Since I was off work Monday, I decided to check out the Sunday open-mic at Nick's Pub for the first time. I had heard good things about the shows...definitely a lively audience, though they were occasionally chatty. Comics got about seven minutes(the time depending on the number of comics)...tried a handful of new lines but mostly stuck to what worked(being in a new venue and all). Good time was had by all and I hope to go to that show more often in the future...a lot depends on my work schedule though.
