FCW TV

The show starts with a video package for Heavyweight Champion Bo Rotundo...

Your hosts are Matt Martlaro & S. William Regal...we start the show with General Manager Maxine Perez. She's accompanied by Norman Smiley who is holding the Heavyweight Title belt. Maxine announces that Bo Rotundo has suffered an injury and will be out of action for several months...so the title is vacant and a "Super 8 Tournament" has been set up to determine the next champion. The participants: FCW 15 Champion Seth Rollins, Leo Kruger, Big E Langston, Roman Leakee, Percy Watson, Damien Sandow, Dean Ambrose, and Husky Harris. It's actually a lazy tournament as there will be four matches to determine who will enter a four-corner match for the championship...

Roman Leakee vs. Damien Sandow, Heavyweight Title Tournament: Sandow goes on the attack early...Leakee upset him not too long ago so he's not taking any chances. Sandow tries for a neckbreaker out of nowhere but gets countered into a backslide for a close near-fall...Leakee seems to be pacing himself differently than usual here. Sandow hangs onto the apron for dear life, then rakes the eyes as the referee is trying to fix the setup. Sandow has been a tag champ and has fought for the Heavyweight Title, but Leakee hasn't been in the major championship picture until this point. Sandow focuses his attack on the midsection, cutting off Leakee's attempts at offense with well-timed knees to the gut...he even goes old-school with the rope-assisted abdominal stretch. Leakee hiptosses his way out of the predicament and the match degenerates into fisticuffs...Leakee gets the upper hand on that exchange. Kneelift misses, Flying Jalapeno doesn't...then he follows up with a big fistdrop but Sandow rolls to the apron to regroup. Leakee goes to the well once too often and misses a Stinger Splash, leading to Sandow finishing with a snap neckbreaker(the M-14, sayeth Martlaro).

Briley Pierce still works here and he interviews Abraham Washington...he fully plans to challenge the winner of the title tournament.

Queen Aksana Raudoniene vs. Audrey Marie for the Women's Title: Caylee Turner joins the broadcast team for this matchup...we recap the postmatch incident from a few weeks ago where Aksana attacked Audrey after their previous matchup. Audrey's attempt at a re-entry sunset flip goes badly as Aksana shoves her right off the apron...the champ controls from there. Aksana goes for the Devo Drop(spinebuster) but Audrey counters into a small package out of nowhere for the flash pin to win the title!

Vignette for Ascension...pretty cool.

Briley Pierce still works here and tries to get a post-match interview with a distraught Aksana. She is still the queen, I guess...but Husky Harris thinks she "got what she deserved". Aksana tries to cry her way out of the situation and appears to succeed as Husky calms her down with a hug...but she looks DEVIOUS~! as she accepts the gesture.

Corey Graves vs. Erick Rowan: Graves was previously known as Sterling James Keenan on the independent circuit...we've seen Rowan in tag team competition with James Bronson but now he's venturing into singles competition. Graves tries to stick-and-move in the early going, but goes for one aerial move too many and gets yanked into the guardrail. Corey gets off a dropkick to the knee, but jumps off the top rope right into the limits of Chokeslam City...that'll do it. Martlaro dubs the move "Greetings From The North"...okay then.

Husky Harris vs. Big E Langston, Heavyweight Title Tournament: Husky is fighting not just for the title but for his brother's honor...step one is here. It's safe to say this won't be a lucha-style matchup. We're told the specific injury to Bo was a lacerated kidney and he'll be out of action for two to three months...ouch. Big E gets the better of the early brawling exchange but Husky floors him with a huge clothesline in response. Langston turns things around and delivers a belly-to-belly suplex with shocking ease. Martlaro runs off some weightlifting stats for Big E, including a deadlift of almost 800 pounds that set an American record! Langston targets the back for most of the matchup but can't keep Harris down for long. Big E tries to beat him down but Husky delivers a flying cross chop out of nowhere! El Big Comeback is underway...HUNDRED HAND SLAP~! and a pair of avalanches connect, then Husky finishes with his own version of the spear to advance in the tournament!

Next week: The Heavyweight Title tournament continues...so long from the Sunshine State!
