Commentator Larry Matysik attributed it to problems stemming from Sean Vincent's figure-four leglock a few months earlier.
-Flashback to 1983, All Japan Pro Wrestling(!): King Kong/Bruiser Brody d. Dory Funk Jr. Funk attempted a back suplex, but Brody punched his way out of it in mid-air and kicked off the turnbuckles to get the better of the landing, scoring the pin after that.
