WWE NXT5.com
Your hosts are Josh Mathews & S. William Regal.
Titus O'Neil opens the show...but tag partner Percy Watson takes exception to his new attitude. O'Neil encourages him to turn to the Dark Side, but Percy says he's sounding like Darren Young right about now. Titus says that Percy is either with him or against him...Percy says he's against him, so Titus shoves him down. Emcee Matt Striker orders the match for later tonight.
Backstage, Striker is harassed by Tyler Reks & Curt Hawkins...but they're in action next.
Jimmy & Jey Uso vs. Tyler Reks & Curt Hawkins: SIVA TAU~! Hawkins nearly takes out Jey with an innovative faceplant but only gets a two-count. Reks throws in the walking stick, but Curt never gets a chance to use it as Jey superkicks him into dreamland. 1-2-3.
Derrick Bateman hangs out with Kaitlyn Bonin backstage...Kaitlyn lets him know that Johnny Curtis is lurking around somewhere...
Trent Barreta vs. Heath Slater: One of these guys might just win a match! Trent whiffs on an early plancha and Heath introduces him to the barricade and ring apron. Barreta tries to fire back but Heath cuts him off with a Booker T-esque jumping side kick...nicely done. Trent finally gets an opening when Slater eats turnbuckle on a missed Stinger Splash...jumping enzuigiri! Gobstopper Knee...gets two. Heath tries for a re-entry sunset flip but Trent blocks and catches him in a Northern Lights suplex...for two. Third floor...but Heath pops up to deliver a huge powerslam! Cover...for two! Trent small-packages him out of nowhere...for two. Trent maneuvers into a Dudebuster DDT attempt but Heath dumps him throat-first onto the middle rope. Slater follows up with a flying clothesline/neckbreaker variant and finally ends his long winless streak!
Striker interviews Johnny Curtis...but Bateman and Maxine Perez are quick to make their entrance. Curtis won't stop with the creepy comments so Maxine finally knees him in the lower regions...do we have an understanding? Bateman: "Absolutely!"
Alex Riley earns his money via quick backstage conversation with Percy...the main event is NEXT~!
Percy Watson vs. Titus O'Neil: This is more of a fight than a wrestling match, as you might expect. Solid contest, at any rate...Percy goes aerial to gain an advantage, hitting the OH YEAH~! Showtime Splash...for two. Percy-cution...no, Titus fights out of it and he hits the Clash Of The Titus out of nowhere! That's all she wrote...and Titus continues the abuse after the match. We need a save...Alex Riley! A-Ri clotheslines O'Neil out of the ring and stands tall to close the show...
TNA XPlosion
Your hosts are Jeremy Borash & Taz.
Velvet Sky vs. Angelina Love(w/ Winter Lea): Well, these two have some history...former Beautiful People tag team partners and now enemies. Angelina takes control after throwing Velvet to the floor, giving Winter the opportunity for a cheapshot or two. Velvet finally gets some separation via jawbreaker...looks like El Big Comeback to me. The two counter each other's finishers but Sky gets the win after a standard-issue DDT.
TNA Impact
Your hosts are Mike Tenay & Taz, your ring announcer is Christy Hemme.
The show starts with a backstage brawl between Jeff Hardy and Bully Ray...Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode un-evens the odds, then James Storm tries to help only to take a beating himself. Finally our bat-wielding executive Sting arrives on the scene and the heels retreat.
Mickie James vs. Velvet Sky vs. Tara Varon: Winner gets the next Women's Title shot at Gail Kim. Velvet breaks up Mickie's jumping DDT setup on Tara with a bulldog...however, Tara catches Velvet in the Spiderweb(fireman's-carry spun into a sideslam) to drop her ONTO Mickie! Tara covers Mickie for the surprise win, earning the title shot at Against All Odds!
Sting tries to call the parties in the show-opening brawl to the ring but can barely keep order long enough to set up the tag team main event...Storm suggests a table match and that sounds good to Sting.
Alex Shelley vs. Shiima Xion: X-Division Champion Austin Aries selected Xion to face Shelley in this contenders' match. Shelley wins a fast-paced encounter with Sliced Bread #2 after Xion misses with the 450 Splash, so there's another match for the pay-per-view.
Eric Young & O.D.B. vs. Winter Lea & Angelina Love: COMEDY~! O.D.B. pins Angelina after the BAM(TKO).
Tag Team Champion Matt Morgan(w/ Tommy "Crimson" Mercer) vs. Samoa Joe(w/ Brutus Magnus): The feud over the Tag Titles continues...Crimson beat Magnus last week, now their partners battle. Joe attempts to take out the leg with a spinning toehold, but Morgan kicks him off into the turnbuckles and gets the win after a discus lariat.
As Fortune Turns...A.J. Styles still can't get an answer out of Frankie Kazarian as it seems like Christopher Daniels is pulling Kazarian's strings for some reason. Daniels says he's going to Sting to demand Styles vs. Kazarian for the PPV.
Jeff Hardy & James Storm vs. Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode & Bully Ray, table match: Just as wild of a brawl as the previous encounters on this show...it ends with Hardy giving Roode the Twist Of Fate, then holding him on a table for Storm to deliver a Macho Elbow and smash him through. Ray lays out Hardy and Storm with a chair after the match, then brings in another table for a superbomb on Hardy(with Roode's assistance).
