Superstars + Smackdown

WWE Superstars.com

Your hosts are Josh Mathews, Matt Striker, & Scott Stanford; your ring announcers are Eden Stiles and Lilian Garcia.

Justin Gabriel vs. Drew McIntyre: Quick title rundown: Gabriel has been WWE Tag Champ as well as FCW Heavyweight and Tag Champ...Drew has all of those accolades as well as a reign as Intercontinental Champion. Drew delivers a series of side backbreakers but Gabriel tilt-a-whirls through the third one into a mid-air DDT...then rudely interrupts the replay with a springboard moonsault...for two. Gabriel keeps up the aerial assault, but a springboard move goes awry as Drew simply clotheslines him out of the air. Future Shock and DREW WINS~!

Trent Barreta vs. Hunico(w/ Donny Marlow(!)): Hunico enters on a lowrider bicycle with his new ally...good to see Marlow finally make it to WWE TV. No clue what happened to the Hunico/Epico/Primo alliance. For those who don't follow FCW, Marlow is Haku's son. Trent got a win on NXT5.com but I don't see that momentum lasting. Barreta nearly gets the upset with the Whisper In The Wind but can't make an immediate cover and Hunico kicks out. Corner Gobstopper...gets two. Dudebuster DDT is blocked and Hunico gives him a drop toehold to send him throat-first into the middle rope. An Olympic Slam sets up the Falling Star swanton bomb and that's the ballgame. Hunico does a post-match promo, not bothering to translate into English...which doesn't help us with the official identity of his new cornerman.

Alex Riley vs. Jack Swagger: Vickie Guerrero's absence is acknowledged but we don't get an explanation for her absence. Riley makes the mistake of trying to go aerial and gets BOOTed in mid-air. The momentum swing a few times over the course of the matchup, but Jack goes for one running Vaderbomb too many and eats a double boot to the face. The Final Score(TKO) is countered into a near-sunset flip, but Riley kneels down on it only for Swagger to escape THAT and go for the anklelock. Riley kicks him away and hits the elevated DDT...for two. Riley goes for his out-of-the-corner DDT but Swagger powers out of it and takes him down with a leg dive...the anklelock follows and A-Ri has no choice but to tap out.

Tag Team Champions Air Boom vs. Primo & Epico Colon(w/ Rosa Mendes)(n/t): I predict FLIPPIES~! The champs are coming off a non-title loss to the Colon cousins on the Tribute To The Troops show as well as singles losses on Superstars(Evan Bourne lost to Epico last week, Kofi fell to Primo the week before that). Primo teases a suicide dive onto Kofi in the early going but eats a jumping roundhouse kick from the floor, then Kofi blasts him with a huge springboard dropkick! Kofi assists Bourne in delivering a TAKA-esque springboard plancha onto both Colon cousins after that, putting the champs in control. However, it doesn't last as Primo yanks Evan into the ropes by the tights, then Epico gets in a cheapshot behind the referee's back. Evan takes abuse but knees his way out of a Primo suplex, then drives him to the mat with a mid-air double-knee...hot tag to Kofi! Rally ensues, punctuated by the Boom Drop on Epico...Trouble In Paradise? Epico ducks away from the move but eats a swinging kick in the corner. Steamboat Press...Primo saves. Bourne takes out Primo with a flying knee but tries to rana him to the floor only for Primo to hang onto the ropes. Primo blind-tags into the match and Kofi hits Trouble In Paradise on Epico, but Epico's no longer legal...and Primo hits the backcracker on Kingston. Cover, three, and the Colon cousins pick up their second non-title win in a row over the champs!

WWE Smackdown

Your hosts are Josh Mathews, Booker T, & Voldemort, your ring announcer is Lilian Garcia.

Josh interviews Booker to kick off the show and asks if he's returning to the ring full-time. Booker gives a non-answer, but says on commentary that he will defend the Intercontinental Title if he wins it on Sunday...

Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Daniel Bryan(n/t): Voldemort takes time out from his Bryan-bashing for the sake of Booker-bashing...refreshing. An O'Connor Roll reversal sequence ends in the Crossrhodes to give Cody the victory.

Alicia Fox vs. Natalya Neidhart: Surprisingly quick match as Alicia wins with a small package.

Jimmy & Jey Uso vs. Primo & Epico Colon(w/ Rosa Mendes): I like the Usos and hope they get a run with the tag belts at some point. SIVA TAU~! Fun sprint of a tag match; Jey superkicks Primo and goes to the top rope, but Rosa distracts him just long enough for Primo to crotch him on the top rope. One hanging backcracker later, Primo gets the duke.

The Big Show vs. Jack Swagger(w/ Vickie Guerrero): World Champion Mark Henry(w/ chair) joins us at ringside not long after the opening bell. Swagger nearly surprises Show by countering a chokeslam attempt into a victory roll and anklelock, but Show uses Henry's presence as motivation to kick Swagger again. PUNCH, pin.

Ted DiBiase Jr. vs. Heath Slater: More competitive than you might think but DiBiase takes it with Dream Street. Jinder Mahal attacks after the match and locks DiBiase in the camel clutch(since Mason Ryan took the full nelson slam), so General Manager Theodore Long decides he REALLY wants to see that Sheamus-Mahal match we didn't get on Monday...

Sheamus O'Shaunessy vs. Jinder Mahal: Jinder does better this time around(in the sense that the match actually starts) but still eats a Brogue Kick at the end, 1-2-3.

Randy Orton & Zack Ryder vs. Wade Barrett & U.S. Champion Dolph Ziggler(w/ Vickie Guerrero): Fine main event for the go-show show before TLC. After plenty of action between the PPV matchups, Orton gets the win via RKO on Ziggler.
