Regarding Vaughn's heel turn...there's actually a lot of motivation if you look at the history books. Vaughn lost the Heavyweight Title to Future due to interference, but he didn't get an immediate rematch and Gary got the first shot, winning the title. Vaughn pinned Gary clean to win the T.V. Title but never got a shot at the big belt to the best of my recollection. He was screwed out of the T.V. Title as well...then nearly beat Gary in the Lemay tournament only to fall victim to a last-gasp pin reversal. There's been plenty of reason for Vaughn to get frustrated...so there you have it.
