For those keeping score(basically, me and no one else), the last two weeks of ROH TV were clipshows and last week's SICW Wrestling Explosion was all classic promos.
Flashback to 1/1/1982(Sam Mushnick's farewell card at the Checkerdome): Ric Flair vs. Dusty Rhodes for the NWA Heavyweight Title in a best-of-three-falls match(joined in progress). Flair won the first fall with a modified sunset flip; Dusty won the second fall after slamming Flair off the top rope and dropping the big elbow. Ric took out the leg in the third fall and the two traded figure-four leglocks, but Dusty's leg gave out on a slam attempt and Flair fell on top for the deciding three-count.
