Wrestling TV

WWE NXT5.com

-Your hosts are Jack Korpela and S. William Regal. Fare thee well, Todd Grisham.
-Titus O'Neil & A.J. Lee(w/ Hornswoggle) d. Derrick Bateman & Maxine Perez when O'Neil pinned Bateman after the Clash Of The Titus.
-Matt Striker joins Korpela at the broadcast position since Regal has a match...
-Yoshi Tatsu(sporting a new look) d. Tyson Kidd with the spinning heel kick off the top rope.
-S. William Regal d. Darren Young; Striker left the broadcast booth to prevent J.T.G. from interfering, allowing Regal to finish with the knee trembler.

TNA XPlosion

X-Division Champion Brian Kendrick vs. Mark Haskins, non-title: Two weird dudes locking up here, as your hosts Jeremy Borash and Taz note. Haskins keeps ducking out of the ring and Kendrick tries to fake him out on a plancha attempt, but Haskins yanks him off the apron and roughs him up on the floor. Kendrick fires back and attempts a superplex only to get dumped on the top rope in a most painful manner. Sweet suicide dive by Haskins, though it doesn't seem to do him any favors either. The commentators wonder if Haskins would be satisfied with a countout win...theoretically, a win over a titleholder means something however you can get it. That line of thinking turns out to be for naught as Kendrick rallies with some aerial offense before finishing with Sliced Bread #2 to end a fun little match.

WWE Superstars.com

Your hosts are Josh Mathews, Scott Stanford, Jack Korpela, & Matt Striker.

Mason Ryan vs. J.T.G.: Okay, I guess he's a face now? J.T.G. puts a twist on the traditional shoulder-to-the-gut-through-the-ropes spot by using it to clip Ryan's knee...however, the advantage is short-lived. Ryan wins in fairly short order with ye olde Meltdown.

Titus O'Neil & Percy Watson vs. Tyler Reks & Curt Hawkins: Wow, haven't seen much of these guys in quite some time. Percy hasn't been on WWE programming since NXT2 and the heel duo vanished into thin air around the time of the draft. As for O'Neil, this is his first foray into non-NXT programming...Josh has it right, good to see some fresh talent on TV(or WWE.com as the case may be). Hawkins is a former WWE Tag Team Champion(with Zack Ryder) and both men held the FCW Tag Team Titles(Hawkins with Caylen Croft, Reks with Johnny Curtis). Percy looks good early before taking a beating from the heel team...O'Neil gets the hot tag and cleans house with his power advantage. Hawkins breaks up a Clash Of The Titus on Reks and chaos breaks loose...the ref gets occupied with Percy, allowing Reks and Hawkins to deliver a pretty cool double-team finish on O'Neil(snap powerslam by Reks with a neckbreaker-ish drop by Hawkins)! That's enough for Reks to get the three-count on O'Neil...will this be the beginning of a regular tag team or two?

Alicia Fox vs. Tamina Snuka: Yeah, Striker, I'm sure I'll learn a WHOLE lot from C.M. Punk vs. Triple H. Alicia avoids the Superfly Splash and finishes with the axe kick.

Brodus Clay vs. Allen Turner: Splat. Fall Of Humanity and out.

Daniel Bryan vs. Heath Slater: Striker says the rivalry between these two goes back to Money-In-The-Bank...um, anyone heard of a group called the Nexus? YAY WRESTLING~! Bryan teased the LeBell Lock at one point but he's been finishing a LOT more with the guillotine chokeout...in this case, he countered a Flapjack into a mid-air DDT and held onto the head to lock on the hold for the tapout. Most tremendous.

TNA Impact

-"The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero & Brother Devon d. The British Invasion to earn a Tag Team Title shot at Mexican America at No Surrender; Devon pinned Douglas Williams after the spinebuster.

-Ken Anderson d. Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle by DQ when Immortal ran in after Anderson hit his second Mic Check of the match; Sting was the special guest enforcer but was beaten down as well.
-Winter Lea & Angelina Love d. Women's Champion Mickie James & Velvet Sky when Winter pinned Mickie after blinding her with the red mist. Winter challenges Mickie for the title at No Surrender.

-Oh, the PPV main event is Angle-Sting-Anderson for the title.
