Highlight reel of match number two...a twenty-minute matchup this time, but this one also ended in a 0-0 draw.
Briley Pierce may or may not still work here but he interviews President Steve Keirn. Keirn echoes Dusty's sentiment that Jack Brisco would be proud and says it'll be a great match...let the best man win.
Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose for the FCW 15 Title, thirty-minute time limit: Martlaro notes that Rollins has held the medallion for the better part of this calendar year. We see General Manager Maxine Perez watching the match from the "VIP Section" as well as Heavyweight Champion Bo Rotundo and Women's Champion Queen Aksana Raudoniene. Let's get this started...El Big Staredown and lockup to start, then YAY WRESTLING~! Ambrose teases an early Midnight Special, then Seth escapes and teases Avada Kedavbra but Dean slides out of the ring...
Seth takes control and works an armbar...we hit the five-minute mark with no falls and Martlaro notes that we haven't seen any punches or strikes yet. Byron notes that they're conserving energy and pacing themselves since they know they're going long...PSYCHOLOGY~! Rollins stays on the arm but Ambrose backs him into the corner and starts the brawling tactics. Rollins fires back, leaving Ambrose hung up in the ropes as Seth bounces him back and forth with chops before dropkicking him out of the ropes. The fight spills out of the ring but a double countout wouldn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things...Dean begs off a bit but Seth is relentless. Seth misses a dropkick but backflips to land on his feet...and Ambrose punts him below the belt! That's a DQ at around the eight-minute mark and Seth is up 1-0...
After a brief rest period, Dean quickly grabs Rollins in the Midnight Special and gets the three-count to even the score at the nine-minute mark!
Byron declares Ambrose to be a genius as the low blow allowed him to capitalize and score a fall...then he levels Seth with a lariat for ANOTHER fall at the nine-and-a-half minute mark! That makes it 2-1 in favor of the challenger...
We hit the ten-minute mark and Dean wipes out Seth with another lariat, but Rollins is able to roll out of the ring to avoid another pinfall defeat...still, he's in bad shape and he barely beats the ten-count back into the ring. Ambrose covers...for two-and-a-half. Ambrose takes his time, slowing the pace to keep Rollins down on the mat, focusing on the neck. Fifteen minutes down, fifteen to go. Dean gets a few near-falls, then goes for another Midnight Special only for Seth to counter into a sunset flip pin to even the score at around the sixteen-minute mark!
That fall is enough to fire up the champion and he rallies with a flurry of offense...Flatliner into the turnbuckles! Advanced Curbstomp...misses, but Seth sidesteps a charging Ambrose and Dean sails through the ropes to the floor. Rollins nails a somersault plancha but appears to hit the guardrail on the landing so both men are in bad shape. We re-enter the squared circle and Dean avoids a springboard clothesline but not a jumping enzuigiri from the apron...springboard clothesline hits on the second try...for two! Dean ducks out of the ring again to avoid Avada Kedavra and the two fight on the apron before getting back into the ring...and an Ambrose suplex sends BOTH men over the top rope to the floor! Twenty minutes down, ten to go!
The two somehow get back in the ring and slug it out from their knees...then slug it out on their feet. Ambrose stuns Rollins with a big shot but Seth gets off a jumping enzuigiri...rolls over to cover...for 2 1/2. Lionsault...for 2 1/2! Seth fires off a series of kicks to the face, spinkick to the gut, Advanced Curbstomp...for 2 1/2! Twenty-five minutes down, five to go! Phoenix Splash...misses! That may be a crucial mistake by the champion...but Dean can't cover right away...finally does...for 2 1/2! Three minutes to go and Dean goes for a Texas Cloverleaf, but Ambrose fights him off until Dean stomps him in the gut repeatedly. Dean finally gets the Cloverleaf in the middle of the ring with two minutes to go...Seth pushes himself up from the mat and barely reaches the ropes! One minute left...Dean tries Avada Kedavra but Seth blocks it and hits Dean with his own Midnight Special! Cover...for 2 1/2! Avada Kedavra HITS...for 2 1/2! The time limit expires and we've got a 2-2 draw!
However, Maxine orders sudden death so we can have a decisive winner! Seth small-packages Dean...for 2 1/2! They slug it out in the middle of the ring with Ambrose getting the better of that exchange...Panic Attack gets 2 1/2! Dean pulls Seth from the apron and Seth hits a jumping enzuigiri...suicide dive hits! Seth throws him back in the ring for a running forearm in the corner! Another one! Goes for a third but Dean follows him into the opposite corner with his own forearm! Dean hits the ropes but eats a superkick, only to come off the ropes and blast him with the lariat! Midnight Special...FOR 2 1/2! Dean climbs the turnbuckles and tries to pull Seth up, only to eat a jumping enzuigiri...they fight on the turnbuckles and Dean attempts a Midnight Special off the top, but Seth sunset-flips over and delivers the turnbuckle powerbomb! Avada Kedavra...but Dean won't stay down! ANOTHER Avada Kedavra! GOD'S LAST GIFT~! and that finally keeps Ambrose down for three! Seth Rollins retains the FCW 15 Championship!
So long from the Sunshine State! YAY WRESTLING~!
