NXT + XPlosion

WWE NXT5.com

Your hosts are Josh Mathews & Matt Striker.

Yoshi Tatsu & Trent Barreta vs. Tyler Reks & Curt Hawkins: Hey, these guys get a chance to talk, go figure. The faces do well early, but Hawkins distracts Yoshi from going to the top rope and Reks slams him to the mat. Trent gets a hot tag and chaos breaks loose, but Hawkins cuts him off as Striker mentions their past history. Hawkins goes for the Norman Smiley swinging bodyslam but Barreta escapes and gets an O'Connor Roll for the upset pin! TRENT WINS~! Even Barreta is shocked.

Showtime w/ Percy Watson: Percy is here to stir things up in our resident love triangle...Derrick Bateman is out first and says all women are insane. Um...YEAH. Next out is Johnny Curtis...then J.T.G.(since he spread the gossip a few weeks ago). J.T.G. says that Curtis paid him off to say what he said...bwahahaha. Maxine Perez is sick of the drama because the focus is not on HER, of course. Bateman is still a bit smitten with her, strangely enough...Curtis says she will be his so Derrick pops him one in response. Percy rubs salt in that particular wound, kicking off a fight between him and Curtis...so Striker makes that match for later.

Jey Uso vs. J.T.G.(w/ Tamina Snuka): No Siva Tau wardance since Jimmy is MIA this week. The momentum swings several times in the matchup, but Jey stops J.T.G. in his tracks with a huge superkick for the 1-2-3. Tamina still gives J.T.G. a kiss to make him feel better...

Backstage: Maxine wants no part of the guys in her life any more...too bad the feeling isn't mutual.

Percy Watson vs. Johnny Curtis: Percy takes over in the early minutes of the match but Curtis backdrops him to the floor. Curtis tries a leap from the second rope but lands right in a facebuster...ow. Watson rallies with dropkicks and an overhead suplex, then the OH YEAH~! Showtime Splash...for two. Curtis kicks him in the gut to stop him, then delivers a DDT and discus clothesline. He follows up with the Falcon Arrow to score a decisive victory.

Titus O'Neil and Darren Young close the show with a verbal face-off. Titus feels he lost his cool last week and should be a better role model than that. Young insults his football past, so Titus mentions other former football players who succeeded in wrestling like Ted DiBiase, Ron Simmons, and some guy named The Rock. O'Neil is content to walk away from this confrontation but Young goads him into a fight...that ends badly for him as Titus dumps him out of the ring!

TNA XPlosion

Your hosts are Jeremy Borash & Taz.

Brother Devon vs. Robbie Terry(w/ T.V. Champion Robbie Eckos), Maximum Impact Tournament: Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Samoa Joe have already advanced in the tournament. If I have it right, the semifinals are Kazarian vs. Joe and Daniels vs. ther winner of this match. "Robbie T" goes on the attack immediately...but Eckos' attempt to interfere only makes Devon mad. Despite that, Terry continues his domination...he wears Devon down with a camel clutch, but an ill-advised jump allows Devon to turn over and raise a knee. El Big Comeback ensues and Eckos sticks his nose into things once again, leading to Devon slamming him into the ring. Devon corners Eckos, then sidesteps a charging Terry to allow the partners to collide. One spinebuster later, Devon advances in the tournament.
