WWE Smackdown

Your hosts are Josh Mathews, Booker T, & Voldemort...the show begins with an interesting verbal battle involving Booker, Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes, and someone who knows both very well: Dustin Rhodes, aka Goldust. Cody defends against Booker next week.

Ted DiBiase Jr. vs. Jinder Mahal: In a slight upset, Mahal drops DiBiase with a Flatliner and gets the submission via camel clutch.

Alicia Fox & Kaitlyn Bonin vs. Natalya Neidhart & Tamina Snuka: Nattie's been having a rough time lately with Women's Champion Beth Phoenix on the shelf with an injury. Alicia gets the surprisingly quick win over Natalya via axe kick, then Tamina turns on Nattie with a superkick and Superfly Splash.

Justin Gabriel vs. Hunico(w/ Donny Camacho): Quick sprint of a match; Hunico gets the win via Estrella Fugaz. Hunico and Camacho double-team Gabriel after the match as Hunico catapults Gabriel onto Camacho's shoulders, then they hit a Samoan Drop/neckbreaker combo.

The Big Show vs. David Otunga(w/ Mark Henry): This was scheduled to be World Champion Daniel Bryan teaming with Show against Henry & Otunga but Henry still isn't cleared to compete. Henry gets involved in the match, leading to Bryan BELTing Henry from behind and luring him away from the ring. Show finishes at his leisure with the PUNCH...but later gets miffed at Bryan for feeling like he has to help him out. Bryan vs. Show for the title next week...oh boy.

Ezekiel Jackson vs. Drew McIntyre: Drew's been officially moved back to Smackdown, but General Manager Theodore Long says he needs to be winning again. After a fairly competitive matchup, it's JACKSON that cheats to win with a rollup and handful of tights...go figure.

Sheamus O'Shaunessy(w/ Hornswoggle) vs. Heath Slater: Pretty good while it lasts; Sheamus wins via Brogue Kick.

Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett, falls-count-anywhere match: This stems from last week's brawl that ended up in the backstage area; however, the referee gets knocked down in the midst of the fight. They even fight in an elevator...but things abruptly end in a stairwell as Wade apparently sends Orton crashing down a flight of steps. Fin.
