment for this title shot, much to the chagrin of John Johnson(whose Ambassors were one of the final two teams in said matchup). The champs look sharp in the early going...Bryan Cassanova overpowers both opponents until they double up on him with some success. Cassanova and Andrew Pendleton III manage to isolate Anthony Henry for several minutes...but Henry flukes his way into an O'Connor Roll on Pendleton, then uses the momentum of AP3's kickout to tag in Dustin Knight!

The house is on fire...Knight sends AP3 out with a flying headscissors then low-bridges Cassanova out before holding the ropes for Henry's suicide dive! Knight follows up with a modified Asai moonsault onto both challengers...he throws Pendleton back into the ring and gets a two-count. AP3 yanks Knight to the mat by the hair and tags in Cassanova...now it's Knight in the wrong part of town. Johnson notes we've already seen one title change and that may be weighing on the minds of the tag champs right about now. Knight avoids a blind charge into the corner and nails a jumping neckbreaker on Pendleton...he finally tags in Henry who enters with a missile dropkick onto both opponents! The house is afire again...Henry maneuvers into a turnbuckle-walk DDT on AP3, then Knight adds a dropkick assist to Henry's brainbuster! Henry covers...for 2 1/2! Henry looks to finish, but Pendleton reverses Henry into a tripup by Cassanova. Pendleton tags in Cassanova but he falls victim to YGW's stereo enzuigiris...they try to set up the double-team Go 2 Sleep but Pendleton breaks up Henry's end of it. Knight(who had been tagged into the match) goes to the top rope, hitting a missile dropkick on Cassanova...he goes up again, but his cross-body attempt is caught and Cassanova boosts him into the TKO! AP3 has Henry occupied, Cassanova covers, ref counts, and we have newwwww Tag Team Champions!

Next week: Shaun Tempers vs. Mikael Judas for the NWA North American Title.
