WWE NXT5.com

Your hosts are Jack Korpela & S. William Regal, your emcee is Matt Striker...we waste no time in getting to the heart of recent matters. J.T.G. and Darren Young come out to confront Striker and Regal, setting up tonight's main event. Regal came prepared this week, wearing his wrestling attire from the get-go.

Titus O'Neil & Percy Watson vs. Tyson Kidd & Derrick Bateman: Percy made his return to WWE on Superstars last week in a tag team with O'Neil. The faces control the opening minutes, but a tripup by Bateman allows Kidd to kick Percy from behind and send him to the floor. Bateman follows up with a nice running dropkick off the apron, keeping Watson in the wrong part of town. Korpela notices that Hornswoggle is absent tonight...that makes one of us. Kidd tries to go aerial from the second rope, but Percy surprises him with his own dropkick...tags on both sides! Chaos breaks loose and Kidd baseball-slides Watson, but Bateman makes the mistake of trying to slug it out with O'Neil and runs right into the Clash Of The Titus! That's the ballgame and O'Neil gets the three-count.

A.J. Lee vs. Maxine Perez: Maxine attempted to trick A.J. with a Photoshopped picture of Hornswoggle cozying up to the Bella Twins...heh. Not a big fan of Maxine but I do like the new ring attire. At least she's transitioned from chinlocks to camel clutches...and Maxine trash-talks A.J. while she's down: "Where's your boyfriend?" Maxine cuts off a rally with a fireman's-carry Stungun and finishes with a version of the Voodoo Drop out of the double-underhook setup. Titus O'Neil comes out just in the nick of too late...Maxine was just leaving.

S. William Regal & Matt Striker vs. J.T.G. & Darren Young: J.T.G. no longer has a protege and Young no longer has a mentor, so I guess they fit well together. So is Korpela calling this solo or...BLOODY HELL, it's Michael Cole. Guess who gets more heat than anyone else: The announcer. Thus are the priorities of WWE. Cole wastes no time in burying anything and everything even remotely associated with the onscreen product, just like every other time he's on the mic. Cheapshot by J.T.G. leads to a back suplex by Young to put Striker in trouble. Cole stops his rant just long enough to browbeat Korpela for not calling the match(after not letting Jack get a word in edgewise). The heels keep control and Cole WILL NOT SHUT UP, ripping apart Korpela with no end in sight. Jack's a trooper and tries to steer the conversation back to THE FREAKIN' MATCH...at least that gets Cole ranting about the match.

Striker jawbreakers his way out of a chinlock by Young and tags are made on both ends as Cole rants about hockey. Regal's a house afire...of course, Cole's busy making fun of Korpela's attempt at a joke. Regal tags Striker back in to finish and I hate to agree with Cole but that doesn't seem like a good idea...Regal takes J.T.G. out of the game but Young holds the ropes to block a backcracker attempt. Young does some fancy maneuvering to get Striker in position for the Strongbuster and nails it to get the win. The heels celebrate, but Jimmy & Jey Uso heard that they're just GIVING away camera time on this show so they hit the ring and clean house. Why not?
