FCW TV x2

FCW TV 11/27

Last week: Husky Harris vs. Richie Steamboat, falls-count-anywhere...and Husky threw Steamboat in the back of a pickup truck. WHO WAS THE DRIVER?

Your hosts are Chris Russo(who?) and Byron Saxton, your ring announcer is Cayley Turner. Big news for tonight: Bo Rotundo returns to the FCW Arena for the first time since the injury that ended his Heavyweight Title reign.

Xavier Woods vs. Rick Victor: Xavier enlightens us during his entrance...he's been out for quite some time with a knee injury. Victor got a shave and a haircut so he looks...kinda generic, really. Solid opening matchup...Victor has been impressive lately though it hasn't really shown in his W-L record. Xavier rallies but Victor escapes a slam attempt to deliver a European uppercut...however, Woods fires back with a jumping enzuigiri. He follows up by catching a kneeling Victor with a low-altitude sliding Flatliner...making Woods' in-ring return a success!

Welcome back Bo Rotundo! Bo is psyched to be back in a wrestling ring...he vows to regain his Heavyweight Title from the man who injured him, Leo Kruger. Enter Richie Steamboat...since Bo's been gone, things have changed. For instance, Aksana Raudoniene is now with him...but that's not important. Last week, he was thrown in the back of a pickup truck...and Richie says it was Bo driving that truck! Husky Harris hits the ring and the referees arrive to keep everyone separated...General Manager Maxine Perez(w/ Derrick Bateman) calls for order to be restored. Tonight's main event will be a four-corner match for a shot at Kruger...it'll be Abraham Washington, Husky Harris, Richie Steamboat, and Derrick Bateman.

Mike Dalton vs. Kenneth Cameron(w/ Raquel Diaz): The Ascension is slightly underrepresented now that Tito "Epico" Colon has been promoted to the main roster. Raquel is not on the house mic this week. Dalton gets in a back suplex and low-bridges Cameron over the ropes, then delivers a Jericho-style middle-rope dropkick to send Cameron to the floor. Raquel distracts Dalton to give Cameron an opening to recover...but Dalton is far more competitive than I would have expected. Cameron cuts him off with a sitout jawbreaker and then pins him with a modified jackknife cradle.

FCW 15 Champion Damien Sandow enlightens us...guess Briley Pierce isn't working here this week. He vows to do whatever it takes to hang onto the medallion...

Tag Team Champions Donny Marlow & C.J. Parker vs. Corey Graves & Col(l)in Cassady, non-title: The commentators do a good job of talking up this otherwise unremarkable match, saying Graves & Cassady could make a big impact by upsetting the champions. A blind tag allows Cassady to surprise Marlow with IT'S THE BIG FOOT...Colin definitely seems to have acquired more personality. Russo notes that Graves has been seen with Leah West recently but she's not at ringside tonight...he'd better learn that CONTINUITY MEANS NOTHING IN THE WWE UNIVERSE~! A missed elbowdrop by Cassady finally gives Marlow the opportunity to tag Parker...he goes low with a dropkick to the knee, then high with a flying shoulderblock. Huge missile dropkick connects, then C.J. nails Graves when he tries to intervene. The referee gets occupied with Graves, allowing both tag champs to go topside for stereo swandive headbutts! That's enough for C.J. to pin Cassady for the three-count.

Backstage, Briley Pierce meets up with Brad Maddox...he met with Maxine and she granted his request for a Tag Team Title shot next week. CHAMPIONSHIP IMPLICATIONS~!

Husky Harris vs. Abraham Washington vs. Richie Steamboat vs. Derrick Bateman: Winner gets a Heavyweight Title shot at Leo Kruger next week. It doesn't take long for Husky and Richie to go after each other, picking up where they left off last week. Abe and Derrick shrug and pair off on the other side of the ring for the sake of symmetry. Russo notes that this style of match is automatically no-DQ since...well, if someone gets DQed, who gets the win? Bateman disengages from Abe long enough to attack Harris, leaving Steamboat to tangle with Washington. This kind of match REALLY needs two referees to keep track of everyone. Bateman takes out Abe with his dropkick off the apron, sending Washington crashing backwards into the guardrail. Meanwhile, Husky and Richie resume hostilities in the ring and Harris swats Steamboat off the turnbuckles onto the ringside competitors. Bateman talks truce with Steamboat and they double-team Husky while Abe's out on the floor...Byron notes that Leo has the week off while his potential challenger has to go through this tough matchup before his title shot.

Husky runs through a double-clothesline to mow down Steamboat and Bateman with his own double-clothesline...he tries to get some momentum going, but Bateman dropkicks the knee to put a stop to it, then dumps Steamboat out of the ring. Washington has finally recovered and goes to town on Bateman, but runs into a huge spinebuster...Bateman goes for a jackknife cradle but Husky breaks it up with the SENTON~! Husky goes for a cover on Bateman but Richie breaks that up. Husky and Richie re-target each other and Richie drops him with the spinaround neckbreaker...for two. Husky comes back with clotheslines on Bateman and Steamboat, then goes after Richie on the floor...that fight travels all the way out of the building AGAIN, leaving us with Abe and Bateman in the ring. Derrick hits a somersault neckbreaker...for two. Standard neckbreaker...for two. ANOTHER neckbreaker...gets another two-count. Bateman goes for the kill but runs into two straight Flapjacks...In Yo Face elbowdrop hits and that's enough for Abe to get the win and the title shot!

