NWA Anarchy TV #310

Your hosts are Tim E.D. & John Johnson.

Despite the absence of their manager, the Hate Junkies enlighten us...they've laid many teams to waste in the past and they add the Urban Assault Squad to that list. However, that proclamation is a bit premature as Shadow Jackson and Nemesis hit the ring to brawl with Dany Only and Stryknyn! The UAS members clear the ring and Shadow challenges the Junkies to a Hangman's Match at Seasons' Beatings. Nemesis says the Junkies sent them back four hundred years, but they'll be coming for their forty acres and a mule at Seasons' Beatings...yup.

C.B. Gibson & Tommy Daniels vs. Andrew Pendleton III & Bobby Moore: Johnson brings up the dissension between Gibson and Daniels from their previous TV appearance, but it's a different setting this week(tag match as opposed to a four-corner affair). Gibson and Daniels appear to have the momentum late in the match, but a standard tag spot(face holds heels for partner's dive) backfires as Gibson's plancha flattens only Daniels! A neckbreaker onto the knee by AP3 gives Moore the opening for a flying boot to pin Gibson.

Young Lions' Champion Bo Newsom vs. Dustin Knight, non-title: Presumably this isn't a championship match because Knight only recently returned to action. Newsom's recent issues have been with Knight's former tag team partner Anthony Henry. Newsom slows the pace but can't put Knight away...Anthony Henry comes out to ringside with Brodie Ray Chase attempting to keep him from getting involved. However, that distraction allows Knight to fight back with a big clothesline off the top rope...time for El Big Comeback! A huge Steamboat Press earns Knight a CLOSE near-fall...a backslide gets him another two-count. Newsom comes up with a tigerdriver out of nowhere...but only gets 2 1/2! Newsom goes for his swinging uranagi finisher but Knight escapes and dropkicks Bo out of the ring...but the suicide dive attempt is met by a jumping kick from the floor. Bo tries to re-enter but Knight meets him with a middle-rope springboard kick...then brings him back in the hard way with a hanging neckbreaker! Knight is slow to cover...and only gets 2 1/2 on the ensuing pin attempt. Dustin goes for the kill but misses a Stinger Splash...and that's the opening Newsom needs for the SMALL PACKAGE~! to get the three-count.

Tag Team Champion Slim J(w/ Bryan Cassanova) vs. Johnny Dangerous(w/ Lane Vasser): Slim and Cassanova defend their titles against Armed & Dangerous at Seasons' Beatings, so this is a preview of that encounter. It looks like a sportsmanlike encounter but we'll see if it stays that way. This match gives Johnson the opportunity to complain about the Ambassadors not having the title shot...too bad they lost rather decisively to A&D in the contenders' match. Johnson does provide the background that J trained both Vasser and Dangerous...shortly after that, Dangerous backdrops Slim to the floor. Dangerous tries to follow with a plancha but Slim moves and Cassanova easily catches him! Bryan simply deposits Dangerous back in the ring to avoid getting his partner disqualified(Vasser's sudden presence in the vicinity may have been a factor as well). The momentum swings several times as the two trade offensive moves...J gets a sustained advantage but Dangerous powers out of an attempted Screwdriver On The Rocks. Dangerous rallies but Slim catches him on the top rope to deliver a superplex, leaving both men down. More momentum shifts ensue as neither man can keep the edge for long...but neither man can finish the job either. J looks to finish with a modified cross-armbreaker takedown but transitions into the Roach Clip(inverted STF) from there...Dangerous barely reaches the ropes, though it looks like Vasser may have pushed the ropes a bit to help him. Cassanova confronts Vasser outside the ring...and in the confusion Dangerous gets a bridging O'Connor Roll for the huge upset win! Cassanova and Vasser blow their respective tops and come to blows, leading to Slim and Dangerous having to calm them down...

Billy Buck & Skirra Corvus vs. Heavyweight Champion Azrael & NWA North American Champion Shaun Tempers: Buck and Corvus have both challenged Tempers in recent months and both hold non-title wins over him...in fact, Buck has beaten Tempers on three separate occasions. Tempers enlightens us before the match(seeing as how Azrael tends to be a man of few words)...while they'll be opponents at Seasons' Beatings, they ARE former Tag Team Champions together. Tempers has no problem in declaring himself to be the future NWA World Champion...time will tell how Azrael feels about that. Adding to the backstory, Corvus is a former Devil's Reject...and he engages in an early chop battle with Azrael. Are Azrael and Tempers looking ahead to their match with Adam Pearce? Buck and Corvus do well early, but a cheapshot by Tempers allows Azrael to gain the edge on Buck. Buck nearly surprises Tempers with a rollup out of nowhere but only gets two. Azrael & Tempers work together just fine as they keep Buck in their corner...but Buck blocks a Rude Awakening to hit a Samoan Drop! Sounds like a race to tag...Johnson notes that the last NWA World Champion to defend in Cornelia was Sabu and that was under the Wildside banner. Oh yeah...tag to Azrael, tag to Corvus! Buck dumps Tempers to the floor, but some miscommunication between the faces leaves BUCK outside the ring as well. Azrael cuts off Skirra's rally and delivers the Ted Bundy, but Tempers blind-tags into the match as Azrael is executing the move and covers for the pin himself! Azrael & Tempers win...but only Tempers seems happy about it...