Next week: Leo Kruger vs. Abraham Washington for the Heavyweight Title, plus Donny Marlow & C.J. Parker vs. Brad Maddox & Briley Pierce for the Tag Team Titles. So long from the Sunshine State!

FCW TV 12/4

Your hosts are Chris Russo and Byron Saxton. Wheretheheck art thou, Matt Martlaro? Your ring announcer is Eden Stiles.

Donny Marlow & C.J. Parker vs. Brad Maddox & Briley Pierce for the Tag Team Titles: It seems like Brad & Briley are finally on the same page...in fact, it was Briley who talked General Manager Maxine Perez into giving them this opportunity. For reference: Briley still works here. Neither side can get a sustained edge in the early minutes...but Marlow comes up short on a leapfrog and Maddox takes out his leg in mid-jump. Donny finally kicks Brad away and makes the hot tag to C.J....the Juice is loose! Briley takes a double-knee in the corner, but Maddox holds his partner on the ropes to cause Parker to whiff on a dropkick...Briley gets a jackknife cradle...for two! Parker nails Maddox in response and gets Briley in an O'Connor Roll, but Briley reverses into his own pinning combination for the shock three-count! Maddox only hears a three-count and a closing bell so he assumes Briley's blown it again...until he turns around and sees his partner with the belts. We have newwwww Tag Team Champions!

Kevin Hackman vs. Calvin Raines: Both guys have been in limbo in recent weeks despite past success(Hackman's Tough Enough win, Raines' Tag Title reign with Big E Langston). These guys are about even in terms of size and strength, but Raines has the experience edge. Hackman beats down Raines in the corner and shrugs off the referee's attempts to back him off...giving Raines the opening for a punt to the Universal Weak Point. Then Calvin maneuvers Hackman's leg to make it appear as though HACKMAN had delivered a low kick...and that's what the referee turns around to see. Calvin Raines wins by DQ.

With Briley Pierce moving on to bigger and better things, Antonio Cesaro does his own interview.

Maxine meets with Bo Rotundo backstage...Bo wants a title shot once he's ready to return and Maxine seems cool with that. Derrick Bateman tries to cozy up to his NXT fiancee only to get the cold shoulder because she's "at work". THEN Maxine talks to Richie Steamboat, asking him if he's ready for tonight...ready for what, we ask?

Dean Ambrose does his own interview as well...last week, FCW 15 Champion Damien Sandow said he would face any challengers, so Dean throws his proverbial hat into the ring. He vows to destroy Sandow and send a message to S. William Regal in the process...

Big E Langston & "Mr. Jacked" Nick Rogers vs. Jiro & Sakamoto: Three debuts in one match...very interesting. Jiro(fka Taishi Takizawa) and Sakamoto(fka Kazma) are both from TAKA Michinoku's Kaientai Dojo. The match is fairly one-sided...Jiro gets a flurry against Rogers but misses a dropkick...Big E tags in to lay out Jiro with the Big Ending, then swats Sakamoto off the apron. Rogers wants back into the match so he gets the tag, then delivers an elbowdrop after a whole lot of posing and posturing for the academic pin.

Backstage: Richie Steamboat has found Husky Harris laid out backstage! Steamboat(holding bat): "Someone must have hit him with a bat!" Ha ha.

Leo Kruger vs. Abraham Washington for the Heavyweight Title: Abe earned this shot by winning last week's four-corner match. Russo has been been okay so far...just not sure why they switched Martlaro out so suddenly after he called so many of these shows. Feeling-out process to start but tempers quickly flare and Abe clotheslines Leo out of the ring. Kruger stalls a bit, then baits Washington into a low-bridge move that sends ABE floorward. Leo gives Abe a close look at the ring steps, then kicks the steps into him...Washington barely beats the count back into the ring. Kruger attacks the head and neck...CRAVATE~! Leo deviates from the ground game and goes to the second rope, missing the legdrop...now Abe has an opening. Cue El Big Comeback...Flapjack hits and he delivers the In Yo Face elbowdrop...for two. Washington attempts a running powerslam but Kruger escapes the move and clotheslines Abe...for two. Leo sets up for the sleeperhold and gets it in the middle of the ring, but Abe falls backwards to break the hold. Abe hits the In Yo Face elbowdrop a second time...for 2 1/2! Superplex setup but Leo fights out of it, delivers a Steamboat Press only for Abe to roll through...for 2 1/2. Kruger delivers a thrust to the throat to stop Abe in his tracks, then delivers the Final Destination(swinging fisherman buster)...for 2 1/2! Piledriver is countered by a backdrop from Abe...Leo begs off...and double-legs Abe into a Flair Pin with feet on the ropes for the screwjob victory. Ha ha.

So long from the Sunshine State!
